Pros I liked some of the features of the program, the way the system knows when someone is the same person if you call or login via the web application. I like the recording quality and the audio is always clear. Cons I feel it’s not modern and not keeping up with the times. The Interface is not very user friendly and intuitive. Reason for choosing Webex Suite Price and ease of use. August 1, 2018 4.0 Cross location business meetings have become so easy. Trainings to new hires or for a any training this is the best. Pros Speed : Even with the moderate internet connection, Cisco can do wonders. It runs without any delay or lag. I never faced any issues in terms of speed of loading the content. Recording the content is another good feature of Cisco WebEx. This is very important and necessary component of for any software like this. Communicating with colleagues is very easy through this during the meetings. Also used WebEx for internal trainings and everyone found this tool extremely helpful. If we want to ask a question in a meeting -just press that 'raise hand' button. Easy! Cons The only Con I found in this software is the user interface and ease of using. I feel that the user interface is very minimal and lacks interest or doesn't feel exciting. They should try some tweaks in UI front. Also, I feel that it is a bit difficult to understand how to connect to meetings for the first time users. There must be a proper path to connect things up. This is helpful when you have an internal group that you're organizing, versus a more formal external presentation where you need to maintain a little more control over audio and permissions. Polling is a great feature that I've used with success. Cons Overall, I don't have many cons. I guess I do with that file formats like PDFs could be shared more easily and seamlessly, and that Word documents were allowed at all. Sometimes, I want to share something different than a PowerPoint but don't want to share my screen. I've only ever attended sessions through the software and have never hosted an event. However I have found that WebEx always just works. There's never audio issues like with other software and the video works well. Cons I often find that the administrators or people hosting the event aren't on top of the Q/A or chat side of things. I guess this is the fault of the people hosting the event but perhaps it could also be argued that WebEx could improve that UX side of things to alert them better. HOwever, having never hosted a meeting, I'm not sure what that would look like to them. Pros I appreciate the fact that WebEx can allow people to meet virtually from across the country and across the world. It also allows the option for the individual holding the meeting to share their screen. The program also offers the option to record the meeting for future viewing. Cons The WebEx system sometimes disconnects when there should be time left in the meeting. Everyone needs to try to log back on to get back into the meeting and it then impacts the amount of time left. The meeting invitation does not always have the time zone listed, which can cause some confusion. Pros I used and was an admin for this tool at a large enterprise company. We had an agreement with Cisco for this meeting tool. It was simple to use and administer. We had around 100 licenses, and it was simple to remove one person and add another. Cons Users had a harder time getting Webex to work. The instructions for them aren't as clear as they could be. We could adjust the automated email, but some portions remained. This is also a very expensive option for conferencing. You definitely need to be an enterprise to use this tool. Pros You can conduct surveys after meetings, you can share different types of files on the platform, you can have control of all the participants of the meeting, you can use it for different topics such as advices, conferences, learning. Cons It consumes a lot of internet bandwidth so that the meeting has good results, you can not take control of the team of one of the participants in the meeting, the host must pass the control to the participants manually. Can't imagine my world without it. Pros I love Webex. As a virtual Implementation Specialist, I need to meet in Webex and have clients share their screen, so that I can walk them through each phase of the product and train them on functionality. The ease Webex by integrating with Microsoft Oulook and G Suite is amazing. Being able to automatically include dial-in#s and link to the Webex room is priceless. Cons The only con to this software is the recording functionality. It is clunky and not seamless, especially if recording an external conference line and not using the USB/cloud headset.
