I absolutely love its video and audio quality. The mobile application is also immensely fantastic. Cons Webex requirement of high internet speed is very disappointing. You can have online business meetings as if you were face to face. You only need to set the date, time, place and send the link by email. You can present slides and share them with the team, listen to the audio and participate in the meeting wherever you are. You can lock the camera and mute your microphone if you want to be incognito. It also offers the possibility of having written conversations with all the attendees of the meeting. Comments can be sent in public or by private message. Cons A good internet connection is needed so that the quality of the meeting is optimal. But the quality of the audio and image will be distorted. Review Source RM Ryan M. Pros It's very straightforward and easy to use, decent options for viewing everybody in attendance, I've never set up/hosted a meeting, but adding a password and stuff seems to be easy for everyone. Cons Anecdotally, it seems to be a little choppier than some of the other meeting applications I've used. There aren't as many "fun" options as some of the other options, either, like green screen backgrounds. Maybe it's up do you if that's actually a perk. I would recommend it, if you are use to using it, or if it is a standard by your company. The quality is good, it’s just not to me easiest of platforms to navigate through. I would use it if I have no other options. Pros I use Webex periodically mostly for video conferencing, and what I like about the platform is that once you are on the video and calls are clear and concise. I have not experienced much to any video lacking, or drop calls while using this platform. Cons The Cons are I don’t feel like Webex is the easy of video conferencing platforms to use. I tried using on an iPAD by clicking on a link sent to me, and I was forced to download the app. Also, the participant widows that show you are on the call, seem uncomfortable to use. You have to record the video for the video to show, and it was not clear on rather the video was actually recording, or if that was just the way you got the camera to turn on. We went over store upgrade roll-outs, new vendors, and differences between U.S. Stores and their Canadian counterparts. Pros Being able to telecommute from my home to the office, and be able to interact with my fellow colleagues. i can ask questions, post comments, just as though I was in the physical office location. Cons Requires some back-end API, that seem to have similar performance issues that plague Flash. Yes it does have some features missing compared to other apps but I've never experienced any disconnection and latency issues and this is really what any video conferencing tool is meant for. Pros Webex uses simple and effective Video Conferencing which works 99% of the time. You don't have to call someone to join unlike other apps, all you need is a link which is extremely helpful if you have a large organization. The ability to join a room with just a link is definitely a game-changer compared to other video conferencing tools Cons Webex doesn't allow you to save contacts or group people or even search for people inside the app. You have to ask the host for their link which is troublesome if you have to join in a meeting quickly. It would be nice if you can search for the names in Webex so that we can join in their rooms on the fly instead of asking their Webex link manually. Review Source SR Swathy R. Pros I found the webex UI is good and client can directly access from browser without installing it. Also setting up meetings is easy like client calls, conference calls and voice quality is pretty good. During the meeting we can chat with all participants or individual as per need. Another feature I use most during webex calls is screen sharing option for hands-on training and presentations. Also the meeting can be recorded for future references in various formats, there is even an option to pause/continue the recording which is helpful for short breaks during long meetings. Cons One of the few issues I run into when using WebEx on my Mac laptop is black screen appears when switching between full screen mode and normal window. The major downside is expensive cost for purchase and renewals. I have been able to host multi-stakeholder meetings and engage my audience using the built-in tools. I use the share screen function to deliver presentations, and the voting and chat box functions to gather input from participants not comfortable being on camera or unmuting. Pros I like the various tools for communicating and engaging (e.g. video, audio, chat box, raise hand, vote, etc.) make it easy to host interactive workshops that engage the audience. Cons The biggest challenge I've experienced using Cisco Webex is that the tools are not intuitive for all users. For example, using the raise hand function and un-raising hand. Webex has reduced time spend on accomplishing projects. Pros Webex is a great productivity enhancement tool. Ability to make and answer calls from any logged in device makes it's use seemless. These features also make the use of Webex more convenient i.e built-in noice reduction, gesture recognition, automated generation of meeting transcripts, two way white-boarding and transferring of calls between devices.Overall video and audio quality is excellent with stable internet connection. One of the best experience I personally had, is the use of Webex to connect weekly with my remote global team. Pros I Love using the one button push to Join, everything works seamlessly. Furthermore, the Webex Metrics are amazing, tracking the user to the most detail. And combined with the Webex Conference room functionality, while sharing contents and Video streaming, not to be compared to any other provider. Cons Sometimes the setup is really frustrating, as Management console, or trying to fix the voip and parallel telephone numbers for users to dial, in different time zone, can be hectic for the owner to setup all of these without any glitch or double effort. Pros Easy to setup, easy to run, seamless web meetings. I've rarely had customers have issues with getting into a webex and the functionality generally just works. VOIP for the call leader results in great audio quality and the solution just works, even with a large number of participants. Cons Costs are a little high for outbound or multi-country dial-in solutions, and as a corporate users asking your international users to dial a US number just doesn't cut it. Pros It was easy to use and had a lot of features. I liked that it was able to be synced up to my outlook to create quick and easy invites. Cons Video needed improvement. It was not dependable 100%. Was a little difficult to archive trainings or recordings from when I did them, vs. if someone else did them. It was good and I could house my trainings and recordings, but it was difficult to download them and then I had issues with format. I have used it for a while on my previous role as a support engineer where it proved to be a very valuable tool to understand and solve technical issues. On my current role as QA engineer my usecase has changed but it’s value remains when sharing knowledge or having team meetings!
