The benefits are ease of use. Pros All you have to do is just share your personal webex link to your colleague and you can start right away. Medicare Billing Manager Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Cisco Webex Meetings" March 12, 2019 4.0 Unless you are experienced with Webex, people who are not tech savvy don't pick up the different task bars and then you have to change the "driver" - and then sometimes you click on something and you lose the screen and it's somewhere in the task bar and it's hard to find. But overall I am happy with the Webex experience. I have used it numerous times and any dissatisfaction is probably with coworkers who aren't as quick to pick up your software as i am . Pros Once you are up and running you can have multiple attendees at various locations which is extremely desirable for scheduling purposes. I have used it most often with software demonstrations and it allows different participants to drive the session and can give multiple users the experience of using the software being demonstrated Cons Sometimes it is difficult to get on to the meeting. Either you are too early or even during the session sometimes the phone you are using doesn't have a long enough tone for the system to pick properly. I would say that there are some "logging on" issues. I use the product daily for virtual meetings. Pros If you are looking for a complete web conferencing product, WEBEX. It has an easily integrated desktop application, live events and training. All included in the standard license. Cons The user experience is somewhat impaired as the screens and settings are not intuitive. Therefore, it simulates an in-person presentation because you are still able to see the presenter. This allows the virtual audience to connect more with the speaker and the content. With other software, sometimes you can only see the presentation slides and not the speaker. You can also see the participants that have joined and have the opportunity to send chats to the entire group or just with select participants. Cons For better sound quality, I have had to separately dial into a phone line after logging into the webex platform and I would prefer for this to be only one step. The straightforward UI makes sharing screens and switching controls easy. There are so many features about WebEx that make it the best online conference center I have ever worked with. Their customer service is top notch, they answer emails promptly, and answer the chat within a reasonable time. The back end set up is easy to use and very customizable, our attendees have been very impressed with the app! Pros The software is very user friendly and easy to customize Cons There were some minor issues in using Zoom with the software but they figured out an easy work around and the users don't notice a difference. Reason for choosing Webex Suite The price was more reasonable, the initial meeting/demo was very impressive and the customer service was high level from first contact all the way through. Cons This is a great tool for me, which did not have many downsides - thankfully! I used Cisco Webex every day for several years, and found it to be extremely beneficial. No cons for this product. As an overall opinion I see that Webex is one of the most powerful apps which you can depend on. Pros First I'm gonna talk about installation which is very simple and easy and that's a very essential as some apps needs some tutorials to help you complete the app installation. Another advantage is that you can use it on browser wihout installation. It also allows the admin to record the meating for the members who didn't attent the meating or keeping it as a reference. Beside that it provides a great stability during the meating. It does exactly as advertised, and was very reliable for important meetings we held with folks in several states / nations simultaneously. Pros I like the basics honestly. Relative to most other Webex softwares, this was able to be shared quite easily amongst colleagues, and provided more stable connection. It's really impotent too, since I'm in a lot of high-stakes meetings where we have to share complex content very quickly and clearly. Cons Tough to say exactly, but I'd probably just say the fact that it's not very widely used. Analogous to something like Google Play in that respect. As more of our team and the workforce works remotely or in the field, this tool allows for great face to face meetings and screen sharing. Pros This tool allows the user to quickly and easily schedule a virtual meeting. Screen sharing allows for all in the meeting to see what the presenter is referencing. I have found it very easy to use and the interface is pretty clear and well laid out. June 20, 2018 4.0 Not sure which benefits ... We pay for a service and it works. You can depend on it. Pros I work with both the Webex meeting and event center. Meetings are relatively easy to set up and share out the dial in/log in information. I did research on other providers, but we stuck with Webex. It's still my favorite. Cons When you have people register for an event and registrations need to be approved; now the number of registrants is hidden. You have to click view status. Since I set up multiple events at the time I have to click "view status" for every webinar and I think it's a waste of time. I asked why it was changed and if they'd consider changing it back to the way it was since it's not user friendly; but the answer was "no". I assumed/upgrades were supposed to make software better/easier to use... apparently not. I do like to work with Webex; I do not like their customer service. It's not a cooperation like with other companies. Webex will tell you what to do, or apologize if they were wrong; but they don't accept suggestions; they don't really want to hear if you don't like their new feature. Review Source Youssef K. Setting up the account and setting up a meeting weren't easy at all. Connecting to a meeting sometimes took a lot of time Pros It was one of the earliest conferencing software. The price was affordable and it allowed us to connect with customers that had limited access to conferencing applications because webex was available everywhere Cons It's a bit complicated to use and the web client was very heavy. Pros I do use it almost everyday in my office. One of the best features in its Webex console in which it saves history of people I had meeting before. So it saves time by just clicking the name of a person and start meeting again.Also, I can do meetings with my colleagues remotely. Cons If someone wants to join direct voice bridge only, even then he has to retrieve passcode from the Webex link.I think this should be modified by the concerned team to make it more handy and easy to use. Pros Collaboration is a breeze with Webex. There is no other way of saying it. Once you have the tool, it's hard to imagine living without it. In the world we live in now especially, this tool has kept my team communicating effectively and with very limited technical issues with the tool. Cons Microsoft Teams does a better job with handling file repositories for Teams. This is my only gripe and otherwise is negligible. We have Sharepoint for that.
