I like the format better than other platforms that I also have to use sometimes. Pros I love the new feature where if the host hasn’t joined yet, Webex will just call you when they start the meeting. This is great, because I can continue working on other things instead of waiting on a blank web conference screen to dial in. Great addition! Cons The voice quality is just so much different than it is on phone-to-phone. And that’s not a Webex problem per se, that’s a problem across all conferencing software. But it’s still frustrating. But, what a nightmare every time I have to use it. For the longest time it wouldn't even launch on Chrome, so I had to use Firefox which is itself an awful experience. It lets you hear people, see their faces if you want, and send chat messages. It integrates with the LMS that my company sells. Cons Poor interface, unstable, and not intuitive. When my clients tell me they want to use webex within our LMS, I tell them that it has, by far, the most issues when it comes to support. We have their hardware installed in the office, and it's been very convenient having conference calls with our remote teams from all over the world. The video quality is high. Auto-focus feature is amazing. There is a way to share screen, which is handy. Cons There's a steep learning curve. In fact, we got some training from our IT dept, on how to use it. I like how it's easy to share screens during a meeting or files with participants, and it's nice how you have a chat box to easily collaborate during meetings. A feature I've used recently I really appreciate is the ability for a landline phone to call into a WebEx presentation. This is a great feature for when you're in a conference room with multiple people and want to use one phone to call into a WebEx. Cons Audio and video quality can be bad sometimes, but I think that has more to do with the internet connections of the users. Pros The biggest advantage is that it provides a conference call that allows people who are in different locations and who need to meet at the same time. Indicating which user is talking is important for understanding people you don't know. Cons Sometimes, because people have attachment problems, the necessary negotiations have the problem of not concluding. It is an indispensable part of every working professionals' life especially if the nature of work involves coordinating with multiple teams across multiple locations. Pros This is one convenient way to set up VCs with people sitting in the next building or people sitting oceans apart. Really helpful with it's record feature allowing you to virtually re-attend the meeting at your convenience. Pros Best features are ease of interface, simplicity of communication between individuals and in breakout group settings, video and audio come across clear, look and feel of software is very professional. We've had our tech veterans and computer team hop on with first-time client users, and everyone reported back the meetings were a success. Cons Our team is fully satisfied with Webex and can't identify any weaknesses at this time. In the absence of in-person meetings, this software delivered a clear winner. It's not an App that I use often but when I do, I do not experience any issues. Pros WebEx is another meeting tool I use but only if a customer requests that we use it. In using it, I found it to be similar to Microsoft Teams and Zoom. With WebEx however, there is the feature to remove background noises, which I think is a definite plus as it enhances your audio quality when you are speaking. It has easy installation. Probably the most outstanding and impressive feature is that persons from any region or country can join meetings from a landline telephone - no specific need for a computer. You can share your desktop, files and documents easily, and it has a really appealing and simple user interface. Can accommodate large audiences. Although I use it for work, it can be used for socializing and communicating with family and friends. Cons Compared to Zoom and Microsoft Teams, the user interface is a bit outdated. It can be really costly to have access to all the features. Their very informative support personnel were able to answer all of my questions and even take back user feedback for even more improved accessibility features. Pros Socio was a great choice for our 2 days, 300 attendees virtual conference. The registration was simple to set up and allowed for multiple types of tickets. Attendees found the platform intuitive and accessible. We had several attendees who required a compatible platform with screen readers and SOCIO was great! Cons I cannot come up with anything! Everything was accessible and organized. Even with my hesitation to learn how to build out the platform, I was put at ease with lots of resources and support. Make it easier for end users to log into meetings and make it accessible and you got a better product. Pros I like the integration of the software. We integrate with Outlook so I can easily add screen share to meeting notices and then with Gong so that we can easily evaluate and share recordings. Cons It isn't accessible to screen reader users. I work with many people who use screen readers and we have to find alternatives when they are on calls. Pros This software allows me to conduct meetings with current and potential customers remotely and demo new software. It's extremely easy to use and customers with no experience with the software can log in with a click or two. Cons The only downside to the software is not actually being able to see the customers reaction when you're in the meeting, but this is standard practice with all remote meeting solutions. I would prefer Zoom, Microsoft teams and other webinar applications over it. Pros Cisco WebEx is a tool that has been traditionally used for virtual presentations and webinars. It’s one of the older tools and companies continue to use it because it may be inconvenient and expensive to switch. Also, I find that Cisco WebEx is great when there are lots of people on the call. It doesn’t crash or slow down like Zoom. Cons It does not have several features found in other newer tools that some companies have migrated to. And it is not super user friendly. The option to blur or change background is hard to find. Also, there is a defect in the breakout room feature. Unless they actively click a button that is not easily visible, a user will continue to hear audio from the main room. This causes a lot of confusion. Review Source MG Melissa G.
