You can even use the camera to see the people in the meetings, it is really good to see the people that you are talking. Pros It is very usefull and support every need for the bussiness purposes. I am working for Ford over 3 years and most interviews held in online. I am feeling like sitting next to colluages even they are abroad. Cons It really helps me with every need. Pros The software is very easy to use and very straightforward to get set up. Because we were using Cisco WebEx before people started working remote during COVID we were familiar with it and would use it without issues when everyone started working from home. Excellent video and audio quality. I also like the lock room facility. It brings some discipline in the team to be punctual in attending meeting. Recording is also an added advantage. I wish i had control to set a maximum hour while scheduling a meeting. Many of my meetings exceed 3 hours which i believe is the max time out. All participants have to dial back in. Pros Integration with Microsoft Outlook and iPhone. Cons When clicking the same webex URL it opens two windows which should not happen. It has some unique features like it offers participant polling on its free plan, while Zoom does not. It has HD quality in free account. Cons It is complex to use, and has limited personalization options like other video conferencing tools. I have also encountered call quality issues with WebEx. Zoom is intuitive, while WebEx is not so intuitive. Admin console reports provide insight into attendees/attentiveness and managing user accounts is fairly intuitive. Cons Audio issues out the wazoo. Many corporate firewalls interfere with the audio connection resulting in frazzled/choppy audio or no sound whatsoever. In addition, recordings were incredibly unreliable - you never know if you're getting just video or the audio along with it. Support is very frustrating and their support website was under construction for over a year, requiring users to link to several different site areas before landing at the appropriate user center. May 21, 2021 5.0 Even when there's a lot of options in the market that try to work the same like Webex there's no comparison in how easy it is to help colleagues using the remote control option when help in the other is needed. Pros I've been using Cisco Webex for more than a year for studying and for meetings while remote working and the experience has been getting better and better, but the new features makes the communication better. With the noise cancelation feature there's no need to try to be in a quiet place every time a meeting starts and no need to be concerned about how noisy my environment is while presenting or simply while talking. Cons Webex is the app that I use the most while working and I've experienced some trouble when starting a meeting and there is no audio in both sides and the only solution found is restarting the app or the meeting. Pros We used this a lot when we were in training. Our trainer offshore was able to teach a full module via audio and video chat. The audio and video quality was good enough for us to use and understand what he was saying. There's also a feature where the trainer can share his screen and since we can see everything on each of our stations/computers, we were also able to take notes and adjust everything (ie size of the screen, audio, etc) according to our preference. After the training, we were able to each share our screens while he was conducting a mock exam on us. Cons Audio and video quality is okay, but will still depend on your internet connection. I suppose the fact that it's free for me to use as a guest is a good thing, but that's about all I can say. Cons I've never NOT had issues when using Webex. Whether it be audio not connecting, video sharing not working as it should (not an Internet speed issue either), recordings not savings, etc., the list goes on and on. Pros WebEx is a web conferencing platform that allows users to video conference one another in large groups if desired. Its design is sleek, and somewhat reminiscent of Microsoft Teams. The buttons are large and easy to understand. Cons At its best, WebEx is a watered down version of Zoom. It has a less appealing user interface, worse mobile application, and fewer features than its much more popular counterpart. In just few minutes I was used to the interface. I was impressed with the call quality, it's as good as a phone conversation (or better). Pros Really easy to use and compatible with most platforms (PC, Mac, iOS, Android, etc.). It also provides a quick way to call my coworkers and create meetings. Cons No relevant issues. Pros I can rely comfortably knowing it will work when Skype fails me. Super easy to join meetings, whether I'm away from the office and need to call in or navigate to the meeting through the emailed link.
