### "Did a great job for our conference"

My department at the college was very impressed with Socio, and our attendees raved about it. They were really impressed with the quality of the interface and with the ease of being able to interact with our moderators and presenters.

Pros

Being able to host and manage virtual sessions inside our hosted event was incredible. StreamYard was easy to use. I'm looking forward to seeing the analytics that were generated by the Socio software. Great feature having the sessions be recorded automatically.

Cons

There are a LOT of features in Socio. There were a handful I don't think we got the best use of, but I'm looking forward to learning more for future events.

### "Take Time To Learn It"

Mostly, Cisco Webex meetings helps us solve the rural environment in which our company exists. In order to gain access to high level individuals, a large amount of travel would be needed thus taking a large chunk of time out of the typical work day. Cisco Webex keeps us connected so that our meetings can stay personal.

Pros

I enjoyed this software mostly because it helped our office connect with other offices that were not within our area. This offered opportunities for distance learning, trainings, and meetings with colleagues in far places.

Cons

What I struggled with the most was that at first glance, the software appears to be somewhat difficult to manage. Rather than "open and go", there were often several steps needed in order to get 100% connected or allowed into a room. This decreased productivity time.

I use Cisco two times a day while working from home. It touches people’s life.

Pros

In this pandemic times, Cisco has provided us a great platform to remotely touch base with you colleagues. I think the next gen will be people working from homes now and using webex to communicate. This pandemic has thought us we can work anywhere in the world with Cisco webex

Cons

Everything about this software is good. I don’t see any flaw yet. But they should continue to develop on the security flaws that are still there with all online meeting apps.

Used a year or so on a daily basis and never had quality issues or crashes, perfect for simple videoconferencing. Still recommending as first choice for videoconferencing tool

Pros

Easy to use and stable. No lag during videoconferencing

Cons

Due to its pricing it is less popular on management level, competition has similar features.

Great product. Easy to use and navigate. Best audio and video quality I have ever experienced from an online meeting solution.

Pros

Cisco WebEx Meetings has made the user experience its first priority. Starting an adhoc meeting is quick and easy or scheduling is for a later time is as easy as using your email program. Quick one button joining features with call back takes the work out of remembering meeting numbers and codes.

Cons

The user interface does seem to change a bit from time to time. This can cause confusion when users are accustom to buttons or options looking or being in a certain area.

My overall experience with Cisco is good, it's easy to use and it's easy for others to use and access.

Pros

Cisco is a pretty major webex meeting platform, it is easy to use and many people do have it. Most people do not have difficulty logging it and accessing a meeting or sharing a screen.

Cons

Sometimes when an update is released webex gets a little glitchy and can be a bit of a pain, this might be due to the requirements of my company but it would be nice if the webex updates could be more seamless.

Used in a Work-From-Home environment for intercommunication of departments and meeting scheduling and exhibition.

Pros

The interfunctionality of other Cisco software and products if your team is built out in that way is pretty streamlined.

Cons

This software feels more like a virus in that if you utilize other programs for chatting or meetings then it will want exclusivity. This was a major upset after trying out some really functional and easy software alternatives and Cisco Webex would do well to take some notes from other, more diverse, companies such as Discord or Zoom where screensharing, chat rooms, and secure data transfer is easier and seamless.

Overall, it is good product for remote discussion having more number of audience.

Pros

Meet now option provide instant link that can be forwarded to anyone and also by schedule meeting we can include the meeting information. Screen sharing through webex is very helpful and the bridge can accomodate more number of people to join thorugh webex in broswer also through toll free number. Plugin can be included in outlook and can be used for scheduling a meeting. Webex is availbale for all platform like Windows, IOS, and Android.

Cons

Giving control for keyboard and mouse to other user through webex is quite hectic. Meeting will end by default if it exceed the threshold time of 2 hours.

I do like the ease once the application is installed. Meetings are easy to join and the quality is great even with built in cameras

Pros

I like the central management of users from their online portal. I can reset passwords and send out account information easily.

Cons

I do not like the various installs needed to use this software. There isn't one package to download and install all the items for a client. Each item is a separate install, the application itself, the desktop utility, and the Outlook extension.

### "Socio is all you need"

Pros

Socio allowed us to incorporate the organic attendee engagement we have at our live events. Each feature and functionality is very carefully thought out. The support is also unlike anything I've experienced. The team is fun to interact with, quick to respond, and thorough.

Cons

For me, there are just two things that could be improved. Everything else is already being worked on or the improvements have already been rolled out. It'd be nice if the Wall feature populated posts faster. I'm not sure if you can tag people yet, but that would be a great feature to add if it's not there already. Also, for messages, it'd be so much easier if you could type in the person's name instead of scrolling through your connections or going into the attendees feature to find them and message through there.

### "Webex: Excellent for online meetings"

Pros

Webex overall is easy to use. It provides good and stable functionality for hosting online meetings. The screen sharing tools are intuitive and work well. It also provides multiple, simple ways to get into the audio portion of the meeting.

Cons

The latest versions default to having everyone use a webcam to show who they are. This can be turned off, but it is very difficult to find the settings to do so. I'm not sure why they are making it hard to not show yourself on your webcam, but it is an annoying feature.

I met with customers for virtual, interactive trainings that included mutual screen sharing and remotely controlling their screen from time to time. In my experience, customers getting into the meetings was always an ordeal, and the screen sharing was too complicated for them as well. Another competing software has given me no such issues. Also, WebEx tends to completely fail about once a month, or at least did for a couple of years until I gave up on it about a year ago.

Pros

Once you got everyone in the meeting, it tended to work well.

Cons

My customers (small business owners) ALWAYS had trouble logging into their meeting.

The meetings and remote supports are made without much complication because the application responds quickly once you enter the connection, it is very stable and secure. The mobile application works correctly

Pros

Excellent meeting application, when you make presentations of the changes in the system is perfect. It is very good to support, the client feels safe because everything is recorded and you can pass the recording. It is very safe because it is the client who gives you access privileges when granting control of the equipment.

Cons

File transfer is limited. Meeting scheduling is not easy to do. When I have requested some kind of support or information comes from the storage capacity (which may be reaching the limit), the deal is not very cordial.

Efficient way to setup meetings and also comes with outlook plugin to setup meetings on Webex right from outlook. Has dedicated bridge for call and voip support. Collaboration made easy

Pros

Screen share and voip that’s recently released so you no longer need a phone to connect. Also it has a mobile app that can be used to simply join meeting very efficiently if you are not At your desk

Cons

Chat feature needs to be more prominent and save the chat history to access after the meeting which is lost as of today. Also giving control to the other user is missing

Pros

Screensharing feature is amazing Record the meeting as you want and share it later. Sound and Video Quality is great.

Cons

Sharing files is bit complicated. Quite expensive compared to Skype or other tools.

Overall is good.

Pros

The most I like is the audio quality, for my workplace, Webnex is the primary application use for team meeting and communication, compared to other application used in the past, the sound quality makes big difference which does help especially with a big group of attendees.

Cons

Two things, not sure whether this is because is enterprise version or not. My colleagues and myself can't find the function to do the VoIP call, and also can't find the function to delete conversation history. No clue how and where to ask help.

Overall WebEx is an easy-to-use and robust web conferencing solution that is packed with features to satisfy most users.

Pros

I like that users can join meetings from their mobile phone using a link and do not have to register an account to log into a conference call. The screen sharing option is a great feature to show and tell to other participants on the call. I also like that you can record a conference in case you need to go back and watch/listen in the future.

Cons

Sometimes there can be a delay with audio/video but that may be a function of the connection that is being used. It would be great to share files over the conference like you can on Microsoft Teams and also add the ability to do breakout rooms like you can on Zoom.

It has been really helpful for doing my job well and connecting people who need to meet and share content. Overall, it is a valuable software but could be improved with some long-running bug fixes

Pros

This software is effective for facilitating and attending meetings between as few as two people to large crowds.

Cons

This software historically has issues. It frequently drops calls, cuts out audio, and has troubles displaying video or sharing your computer screen with others. This is a bit of an annoyance, but is usually solved by calling back into the meeting.

We use it a lot to include remote employees in meetings. But there are cheaper, even free, products that do most of the same things. But it seems to be widely used by a lot of corporations.

Pros

For the most part it gets the job done. The Call Me feature means I don't have to enter in a ton of numbers on my phone - which I always mess up.

Cons

I find the interface for scheduling meetings in advance confusing and really wish it was better integrated with Exchange so I could book a conference call at the same time.

I love the web interface as an administrator. Being able to login and provision a device for a new user is simple simple simple.

Cons

Right now the integration with Salesforce could be a lot better. We are waiting for them to beef this up with adding calling and SMS into Salesforce.

Great experience overall, provided a needed solution at my agency and would use again if needed.

Pros

I have only used the free version of the software, but has been great to coordinate screen sharing across multiple agencies and clients. While other services can have issues in terms of access and installs, Webex typically does not have any of these issues.

Cons

In just using the free version, there has been some limitations in terms of functionality and expirations, but otherwise it's been great.
