It is steady and solid, but ease of use is lacking. Pros It is pretty straightforward to use, they have added new video view types. The instructions for dial in are pretty easy to find and sharing screens is easy even if you have more than one monitor going. Cons The updates and constant and things on the screen will be changed and hard to follow. Some of the screen functionality is not clearly explained so it is hard to figure out how to do simple things while in a meeting. Pros I can simply share a URL and folks from around the globe can join my meeting. I connect audio using my laptop. Easy to use. I use for small audiences. There is more to it if you have a large meeting. Cons Sometimes the audio connection on the laptop won't work, or I can't be heard. It is so nice that you can even find out more about a persons background and company so you are really ready for the meeting even more so than being there in person. Cons Have used other programs where the share screen control, etc worked a tad easier in my opinion. It still one of the best if not best out right now though to be honest. Pros Best thing about webex is that we dont need to install or download any application to start meeting. Simply open your browser and you’re free to join meetings. We are able to have trainings to demonstrate how to use a software and record them for future used. Pros We are able to demonstrate something but sharing screens. We are able to record calls for training and to meet with others around the world in one meeting. Cons There are some audio issues that occur during calls but it is mostly due to the internet or speed issues of the person having the audio issue. I have a good experience using it and would recommend it. Pros I liked how I can connect my headset to my laptop and speak directly. I have less problems on Webex than when I used Skype. There is a mute button and share screen button on the bottom center of the screen. I like how I can see who is talking on the right-hand side of the panel. The quality of the audio and video is good. It was quite easy to use and navigate. The layout is nice too when there is a big call and I can scroll through the list of people to see peoples’ faces. It was easy to integrate with existing business processes. Cons Some of my coworkers had issues connecting directly with their headset and needed to call in with their phones. Sometimes people could not find the option to share their screen. It worked great, and there were only a small number of times when we had issues with call quality or screen sharing. My favorite feature was having WebEx call your phone - no more dialing the longest string of numbers ever! The interface was clean and easy to understand. When I used it, we never used the video feature, but that may be more common nowadays. Cons The attendee limit often stymied our plans for using it, as we would need to make specific plans to accommodate a large number of webinar attendees or even an all-staff meeting. What I love about it is that it has all the options including a cellular feature where if you are having trouble connecting through computer, you can directly click on the link and a call will go through to the person you are trying to connect. Apart from this cool feature, they have note taking, video calling and audio calling feature. There will also be a meeting log which records all the notes that you've taken during the meeting. Cons For a first time user it can be a bit tricky to get it started. But soon enough it will all work out. Can be easily integrated with Outlook for quickly setting the meetings. 2) Runtime experiance is good, good number of participants can join the call and can do file sharing for reviews. 3) Usually have seen high quality performance experiance without any glitch in number of meeting. Was happy when instructed to use other software, which turned out to be more agile. Can't say I miss using WebEx Pros Easy to connect to meetings, easy to setup said meetings. Cons It feels bloated when compared with other similar software. Sometimes it takes too long for the program to start, and at times it updates itself as you're trying to connect to a call, rather than asking to do so at a later time. It also doesn't work very well if you try to open a meeting invite via browser: it will download the package for installation, even though the program is already installed, rather than redirect the url to the program and starting the call. Pros Cisco Webex is a must have in today's word of teleconferences. It is a pretty straightforward system that can be easily picked up on the fly if you are new to using it. Cons The biggest issue I have with Cisco Webex is controlling who is presenting/sharing their screen. Over the years I have encountered instances where it seemed to be very difficult to transfer control between users. Pros Works just like you expect it to, every time. Integrated into other Microsoft Outlook applications, so it's easy to create a web conference as you create and send out meeting requests. Cons I can't really think of something negative. However, since it is from Microsoft, it will probably be more expensive than other options. If you can afford it, it's totally worth it. Cons It would be great to have a whiteboard for meetings. Totally drains my video card capabilites while running any other software during meetings. Pros Cisco Webex Meetings can be fully integrating with your business Outlook making it simple to launch a meeting at any time. It also makes set up of future meetings a breeze by automatically adding the meeting details to your Outlook invites. Once in, you can share the ability to "drive" the meeting by allowing another user control, you can use cameras to show yourself and see your colleagues, and you can chat publicly or privately. Cons Some end users have trouble launching the Webex but a little time ahead of the first use to set everything up is generally all that is required. Students can also assign "remote control" to other attendees in cases of demonstration or technical support. Excellent application Cons what I did not like was that in Linux operating systems, it does not work to the maximum of its capabilities with all browsers. The software makes it easy to meet at any minute by using the "Meet Now" functionality and sending the meeting login to the other party. Cons Can be glitchy at times. It may be how it is integrated within your company's network but in order to create ease of creating meetings, it's important to make sure it is synced with your company conference rooms.
