I like that when I enter a webex presentation I get a prompt to have the software call my phone to join the conference call. this saves me lots of time dialing into meetings and entering long participant codes. I also like that I can see a list of people who are dialed into the meeting via the participant list on the right hand side. webex has a neat feature where the presenter is in conrol of the webex, but they can pass control to any other participant who can then share their screen or do what they like. Cons \-the interface while adequate is a bit dates looking with lots of blank white space. - It would be nice like an easy one click button to be able to mute everyone one the phone. It serves the purpose but if I have an option, I would look for an alternative. Pros It is fairly easy to use and comes with features like screen sharing, call recording, and video conferencing. I really like the fact that it can dial out the number instead of the user dialing in if they want to simply use phone for audio. Pros WebEx makes it possible to have a meeting with people all over the work on one conference call while seeing the same screen at the same time. During the meeting people can present this desktop, documents , take pills and many other things. This allows the meeting to proceed as off everyone was in the same room when they can be completely across the world. Cons The quality of the meeting can be greatly impacted by the internet connection of certain people. You can't have two meeting running from the same account at the same time so you need multiple accounts. All you have to do is set up the link for participants to use to join the meeting, provide the call in number, if applicable and allows participants to actively participate in the meeting via a chat box on the right side of the screen. I like that you can reuse links over the long term. I also like that the platform is secure and asks security questions for entering meetings. I also really like that it notifies hosts when you enter a meeting. Cons I like that it is not as user-friendly, especially when using the chat feature and screen-sharing. The icons are also not as clear on smaller mobile devices. May 9, 2018 4.0 Pros The desktop version is great and no add'l downloads required. Screen sharing, annotating, etc.The image is aceptable, It can remove or block access to unwanted users. Corrections can be made in documents and presentations within the meeting. Cons Mobile app does not always update the list of meetings. It also sometimes will say unable to join meetings. Like the ability to record the conversation and even track actions during the meeting. Webex is very easy to use for all people from novice to expert user. Webex links with your email account, so you can see upcoming meetings and notifies you in advance with alarms, if you desire. Cons I have not found many cons with this product. I like the ease of use. I do wish that it was available without email and use it offline. I love how it works with my work calendar, how easy it is to create a meeting and share with others. The recording functionality is awesome, making it easy to share with others that cannot attend the meeting. I enjoy using WebEx more than other meeting modules. Cons What I like least about WebEx is that it wasn't intuitive to locate the recorded meetings when needed, however, once I learned where they were housed it was easy enough to locate them in the future. We have these meetings with clients across the country, and we have found it to be the best choice. It seems most people have no issue using this software. March 8, 2021 5.0 The benefits of using Cisco Webex far outweigh any discrepancies (not that there are too many). I was very excited when it came with the option of changing your background to anything you like. I also love the screen sharing option. They have a high level of security policy in place to protect the privacy of your meetings. Whether it is for a quick last minute call or a full ledged all day call with 40 people, I always use Cisco Webex. Pros I love using Cisco Webex for my weekly meetings with my colleagues. It is very easy to navigate through the different options. The feature that I like the most is that you can see all the meeting participants at the same time on the screen. You also have the option of selecting different layouts of how you would to split your screen (only see the speaker, display names, pin speakers to one location, etc.). During COVID, it truly came in handy to have this software. Cons What I like least about it is that although you can change your background but it keeps glitching and cuts off parts of your hair, shoulder, etc. Integration with my work went very smoothly. I am currently using this tool to host & Participate in video conferencing webinars. This is an extremely easy tool for the host to create a video conference or webinar that pushes a link to share to multiple users. The users have the option to particate by chat and also this allows uninterrupted webinar as you wont have to worry about participants mics and/or video being on during your presentation or q&a. In large settings, the anonymity is great to just login and participate too much hassle. Pros The free version is very versatile. You can call in via phone, or participate through your computer microphone. Sharing your screen and being able to record meetings is super valuable. Cons The price once you need the paid version. For the free version, not much customer support. Sometimes you think you are ready to login but it wants to download the ap and takes up too much time. It is very easy to schedule meetings, and you can even text people the link to meetings. WebEx never freezes up or stalls out. Its also very easy to share your screen and use other functionality. It always calls you making it easy to connect to audio. It also offers audio only conference bridges for when you are on the go. Pros Easy to start meetings and easy for others to join. We use WebEx to 'broadcast' presentations but we also record all the meetings to refer back to. WebEx allows us to have meetings in multiple locations and cities at once. This is very helpful in a large hospital setting when it is difficult for doctors to break away from clinics to attend conferences and/or meetings. If they are caught up with a patient, there is not a fear they will not be up-to-date because they can view the meeting later. WebEx is also interactive. They are not only watching, but the doctors can ask questions, talk to their peers, etc. Cons We record the meetings and have trouble with the way WebEx exports. The free version includes some basic features. It is a very useful application for conducting meetings and conferences. But it need to improve its interface and other features to make it easier to use. Pros It is a very good application for conducting video conferences and meetings. Cisco Webex offers the full suite of standard video conferencing features. It offers both free and premium plans. The premium version provides you with additional features like MP4 call, encrypted cloud storage. And also it is the most secured application. Cons The interface needs to be improved and requires some menu navigation. The price is high when compared to other similar applications. The Mobile version of this application has many issues and need to improve in its features. And this application runs slow and it uses a lot of internet data.
