Game Developer Computer Games Used the software for: 2+ years ### "The Best Way to Connect and Collaborate" February 11, 2022 4.0 Overall, my experience with Webex was positive. The platform was easy to use and provided a great way for me to connect with my colleagues online. I also found the customer service to be responsive and helpful when I needed assistance. Pros I liked the ability to have a meeting with people from all over the globe without ever having to leave my office. As well, the ability to share my screen with others during a meeting was very helpful. Cons There are a few things I don't like about Webex. First, there have been times when the audio or video has been choppy or completely gone. Second, it can be a little confusing to navigate the different features and settings. Didn't like the UI or functionality Pros The call quality is good and incorporates well to email if integrated, easy to send link, meeting recording is pretty easy Cons Screen sharing is not good, screen drawing function is terrible, I have experienced crashes. August 31, 2021 5.0 Pros The greatest features I enjoy about the Webex software is screen sharing, real time chat and session recording. This allows for the end user to be able to complete the tasks needed in order to fix the problem with the help of knowledgeable staff and have a recording to look back on for future reference. Cons The recorded sessions aren't automatically sent to attendees. It's up to the discretion of the meeting host. It's understandable if they would like to use for training purposes, but I feel the end-user should be allowed to receive a copy if they'd like without asking the meeting host. Pros The most important feature of WEBEX is easy to use and reachable from my suppliers. What do I mean? I can send an invitation link to them and they can join audio meeting and we can share or screens. They do not load a program to their computer to use webex. A link can send solve this issue. It offers good quality video and audio even with minimal internet bandwidth. Cons If you use external monitors it can be difficult to get the audio to play as it wants to play out of the monitor by default. Also the webex app is very slow to sync with the Outlook calendar and doesn't always sync correctly. We use it daily for our stand up meetings at onsite and offshore. Pros One of the most widely used software for meetings / remote discussions. I do like the screen share option, instant meeting option with screen share and audio. I also like the fact that people in different geographies can come together on a single platform and can share their views and discuss. Submitting questions etc. during the meeting/seminar is also a huge plus, helps keeps the flow going but allows data/questions to be collected in real time. Cons In general WebEx is easy to use if you're pretty tech-savy, but someone who isn't may have a bit of trouble running the show. I have used the platform in pre Cisco days but find it is not as intuitive as zoom and not as easy to use on a mobile. The fact that recordings are automatic is useful for business but lacking break out rooms and ease of chat reduces it's sociability compared to zoom or Hopin. Pros The ease at which a meeting can occur. I like the way participants are presented on screen and the ease at which muting can be done. Webex offers a great tool to minimize the communication problem, with a lot of features that make the meetings much better, providing great audio and video quality, and do all of this things in a fast manner. Webex is simple to use and run pretty well on Linux Windows and Mac, you just need to install a google chrome plugin and you are ready to go. Pros The most amazing feature that webex have in my opinion is the quality of video and audio, and how fast you can share it with everyone in the meeting. Cons On Linux, when you need to share your screen and you have multiple monitors, you can only share all of them, and this some times is really annoying. It doesn't ask for any app or launcher to be installed and instantly it starts the meeting. This is a great advantage over other conferencing applications. The app has all options like mute, chat, record provided by most conference vendors. The clarity of the conference is perfect and I highly recommend webex. Cons none, I'll continue using Cisco Webex Meetings and highly recommend it. It has better audio and video than its competitors, but its weak points are the delay in connecting to the room and the impossibility of using chat when on hold in the room. Overall, it's a good tool. Pros I use the tool weekly to carry out conciliation hearings to negotiate legal debts. Hearings are held via the forum and I attend via a link and a password. What I like most is the audio and video quality, the sound is clear and loud, not having the need to increase the device's volume much, unlike other tools. Cons The tool is a little slow to get into meeting rooms. When we are in the waiting room, it is not possible to access the chat. The chat should be released so that we can talk to the host regarding any question that is pertinent.
