Cons Some of the settings are unnecessarily complicated, and some notifications will never go away. December 11, 2018 4.0 Pros We use WebEx Meetings for client meetings. It is fine, but people seem to have problems logging in more frequently than I think they should. I prefer Google Hangouts for internal meetings. It is easier to log in and get going. But for client meetings, we still use WebEx at this point. Cons The login process seems oddly difficult for many people. I'm not sure why, but it can stuck up 5 minutes out of the meeting just trying to get everyone onto the call. Review Source DF Daniels F. Pros It is very good platform for multi-party video conferencing. It supports screen sharing, scheduling meetings, and giving alerts for the meetings. it also offers options to join audio bridge using phone line and sync with our video and screen sharing. Cons when the network goes down, it doesn't reconnect well sometimes. it takes some time to process and produce the call recordings. Otherwise it is very good tool for video conferencing. I will say that I am typically a participant and not meeting leader, so I may not understand the full capabilities of the product. Pros It is easy to set up and join meetings, connection is typically strong for the whole meeting Cons There isn't too much that is negative to say about webex, but the versions I have used are pretty basic - sometimes I wish the features were more extensive than they are (whether for document editing or idea tracking, etc) Review Source Christopher B. There is still a lot to be desired but for the most part it functions well. Pros Better with a new update; Can get a lot of people on a call. Screen sharing works most of the time. Sound quality is generally good Cons New Users struggle. Has triggered security issues on certain devices creating a near lock out (though this is a combination of our IT and the software's issues). Pros It is easy to use, the integration with Microsoft 365 is excellent, planning a meeting on webex is just a click on a button ! Pros WebEx is a great paid product that my company uses. We "own" five rooms in which our team uses this to help train clients on how to use our product. This gives us a free range of being able trade screens, record and other aspects of the features available. Cons Currently it is being difficult for our clients to log on without downloading a Google Chrome plug in. This takes time and sometimes not always the easiest option. It doesn’t have TOO many unnecessary features that can sometimes cause problems, such as filters, but does have a few of those options should you choose to use them. It’s a fairly simple to use program and I haven’t experienced many technical problems. Pros It is easy to use and set up your personal account within your company. It seems to be more secure than alternatives and very few technical problems while using. The video quality and sound during meetings is good. Cons Sometimes the pc audio doesn't work for some reason or another or when there are many people on the call, even if you didn't set a limit on the number of attendees, one or two people get randomly kicked off the call. Technology Consultant Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A Good Option, But Buggy" May 8, 2018 3.0 Pros This is a great meeting tool that has all the features you would want, such as white boarding, chat, video conferencing, screen sharing, etc. I use this every week and it gets the job done very well. For the most part, it is pretty easy to setup. It integrates well with Microsoft Outlook, so I usually schedule meetings that way. Cons I would say that one out of every four times we start a meeting, there is some sort of error that requires us to close out the application and restart. When we do that, it shows the meeting has already started and then, when we join, there are two hosts shown. This can be problematic when trying to get a meeting going with more then two or three people. We have also had a lot of issues in the past with audio. It's very difficult to get WebEx to keep the same default audio device for each meeting. Review Source Awais A. Its occasional "clunkiness" leads me to the title of my review as "not a big fan." But it does serve the purpose for it was created. Pros I am a User only of this software, mostly for webinars. The screen-sharing function is very helpful and contributes greatly towards understanding the presenter's viewpoint. Occasionally polls are offered and these appear to be handled effortlessly by the software. Cons Most of the negativity section of this review is the regular experience of connecting with the webinar. Downloading and installing the software, dealing with "applets" as well as the occasional disconnection makes using this product mildly annoying - at times. We used webex chat box as well to communicate with people inside the organization. This is a great application. Pros Everyone knows about this and easy to have a meeting with people inside the organization and outside. You don't need to have webex application installed to join a meeting You can join from anywhere, inside the company or outside. The performance is great. Cons When you join from outside the company, sometimes it takes a while to get you inside the meeting. April 25, 2019 5.0 Pros The thing I like most out of below is the system's ease of use and screen sharing capability. For the most part, I utilize the desktop version of this software. My current company and previous companies have used it for our meetings and it does everything we need it to do from the aforementioned screen sharing, the user's ability to insert comments and ask questions to presenter, allowing for camera access, pretty much everything you need it does. I was especially excited when the mobile app version came on as it allowed me to set it up on my car while I am driving. Cons Specific to the mobile app, the setup/logging in procedure required authentication which although I can understand why isn't so user friendly when you are driving which is the only reason why I would use it then. It is helpful for both large and small organizations.
