Pros The UI has been updated to be more modern, in light of all the competition. Instead of the bare-bones UI of the past, now you can create spaces, groups, call contacts, and even view your schedule in the app. With the ability to directly message contacts, it's breaking into the Microsoft Teams / Slack category. Video conference calls are still the primary use case, it's easy to host or join a call and share your screen. Cons UI is still not as intuitive as zoom. Takes some getting used to before you are off to the races. In order to play ARF files you still need a separate Network Recorder Player which is yet another download. Have been patiently Waiting for their file-sharing feature update. Pros There is no privacy breach in the history of Webex. The software is backed by one of the most reputable US software companies. Screenshare and document share options are great and easy to utilize. Cons Slow to start and the user interface is not that friendly. Features are not updated as other meeting software. Especially during the pandemic when we had to go work from home. Pros It was easy to use. Scheduling was easy. Cons I think there was a tiny bug in the scheduling that didn't include the last day of a 4 week, weekly meeting if I included it in the range. I had to put the range in with an extra day. I am not using WebEx as much these days bc my teams is using MS Teams more and my customers are using Zoom. August 6, 2018 5.0 Pros I like the quality of the connection in the sound and camera. I like being able to set up a web-ex quickly and doesn't take too long to do so. I like the multi-ways given to viewers or meeting participants to attend the meeting whether by phone, through the computer, etc. Cons No cons comes to my mind when using webex, it helped in classes. Pros My company was looking for a new conferencing software once AT&T decided to retire theirs. My upper management ended up selecting this one and tasked me with the deployment and administration. Pros: Very easy to use for end users Very basic setup options - quick to configure and deploy Decently knowledgeable support staff and very generous with their time Cons Cons: Not explicitly clear about certain things that really should be explained up front (Example: we had no idea about the video conferencing recording limitations - our end users filled up our allotted size within a week) Extremely annoying limitation when configuring users on the portal (Example: Want to create a new "unit" that only gives \[x\] amount of access to a group of users? Too bad! Pros Enables users to share screens across multiple computers. Once set up the system is easy to use. The interface is easy to navigate. Cons The system sometimes suffers from dropped calls. Cons Webex needs to come up with new innovations especially that the market of online conference tools is now full of players and very competitive, most players offer FREE plans that cover a wide range of functionalities that's the reason why I don't recommend webex for small businesses and entrepreneurs. My favorite function is the share your screen function. This makes it really easy to share presentations with team members and assure that everyone is on the same page. It is also nice to have the option to video chat if desired. Cons I find that when i press the "call me" button it always calls the last number used. I wish there was an easier way to change the number so that it doesn't default. Sometimes when you call directly from your phone instead of through the call me option I find that connection can drop. Pros Cisco proves that they are the leading computer networking company in the world by designing the Cisco Webex Meetings. This online meeting application makes our company's online meeting very simple and reliable. The videos are crystal clear as long as you have strong internet connection. Through this software, the video conferencing is no longer a problem and what I like most about this software is that, the meeting participants have a longer time communicating with each other unlike its software counterpart. Screen sharing is also one feature that I like about this online meeting tool. For person with advanced technical skills I believe that it has a user-friendly interface because the objects used in the interface are self-explanatory. Cons Audio functionality is one of the loopholes of this software. There are times that when we are in the meeting, the participants can't hear the audio and can't set it up properly. For the new user, I think the interface is not that easy to navigate. Cons Sharing your screen is a bit difficult to understand until you realize that the person who hold the green and blue "ball" (representing Meeting Leader) has to pass that ball to the person who wants to share their screen. Then you have to request control of their desktop, which they have to accept. Meetings are easy to start up and join. Inviting users is also easy whether through integration to your calendar or ad hoc when a meeting is already in session. Chat and whiteboard features are also nice. Sharing control is simple with Webex too. Cons Not much to dislike when comparing Webex to most other meeting/collaboration tools. Pros It has a mobile application in which you can organize and attend work meetings while you have Internet connection. You can record the interviews to later see them again and evaluate them. As well as you can block unwanted users and you have the option to modify files sent during the interview. Cons It has a very high cost for its use and the tool to transfer files is very slow. The features are easy to use. I do enjoy the Chat settings with the Private message features. Cons Webex online has a really slow start time which can be annoying in a case where your already late. Very secured and can be used both on smartphone, tablet and desktop. This is a backup solution to our MS Teams Cons Sometimes it takes time to connect, but once you connect, its solid with various options to raise hands and take notes. Its difficult to get recording of the meetings.
