Based on this experience, and the fact that the Fourwaves support team is extremely helpful and dedicated, we fully expect to continue using Fourwaves for future editions of the Quebec Extracellular Vesicle Workshop. Pros Our experience using Fourwaves for the organization of the Quebec Extracellular Vesicle Workshop (QEVW) was excellent. The platform was intuitive, reliable, and well-suited for managing registrations, abstract submissions, and participant communications in a scientific meeting setting. It significantly streamlined our administrative workload and provided a smooth experience for both organizers and attendees. Overall, Fourwaves proved to be a flexible and efficient solution that we would gladly use again for future academic events. Cons While Fourwaves performed extremely well overall, some limitations include reduced flexibility where certain advanced features are tied to higher-tier plans, and reporting tools that could benefit from additional customization. These are minor considerations, often normal to have in any platform, sometimes could be the product of user inexperience, and they certainly do not take away anything from its effectiveness for organizing a scientific workshop.
