Pros

  • Very simple but powerful software program for HOA's. Great staff that will help you set it up and integrate your information into the software.

  • We are very happy with our purchase. By the way, they are great at helping with the integration into their software as well.

  • Overall experience was wonderful. I have recommended your company to other hia's in my area.

Cons

  • This product desperately needs professional usability testing and resulting usability improvements. Things are NOT easy to find.

  • Accounting functionality is limited. Discovered a few bugs early on that were quickly fixed by the team.

  • It took about 10 days to initiate the first ACH transition, and so we were worried the funds transferred was in limbo for too long a period. Need to speed up the initial transaction setup with banks.

"Small Team, High-quality Product, Attentive Customer Service at reasonable pricing"

Overall: My overall experience has been exceptional, the EasyHOA guys are easy to talk to, attentive and responsive and the getting up and running process was basically painless. I am the HOA Treasurer and took over a year ago; I found that we struggled with retaining good and consistent financial and CC&R violation records especially when a board member changed to a new person. We struggled with follow-up but having everything on one place is solving those issues; I believe that in the long run our Board Members will be more involved and less stressed in doing the things the Board needs to do. I also believe that our Homeowners will be more involved with their community and board because of the transparency we are achieving through EasyHOA.

Pros: We love that everything is in one place-financial, violations & requests. Once an invoice, violation or request is posted, it remains there--no more loosing paper. Being a self-managed volunteer HOA Board, everyone has their own busy life so we always have a problem with follow-up, EasyHOA is helping us because we can easily see what is due or what violation has been sent and needs follow-up. I love their customer service, they are very attentive and quick to respond. I also liked that we had one team member to help us with the set-up; not the call in and speak to the next available agent who didn't know us from Adam. Professionally I was a CFO and went through many software implementations in my career of which every one was a nightmare and required many individuals to implement; we had 2 people to get EasyHOA up and running and it was so easy and quick and to get people trained to use it. They are very good at trying to implement additional functions based on issues, questions or suggestions we have made.

Cons: It would be nice to have the "Reports" section improved to allow more reports or the creation of our own reports and to be able to modify what is included in an existing report. It would be nice to have some feature to know or be reminded that a primary homeowners doesn't have email or telephone so we need to print & mail. I understand they are working on a feature to have roles within the Board members to limit what can be changed and by whom.

Reasons for Choosing Easy HOA: I was looking for a software to help our 156 home self-managed HOA. I wanted something simple enough that all our Board members could and would use it but also wanted something robust enough to meet our financial and CC&R violation needs. Lastly I was hoping to find something that our HOA could afford. As an all volunteer Board, we really struggled with retaining good & consistent financial and CC&R violation records especially when a board member changed to a new person. I reviewed 6 software packages, some larger, longer established companies, EasyHOA is the only one that reached out to me the same day (One reached out to me 3 weeks after I contacted them-wonder what their customer service would be like). The software demo was easy to follow. I liked that the software was written for all aspects of HOA management and included so many features we didn't know we needed. The Sales Team gentleman was very personable and answered all my questions, I never felt rushed or like I was just hearing a sales pitch. After having a video call him, EasyHOA seemed like it would be a good fit for us; I didn't feel like I needed to view any other products.

"Efficient HOA Management with Exceptional Customer Support"

Overall: My overall experience with Easy HOA has been positive. The software has made managing our HOA much more efficient by simplifying tasks like communication, financial tracking, and document management. While there are some areas for improvement, such as more flexibility in custom reporting, the platform has significantly reduced the time and effort needed for administrative work. Additionally, the customer service has been exceptional—any issues we’ve encountered have been promptly resolved by our responsive support representative. Overall, it’s a valuable tool that has enhanced our HOA’s operations.

Pros: What I liked most about Easy HOA is its user-friendly interface and the way it streamlines communication with residents. It has been a great tool for organizing and tracking community activities, and the reporting features are easy to use and very helpful for managing HOA finances and compliance issues. It has significantly reduced the time spent on administrative tasks, making our HOA operations more efficient overall.

Cons: What I liked least about Easy HOA is that some features, such as custom reporting or document organization, can feel a bit limited in terms of flexibility. Additionally, there have been occasional glitches with the notification system, where important messages weren't consistently delivered to all residents. However, any issues we've had have been addressed quickly—whenever we've reached out to our customer service rep, he has responded **immediately**, providing excellent support and ensuring things are resolved as quickly as possible.

Reasons for Switching to Easy HOA: We made the switch from AppFolio to Easy HOA because our former property management company used AppFolio, and when we parted ways with them, the license we had paid for didn’t transfer to us. This was disappointing, especially since we had paid for a full year of service. Easy HOA offered us a seamless alternative, and we’ve been pleased with the overall functionality and support it provides for our HOA needs.

"EasyHOA Assessment"

Overall: Tech-support has been great! They continue to work on ideas and help me out when needed. Overall I believe this to be Helpful to and will only get better

Pros: On line payments, Ability to set up voting and survey questions.

Cons: Not user friendly… email system should be an Outlook style…hard to navigate as a board member.. lacking general attributes..

"Easy & Worthwhile Value"

Overall: Very easy to implement, intuitive functionality for board and residents. We get confused processing and reviewing email strings and trying to reply to a portion of a string. Focus on email management and we will be delighted - and if we could pay vendors directly from Easy HOA we could further consolidate to one tool.

Pros: Easy payment for residents through the portal and great centralize communications and documents

Cons: Email organization needs improvement with folder structures and documentation of which board member (in the background) is replying.

"Easy HOA software "

Overall: Knowledgeable support, quick response, and friendly service.

Pros: User friendly software with many useful options pertaining to HOA management.

Cons: No user App, although it is a work on progress.

Reasons for Switching to Easy HOA: We made the switch to Easy HOA in order to offer credit card payments for the quarterly dues and to also have a website with the other tools.
