No, it works as expected and we are working on tweaks to get it better and working on reduction on the Onboarding process. Pros it can house all information required for Onboarding and can create warkflows as needed. Cons Workflows cannot be restarted and SER (NSJ) can't be modified so it can reduce times. They are very customer focused and work in true collaboration to solve problems Pros The vision the company has of being a one stop shop for sharing critical B2B data when it comes to 'doing business' and risk management is what I like most about graphite, I also love the way graphite will suit and flex our business rather than our business flexing and changing to meet alternative solutions out there. Basically graphtie 'enables' business success based on your preferences and way of working. Cons When running basic data gathering reports within the tool we get a spreadsheet with absolutely every piece of data we could want, 99.9% of which was not material to the reporting request. We should be able to run a basic report looking for x & y piece of data without having a massive excel spreadsheet given to us. Note: We choose not to use the reporting modules within graphite (we use our own reporting tools) however basic data searches and results being able to be exported into excel would be nice to have. It has been easy to learn and use. The support staff has been great. Pros The platform is easy to use, and I appreciate that all vendor information is conveniently stored in one place. Vendors have the ability to update their own details, which streamlines the process. The support staff is also excellent. Cons Our API integration process with our ERP took longer than planned. This was a new API connector that Graphite built for our ERP. Tough to say if the delays were due to bugs in our ERP, inactivity from our IT team, or a matter of over promising by Graphite sales team. Today, the API connection is live and working. It's safe, easy and understandable. Pros The onboarding process is really intuitive and understandable to anyone making the registration really fast and easy. Cons Sometimes there are inconsistencies in the given details by vendors and suppliers which are not properly combed through by the Graphite Team. When there is an issue with the integration it can take a long time to resolve. Sometimes an update makes a big issue in the integrated systems e.g.: changing payment terms on multiple suppliers. Pros Graphite is definitely a good collaboration tool: both internal and external stakeholders can have a single source of truth when it comes to vendor management and it's great! Cons I think Graphite isn't easily "adaptable". It's maybe how my company set up the requirements and mandatory information, but we expect the same of level information from a big partner for a big contract as for smaller partners, for smaller things. This means that for a very small event that we need to pay and onboard a new vendor for, they will have many things to fill out on the platform and they can sometimes be afraid. However, some of the sections feel overcomplicated, especially for smaller vendors, freelancers. There are some unclarified questions which make the completion of forms difficult. However, the support team is quite helpful when it comes to issues with the platform itself. But at the end, the user experience is defined by the company which commissioned Graphite's service, and the team behind the task at hand - and that does not make the use convenient. The parts of the process controlled by the serviced company can be slow or stuck for many days, and it's not Graphite's responsibility, but damages the experience. Graphite helped us to mature quickly and has helped our Procurement team gain an positive reputation. I have been on a number of reference calls and consistently have good things to say about graphiteConnect. Pros We were early adopters of gC and have benefited from their growth. We see gC as a strong partner and have built processes and controls around our use in the system. I have been happy with the simple approach to the process to onboard, vet, and connect with a supplier. I have also been happy with the customer support side of things. Cons Being an early adopter has come with its own set of challenges. Building our our network of suppliers was difficult and time consuming, but we are now in a really good place. One area that has been particularly difficult has been transitioning non-network suppliers (they didn't join the network when we first asked) into in-network suppliers. We have full profiles built out that become irrelevant because suppliers are now joining the network. It still needs to be tailored a bit more, but it is working for its purpose. Pros I like that the responsibility of providing all the accurate information and certify it does not belong to our company anymore. It is the supplier who needs to update their profile and Graphite team to validate the information. Cons Many features in the system is not very user-friendly. Once you get used to it, you will be fine, but before that you can struggle a little bit to find the correct action. Example: how to see the history of changes in each field, or the message tool. The filters in the Connections and Tasks tabs are also very simple and need to be upgraded to allow more specific searches. And trust me, that's no small feat. Marketed as a customizable solution, it falls short, resembling more of a compromise. The limitation of having to rely solely on their predetermined question bank significantly hampers its utility. Moreover, the reporting functionality is practically non-existent unless you're content with data dumps, making maintenance a daunting task. While it might suffice for small businesses, for anything beyond basic needs, there's an abundance of superior alternatives available. Pros It looks pretty but that really is about it.
