Learn To Skate Instructor Sports Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Learn To Skate programs need Leevo!" January 11, 2022 5.0 Our Learn To Skate program was an early adopter of Leevo and I was a little skeptical at first of how this would help our program. However it has made our Skating Director's and Treasurer's lives much easier (wish I had this when I did those roles) and I have come to really like and use many features. The Leevo support team has been very responsive and have adapted our feedback into the product. Pros Leevo has been a great asset for our Learn To Skate program, not only for our Skating Director and Instructors, but also helps new skating families get enrolled and track their progress. The web-based interface works well on my phone at the rink, and also works nicely on my laptop when I need to see all the skater/class info at once. Cons It took a little getting used to at first, but Leevo has been evolving and improving usability and features. Screen transition time is a sometimes little slower than I like (I'm impatient). It has simplified our registration process for parents and myself which has allowed program growth beyond my expectations. It brought us from a small struggling program using multiple confusing steps to register skaters to a program of nearly 200 LTS skaters with streamlined success. THANK YOU LEEVO! Pros My favorite feature is how skaters are immediately placed in class rosters upon registering. It takes away the unknown of where a parent should place their child and eliminates hours of my placing skaters each new set of lessons. Additionally the ease of moving a skater is wonderful. Many times I have changed kids from one class to another right on the ice. Cons I would like to be able to create my own classes within the system that are outside the scope of LTSUSA curriculum. January 11, 2022 5.0 I mentioned this above, but just the help it gives our program to run more smoothly. I recently took over the entire program and without Leevo I would not have been able to do that. It makes my job run even more smoothly and in turn the entire program! Pros The features that skaters and parents can view their progress weekly. There is no guessing game and waiting until the end of the session to know how you are doing! I would say that is tied with how much easier it makes my life as a director/coordinator. I cannot say enough great things about this program! Also the fact that the staff is helpful and always answers questions in a timely manner. I cannot express how nice that has been because it makes my job easier and the staff is SO helpful, kind and available! Cons I cannot think of anything at this time! He heard my needs, all the issues that I deal with, and tried to come up with something that would help make the whole process extremely easier. Pros The best feature is registration. This has been the most helpful tool of all of the features. Not having to collect physical paperwork at the start of class, collect payments, and try to figure out what class they go into; has been extremely helpful. I can now focus on my classes and my coaches. I don't have to get pulled off the ice to help someone fill out a form and run their card. Cons I would like to be able to combine or remove students. President Sports Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Incredible tool for Learn to Skate Program" January 11, 2022 4.0 We have had a very positive experience with Leevo. They have been very responsive to our needs and making changes to improve the product as we got into it and used it. I’m not sure how we would have handled all of these registrations in a paper system. We would have had too many students for the number of instructors we had available. Pros I like that it helps us handle registrations for LTS in a way that we can see, adjust as needed and takes some of the administrative work off of our plates. Cons The check mark system makes adjustments easy, but it’s just as easy to click a wrong check mark. Doesn’t happen often, but it can happen. Director Sports Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "User Friendly" January 11, 2022 5.0 Overall a positive experience. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] was accommodating to our small club needs. I love the software program to manage the program. Pros There was a learning curve to get started. When we tried the product the stripe fee and other fees were a surprise until \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] explained them to me. I needed to adjust my price to accommodate those fees. Signing up for some parents was hard. But others signed up easily. I had to learn how to adjust classes and times so parents wouldn’t enroll in a closed class. Staff did not take to the attendance and I am not sure if parents are getting the class skills. This feature that didn’t work for our club because staff are volunteers and less likely to do this. Overall I prefer the ease of use to manage classes and signing up skaters. We got more people interested signing up online and as a result more skaters. Cons Reponse time to questions at times could of been sooner when I was trying to get the program set up. Extra fees needed to be explained more thoroughly so I could increase skating fees for the program and meet my budgetary bottom line. We’ve been able to automate many manual tasks, it’s given parents more control and information, and we’re able to manage our program instead of updating spreadsheets! Parents say the software is easy to use, easy to purchase classes, and they like the report on their child’s progress. Pros Leevo saves us time because customers register themselves and pay online, and Leevo register skaters with USFSA, giving us more time to manage our program. The reports help us plan and carry out our program. The customer support is too notch! Cons That we didn’t have it years ago! Anything we requested, the team made sure they understood our needs and either educated us on the proper workflow or made a change to meet our needs.
