Cons The avatars are so cool, and don't need to be gendered, why don't they let folks choose their specific body characteristics rather than a gender. Also, it might exist but I couldn't find any avatar features that implied anyone using an avatar would be over 30 years old, let alone a middle aged or older adult. Not everyone wants to cos play being younger, especially since we use Spatial for business. The ability to connect with multiple other services (we use Spatial io, but the platform allows for a lot of other virtual spaces and game platform connections).We can choose our body type, clothing, skin color, shapes of features, and have more than one avatar (which is nice for connecting to different events). I'm currently using two (one for warm season and one for cold season). I would dearly love to change the face to match my character in our gatherings. Pros Using Ready Player Me avatar creation has upgraded the experience in my metaverse art galleries for all participants. We previously used the waist up 'avatar' in Spatial . io and they were a bit creepy. The Ready Player Me Avatars are amazing! We experience the closest to one-on-one and group gatherings to the extent that they have replaced other platforms (such as zoom for example). We can participate in gatherings with phenomenal Virtual Reality (with or without the headset). Cons The most apparent limitation is the software will not allow us to upload the photo of our RPG Profile Picture. It requires our real face pic is used. This has made our routine of arriving in our profile pic for the gatherings less than optimal. I don't understand why it would be blocked When we try to use our profile for the gathering we get an error that says something like"NO FACE detected" The pic we are trying to use is 'cartoonish' generally. But should be allowed for our groups to attend so our activities are easier to navigate (when we have contests between groups for example).
