Intuitive user and administrative interface. We were up and running within a few hours on our first production line and after validation have expanded to several production lines without any major issues. Additionally they provide very good user support. They have always been prompt in responding to our needs and this system has helped improve our OEEs on our lines by focusing on the issues driven by real data. Pros Very easy to implement Customer serviceConstantly improving system and features Cons No mobile app. Reason for choosing Factbird For the cost and most importantly the support that we received, Blackbird was clearly the better choice for us. There are a lot of systems out there, but for me the support that we receive before and after is extremely important and is a bonus to a already powerful system. Cons Our initial install process was time-consuming and challenging for our particular use cast. However, I'm sure for more typical factory production line systems deployment and integration would be easy. Andon call can be very powerful. Pros I think how it can adapt to any machine or production line is fantastic and overcome the IT red tape you typically see within organizations Cons When using batches I would like the system to change the downtime trigger. We often get caught out by this and as a result do not capture all the stoppages. But also to understand our flow and speed in a whole new level. We have worked a lot with improve specific product due to the batch function as well. Pros I think that it's not one thing there stands out, but the system in total.For us it's a great way to collect our data, compare, analyse etc. and therefore be smarter in our day to day decisions. Cons There i would say that you cant fully design all your needs, but thats understandable. This unfortunately was not giving us a true picture. Blackbird introduced correct data collection/calculation and what's more important substantially boosted workforce interest in OEE itself and line performance in general. Couldn't recommend Blackbird more! Pros Streamlined front end, accurate data collection, ease of use, great customer service. Cons The only thing I would like to see in the future is integrated file system. File allocation against Products would allow us to allocate Finished Goods Specs and Safety Documentation directly in to Blackbird.
