Product Engineer Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Metamask is the most efficient web 3.0 decentralised wallet to store your assets" November 24, 2022 5.0 As a new blockchain developer and web 3.0 enthusiasts, I have been using metamask for almost 2 years, I mainly use it for storing some of my crypto assets and regularly swap one token to another token cross blockchain network (mostly from Ethereum to BSC). I also frequently use the goerli network on metamask as the main testnet network to test my solidity smart contract. My overall experience with metamask has been positive due to its advanced functionalities which facilitated all I need while present them in easy to use and simple form for the users. Pros From the perspective of new blockchain developer who use metamask frequently to interact with my solidity smart contract, I would say what I like the most from metamask is the availability of many different network not only limited to ethereum. In my opinion, this particular feature is extremely helpful for people who regularly conduct transaction cross blockchain network. In addition to that, I also really appreciate the availability of test network such as goerli and rinkeby which assisted me so much during the smart contract development process before the smart contract is being deployed to the mainnet. Cons Sometimes the transaction takes a while, perhaps due to my internet connection stability and the user interface still could be improved especially for the token swap functionality. Reason for choosing MetaMask I chose Metamask since it provides many different blockhain networks, including but not only limited to Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, BSC, etc, however Phantom is only available for Solana whilst Auro is only available for Mina. It is very simple and easy to integrate with hardware wallets and user can manage multiple wallets in Metamask. Cons I am using iPad and I faced some issue in connecting with some websites like OpenSea and Rarible. you have to connect it through browser from application. i think there is a little space for improvement in IOS. Misleading customer service " June 2, 2023 3.0 I have participated in meta mask mine pool account and invested $ 18500 . So I got a reward of 2.38 eth . I clicked and system processed. I just clicked to know what it's all about , since it said on top my screen apply your mine pool reward & apply success. So I did .After that 2 days later another msg displayed on my account top screen apply minepool reward 8.8 ETH & apply success....so I clicked. Then my entire wallet balance disappeared. I thought system issue . So waited for 3/4 days. Today when I contacted customer service they said by inadvertently clicking that button apply success I got into a contract that I will fund $ 1,00,000 fresh recharge . Balance I have to do $ 75600 in next 12 days else my ac will be frozen and all my money ie $ 35000 will be forcedly canceled and I will be penniless.I requested them multiple times saying I'm first time user and aged person from agriculture , lives with my pension and done a mistake , since I could not read any such condition . Requested them to speak their seniors / ceos - at least save my principal amount invested , by clicking in mistake what ever profit I made, please take back.
