Comments: I would still purchase AdvancedMD. I would just go slower and be more diligent about understanding everything

Pros: Great EHR so far. I've only been using it a short time. Better than Misys, Cerner, ECW, Elipse. Not as good as epic (but a lot cheaper). They seem to have put a good amount of investment into development.

Cons: There are some beta functions so somethings don't work like they say but this will obviously get better as they work on it. I'm not worried about that. Major con had to do with the disconnect between the sales team and the implementation team. I bought my EHR during a "fire sale." They definitely rushed me and it was my decision to go forward. In doing so, there was definitely some miscommunication. I would ask LOTS of questions about training. They consider understanding your needs in the office as training time...I get it but that was not made clear to me. Long story short, ask a lot of questions. I don't think they were purposely misleading, i just think they know more (and therefore assume others know) about their product. I also had some communication problems with our first PM trainer but his supervisor was communicative and attached us to another trainer right away.

Pros: Very detailed and every module is designed keeping the provider need in mind and to provide powerful case management and billing functionality

Cons: Custom Report is very powerful tool provided to build reports. However, denials codes, remarks codes when tied with the claim, duplicates as it captures all transaction/insurance responses and should tie the recent insurance response only by default. There is no way to filter or apply rule to resolve the said issue and makes is very difficult to perform denial management. Default denial reports are anyways no match or provides freedom to add required headers/information. Additionally a single claim cannot be re-billed as a claim and has to be performed CPT wise for each claim and can be made easy. Customer Support is unable to understand the request and acknowledge/honor the improvement required. Otherwise AdvMD is comparatively is well designed and has huge potential if constantly developed.

Pros: It's super customizable and it's aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It also is web-based which makes working from different locations easier.

Cons: Right off the bat it is pretty obvious that this software was not built for speciality and/or large clinics. Within the first few days of using it, I have already found a few workflow options that literally make no sense at all. I was told by an AdvancedMD staff member that I should have no reason to go into the chart if I don't want to start a note....as though physicians and staff members never look at a patient's chart outside of their visit? They also praise it's great customizable templates but fail to mention that they're barely useable and will need constant work to make them printable for other offices or referrals. The fact that you also can't open a patient's chart from the scheduler is bizarre. The company sold us on their new "Beta" system but it has so many glitches that it's almost unusable.

Overall: It's the only way I can do my job on a daily basis.

They made it so easy.

Comments: Overall, I think that I am going to be very satisfied with this product.

Pros: The billing capabilities are amazing. They made it so easy. I was planning on having to have a third party biller, but because of AdvancedMD I am going to do it all myself.

Cons: It is a little bit difficult to get communication going with the company sometimes. It has also taken longer than originally anticipated to get up and running.

It is a time consuming software as far as billing

Pros: Clinical charting is extremely easy. Many things can be done on one page because of the multiple sections you can click to expand or collapse.

Cons: Pharmacy import of patient medications is not pulling from the payor so it's not always available or compete.

Pros: The software is very easy to use. I started using it when I first started the company I am with part time and it was very easy to catch on and learn to manever it.

Cons: The log on process takes a little long for me. It is time consuming when you have a patient on the phone waiting for an appointment but it wont come up on the computer in time.

Overall: We schedule patients and soon we will be charting in the EHR system.

Software is slow since changes and the customer service (once you get through) is great!

Pros: The ease in scheduling and rescheduling patients. In EHR, I like that you can find a patient by first or last name, DOB, etc.

Cons: The amount of keystrokes it takes to do payments and receipts. Since the change in ownership seems that the entire system has slowed down and the weekly changes do not help that.

Overall: The ease of scheduling, payment posting and most reports.

Pros: The Claims Center is an awesome feature. Scrubbing for various errors before claims are sent out. Also, easily determining if a claims batch failed during transmission.

Pros: The training and the follow up was outstanding. The trainer was very patient and helpful taking us through each step of the process. The Support Team has been outstanding with answering those questions that come up.

Cons: Nothing. We've been very satisfied. This is the fourth practice management software I have used over the past 12 years and I have not had any of the issues we have encountered in the past with other systems.

Overall: The ease and accuracy of sending clean claims out and the speed of getting payments in from the payers.

Pros: I like how user-friendly the system is. Our clients are able to use the software with greatest of ease. I do enjoy the updates that are made frequently to add features that clients, such as myself, have suggested to AdvancedMD.

Cons: AdvancedMD has a decent reporting module, but can have an even more robust mechanism for additional fees. This is frustrating since the fee is a monthly fee per billable provider. So, for reporting that may not be day-to-day, the cost over shadows the benefits by a long shot.

Overall: No major commitments, easy usage and all inclusive support.

Pros: I like the fax feature we have. Before I would have to print out each item in the chart to manually fax out a patients medical records. Now it's easy to fax out medical records from the patients chart.

Cons: its not user friendly to learn how to use. It is a product that needs a training session with a trainer from Advanced EHR to come to the office and train the staff.

Pros: Posting payments from the "quick pay" screen. It is nice to know which patient was "last" posted, when I have to leave that screen. For the most part, the adjustments are automatically done, but occasionally I run into a problem with the adjustment not being done.

Cons: The reporting system lacks. To start with, I would like to be able to run a patient list report by CARRIER. This would allow me to see which patients are covered under which carriers. This would be especially helpful in the event (and it has happened), that we no longer participate with a particular carrier.

Pros: The tab driven system is relatively easy to navigate. I believe it has the ability to address our quality measures and the templates are configurable. Customer support is good about putting out fires, however not preventing them. I really appreciate the CIE inbound and outbound option.

Cons: The absolute LACK of timely communication and the lack of support to small clinics. For example, the ability to capture MIPS/MACRA data is available, however not easily accessible at least not to this provider who is also IT!!!! The configurable templates are probably "easy" if you are into IT!!!! There are too many "products", ie NEST, Insight etc. with limited explanation to their purpose. There doesn't seem to be any proactive resources for small clinics.

Overall: The benefits are the mobility from desktop to mobile device is very useful and I believe the possibility of capturing our quality data will be good....eventually.

Pros: I like (1)how the task of entering claims is highly efficient (2) The claim center feature of scrubbing claims before they are sent out (3) the ease of navigating between each window, how reports are easily accessible and can be printed in any format. The collections is very useful for keeping track of overdue balances all in one window. Also insurance eligibilty feature is a life saver for every day use accessing and verifying patient's insurance.

Cons: However I wish more than 3 patients charts could be opened at one time.
Also wish the window size could be dragged to make it bigger specially the financial history window so we don't have to use scroll feature to scroll to right hand side of window to see which carrier payment line refers to.
Not a lot of cons to be honest. Over the years, we have seen enhancement features which did make a difference. For example recent zooming feature nice.

Pros: It's ease of use is a strong point for me. It is very user friendly for the most part. You can pretty much find what you are looking for without having to call technical support.

Cons: In my opinion, not stating this is a fact, just opinion, there technical support doesn't seem to know their software. The software seems to be easy to use however if you do run into a snag, I usually have to explain to whomever I talking to how to use it. That's probably more of a training issue however so I am probably not answering this question correctly. I also do not like that they just change something without letting anyone know.

Pros: It is pretty straightforward to use. I like that you have to hit save in order to save your changes for the rare cases when the changes were accidentally made under the wrong patient (i.e., looking up a patient and their name may populate in the responsible party space instead of the search place).

Cons: Freezes up a lot; spelling has to be exact in order to look up names. The schedule takes too long to pull up and its difficult to choose a certain month. Difficult to view uploaded images because you can't scroll up to the top, but you can enlarge it.

Pros: Ease of use, most anybody can jump on and use it with little training. I like the chat function as they can usually answer my questions immediately without having to open a case.

Cons: How long it takes for some cases to be resolved. I also really don't like the new "nest" product for reviews, etc. The old process was much easier.

Overall: We went from using a hard drive and doing back ups to the cloud which has been really nice as we can use the product from anywhere.

Pros: Scheduling and the training videos I like. The option to make different templates in the EHR are nice too.

Cons: I just come across things here and there that I wish it would do compared to previous softwares. Would like more options when pull up patients history to separate patient payments and only show them.

I think the system is exactly as promised.

Pros: If I have a problem I can call or message Advance and the problem is resolved in a matter of minutes

Cons: I can't think of anything I don't like about this software other than when I call in sometimes I am on hold longer that I think I should be so I decided to message Advance and that seems to be a little less time consuming.

Pros: very easy to use even for someone that never worked with any EMR system. Easy scheduling and easy to put the charges in.

Cons: Can't build more reports without paying extra money. Not enough help with correcting the claims with RCM. The statements do not include CVN for patients to put when mailing back the payments.

Overall: It has both PM and EMR so there is no need of switching from one system to the other for billing or medical records.

Pros: I wish there was something positive about my experience with your company. the software is something that can be worked with thats the most I can say.

Cons: this is the worst of the worst billing company I have dealt with , I have had them for one year now and exiting them is like a nighmare to say the least , the sweet talk is only when the sales team is trying to sell you their services after that you wake up to find out that their customer service sucks . It takes numerous emails before anyone live talks to you , including the account managers that are assigned to your account. I would NEVER recommend advanced MD to anyone in the right state of mind .I would also like to let practice fusion know not to have them listed as preferred billing service on their platform.

Comments: If I could have cancelled my subscription, I would have. It was a total waste of my clinic money and time. You can purchase just about any billing software. It will all do the same thing. Its the customer service and training and support that you need to keep your practice running. I started with Advanced MD over 6 months ago and will not renew my subscription. I would not recommend this software company to any private practice physician or independent biller if you are just starting off. It makes me sad to say that it was a complete waste of time and money.

Pros: It works like any other billing service. OK for both inpatient and outpatient billing. Easy to access from anywhere.

Cons: Terrible customer service. It took Advanced MD over 4 weeks to start implementation so you are going to pay for 1-2 months of service that you can't use. They have multiple "direct lines" on emails from their representatives that don't go to any voicemail. They have poor follow-through on multiple levels with the exception of the sales team (who are really fantastic). I spoke with 5 different implementation team members and still could not get them to start my office key or configuration. Maybe its a ploy to get more money out of you.

Comments: Customer support generally easy to reach and very nice. Unfortunately, they frequently cannot help.

Pros: Schedule relatively easy to use. It seemed easy to use and learn. Has an embedded credit card processor which saves steps but is expensive.

Cons: Cannot edit any payment entries. It voids the transaction and you have to re-enter it. Reports are inadequate without having to purchase a specialized program so that you can create your own reports. . Does not have a clear to read report for only patient payments for year end reports for patients. . Does not show how a patient payment was paid or the payment date or check number if a check.. Does not total the payments so that patient's can match up their payments. We do liability cases and workers comp and we can not easily print CMS forms, or reports. The transaction detail reports do not list the payer and do not break down payments or write offs by insurance carriers. It is listed in a lump sum only.

AdvancedMD is a cohesive software suite. It is good system for you to consider for full PM/EHR.

Pros: It is easy to navigate and use. This billing platform will able to keep track of your all transactions. Overall system has a lot of capability and some features are too good. There is lot of additional functionality that can be used accordingly. Their customer support is responsive and had no problem to contact customer service. Representatives are trying to help you but it does take some time to figure out it. Lot of things I have to mention that is good which is actually part of any billing software.

Cons: Really expensive program. Some training videos are nice and also their training hours hours are not enough to understand the functionalities. Also their representative are limited to provide comprehensive training of each feature/module. Additonal pricing of each add on modules. Some reports are good but need to provide featured report.

Overall: Not to disclose right now.

Comments: We have MDI for our EMR and Advanced MD for our scheduling and billing. They don't communicate with each other and when updates are done claim do not go out. Their customer service is the worst of any vendor I have worked with over the years. Stay away from this company until they can get their act together.

Pros: Very hard to find one. Reports are not bad, but not great either. They should flow seamlessly with MDI, which they do not.

Cons: Customer Support is horrible. They always blame someone else for the problems your having with their software. They Contract with relay health which you cant talk to but expect you to call the insurance carriers EDI department to get a problem fixed. The price we pay for the service we get is way too high. Look around before buying this software.

Pros: I used AMD at a community counseling agency and thought it would be wise to use it for my private practice. I was wrong.

Cons: Difficult to use, no customer support, I would call or email with a question and would not hear back for a week. I was sold the product under false pretense and when I began to receive my monthly invoice it was much more than I expected. When I did speak to customer support they were short, not helpful. I was required to submit notice 10 days prior to end of month to cancel contract. I emailed my contact multiple times asking where I should send the email and never heard back. I attempted to log on the beginning of this month and my account has been disabled with no notice, no response from anyone in customer service. For a small practice, stay far away from this product. Far far away.

Comments: If you're looking for a powerful billing platform this may be a good system for you to consider. However, if you're looking for a full PM/EHR system to manage a mental health practice this system is not ready and costs too much for what you get.

Pros: - Great billing platform with many ways to keep track of claims and payments - We're able to manage 3 locations with a single system - The system overall has a lot of great capability and most of the functionality we were looking for in a PM/EHR system. However, as noted below there are issues with how some of these capabilities work. - Templates can be customized

Cons: - The EHR is not user friendly and leads to many new users creating notes that are not connected to a session as well as multiple redundant notes for a session. - There is no easy way to track missing notes other than going session by session for each chart - The standard reports are generally not very helpful as they provide few ways to customize and filter. The filters that are present are often not logical ways to filter data. What's more frustrating is that there are actually more useful reports that are in the system but they cost additional money to be added to a user's key. For example, a common filter type is to filter a range of providers alphabetically. AdvancedInsight does provide an enhanced reporting capability (for an extra cost) that relies on Internet Explorer and MS Silverlight all of which are old technologies. It is also somewhat difficult and time consuming to learn and still does not provide the ability to customize reports in the standard report capability. For that you have to pay AMD to make the changes or to add the report that already exists to your key. - Printing chart notes requires a time consuming process of creating a Microsoft Word Merge template for each note template and then printing each note one by one. The Word Merge templates are complex to create and manage. - Our sales rep guaranteed us a 95% first pass acceptance rate. After 7 months we are at 89%. There are several reasons for this and the company has provided us a credit but don't be fooled by the promises of their sales team. - Adding new providers can take up to a month. Again we have been promised a 24 hour turn around time and yet sometimes have to wait weeks to get new providers added to our system. Note: we have the ability to add Users but only AMD can add providers.

Comments: For smaller practices and family based PCPs, AdvancedMD can be a great fit but for those larger organizations, some of the tracking, reporting, and customization features will limit the usefulness of this EHR.

Pros: Screen layout is easy to understand and color coding helps with pt creation/checkin process. AdvanceMD steps you through the checking process and can help track the pt during entire office visit

Cons: Manipulating appointments and performing follow ups is cumbersome Ability to create and track multiple Docs at multiple locations is not possible, especially when Docs travel schedules changes month to month Reporting ability lags behind other top players Updates and customizations are difficult with cloud based EHR.

Comments: STAY AWAY!!! You have been warned.

Pros: Um..a few training videos are nice. However there's an over reliance on them. They sound great on the front end and are skilled in the deceptive marketing of their product.

Cons: If you are a physician exploring different options for your EHR and billing, let me do you a favor and strongly discourage you from spending any time looking at this company. They are unprofessional, and over-priced. Their cost is outrageous for the services received and are likely to cost you even more due to the software and inability to support their clients properly. There is a tremendous disconnect between what comes out of their marketers mouth and what you will see with implementation. My level of dissatisfaction with their product and their service can not be overstated.

Pros: Templates are good. there is not much good to talk about. Any thing good is neutralized by amount of problems.

Cons: I am a physician that keep loosing my nosed when my medical assistant or front office go in to chart at same time save the chart before me. It also happens when some scans a documents and faxes a prescription on my behalf. I have the RCM contract. EHR is Ok to use.. But they have multiple unscheduled maintenance during night time. Scheduled maintenance is only for 15 minutes and is very occasional. Unscheduled maintenance is very common and last hours. When you call them they make lot of excuses. Billers are inexperienced. Lack knowledge of local insurance and Medicaid requirement. I have complained to them multiple times that they cannot bill medicaid clients for unpaid balances but still they keep mailing them statements. It is more than a year and they continue to bill my Medicaid patients. Very bad on follow up after filing claims. My claims have gone past 95 days filing deadline without any update from advanced. You have to open a case with concerns that there is no claim on file with insurance and it already past filing dead line. Then they will file the claim and claim gets denied. Then we open case again to request them to appeals. They file the appeal and appeal gets denied and you lost your money. They also do not apply payment correctly and you request them to fix the errors , they will not respond. AdvancedMd does not take responsibility for claims being denied for going past deadlines. If you complain they do not respond to your emails.

We have a great partnership spanning over 8 years.

Pros: It's a user friendly practice management system. I like many of the features compared to other practice manage systems we have had. There are so many reports and their claim scrubbing module is nice. The patient scheduler is easy to read and re-schedule patients.

Cons: The system lags quite frequently and can be slow. The patient portal needs improvement. I would like a system where when you do your own billing, you can easily email all the patients that have a balance with an e-statement. Cons: The software is extremely slow on most days. The patient receipt is very confusing looking. The payment line is above the charge line and does not even print the patient address, city and zip on it. There are so many steps to just print a receipt as well.

Pros: Patient entry is straightforward. Customer service does try to help when you finally get a representative. Many of their representatives are not knowledgeable but they definitely try to help.

Must swing back and forth between Internet Explorer and Chrome because if you have Advanced insight it does not work in Chrome. Pros: I like everything about the product. But what I like most is how they listen to their customers. Us. They take our ideas and wants and make them reality. They have us meet with their engineers and designers to show them what we like and what we need. They take our ideas and incorporate them into the software. Then come back. Show us what they have done with our ideas. Then make them a reality. They listen then produce. Always giving us things to make our lives easier. A clinician is the person that should be designing the medical software. Everyone wants better and bigger. That¿s what you get with ADVANCEDMD. You can¿t go wrong with them.

Cons: I don¿t know if this is really are any cons but ADVANCEDMD offers hundreds of templates. It¿s hard to know what to choose if you haven¿t used an EHR before. You can customize the templates to your liking once you know what will work best for your practice.

Pros: I really liked most of the features of this software. It was user-friendly, had excellent claims turnaround data and a lot of patient-interactive options.

Cons: I did not like that there was not a way for a single-provider group to adjust the price point. While the product was reasonable priced, it was still too expensive for one provider. It would be nice to have a lower starting option for providers that are new to private practice.

Cons: It has been a nightmare to work with this people. To all who want to listen.. be very clear with them about the agreement cancelation. Especially with the sellers. They will promise two months of implemental phase for free but it is going to take more than that and you will finish paying for a service you are not receiving. That happened to me and they started charging me. When I tried to cancel the contract nobody answered. So they continue charging our account. After a lot of conversation, they offered to credit my account if I continue with them which for me it was a big "bribe" Of course at this point I was not waiting for a piece of honesty from this people. We are going to be sent to collection for a 'delinquent" balance charged for a service that we didn't receive. BE CAREFUL this could be your story too.

Comments: too soon to say much , havent been fully functional yet , but seems will work well

Pros: seems will work as partners well with existing EHR, seems needs at least 6 weeks after sign up to get somewhere , but hopeful to get positive outcomes looks like . with time like in 3 months , will know more

Cons: not the cheapest. but like it that it will integrate with existing EHR , taking long to get thru process

Pros: It's easy to use and as a lot of additional functionality. It offers more than what we utilize at this point. Our rep is PHENOMENAL! She responds timely, is knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.

Cons: Some of the add-ons are costly. Worth it, but your initial price will grow because you'll want to experience more.

Pros: Available customization for documentation. Implementation consultant did a wonderful job. Available online video training for referring back for help.

Cons: Doesn't fit seamlessly with Mac. Opening of multiple tabs between EHR and PM isn't ideal. Timeout time is too short.

Comments: Would be nice if we could write our own rules for our billing staff to run more effeciently Would be nice if the referral tab actually calculated correctly

Pros: F1 key and one rep that went above and beyond out of allllll the reps I spoke to.

Cons: If copay is applied to visit; it must be removed to apply the insurance portion instead of auto calculating The system does not allow you to attach a consistent modifier to a CPT code Test runs should have been made on each electronic payer prior to implementing system live Still unable to process TMHP and MCR RR electronically

Pros: The system is pretty straight forward and easy to use. The basic billing features (submitting claims, posting payments) are easy to do. The collections module is helpful and the authorization tracking is pretty nice.

Cons: We find that they do not have upgrades very often and do not take customer comments and suggestions into consideration very often. For being a web based system it is not the easiest to set up due to Active X controls and certain browser setting requirements. Reporting is lacking, even in basic data, unless you purchase their pricey reporting module.

Worked with AdvancedMD at my last job and it was probably one of the worst programs I've worked on.

Pros: Pro's was it was easy to understand but way to simple a cheap for anything that my providers were actually looking for.

Cons: No customization on the reports. I worked with Mercury Medical and got the best over and went to the worst with this program. Everything was sorry we can't do that or that's not available. Especially with anesthesia billing.

Pros: The best feature for me personally is the ability to work on my iPhone and iPad. I am extremely busy and not always able to sit at my desktop to work so this feature is crucial for me.

Cons: It was a bit difficult to learn how to customize templates the way I prefer but once you get the hang of it, it's fairly easy to work with.

Pros: Extensive program. Eprescription is easy, Lab orders are comprehensive. Ifax feature available for sending and receiving faxes, Customer service is exceptional, you always get a representative that will try to resolve the issue while on the phone, Trainers for the software are knowledgeable and helpful. PM and EMR communicates and easy to use both sides. Verifies insurances 2 days ahead of the appointment automatically. Patient portal is available. Billing service is fast and reimbursement are quick. RCM team is amazing.

Cons: Too many clicking between pages. Inability to check "Reviewed" box on a summary page at once, rather have to go through different tabs to check boxes. Too many "OK" to click with eprescription. Scanner only "Twain" compatible. Have to go back and forth between tabs to review PMH, Preventative medicine, vitals and care team

Pros: I like the electronic billing options, 835s, Collection Module, and denial tracker. The claim scrubber is very helpful too.

Comments: Beware Sales team is aggressive and trap you quickly. Steer clear of advanced MD.

Pros: PM System is decent and easy to work with. I like the cloud system and ease of sign in. But see the cons because these pros are not worth it!

Cons: EHR IS TERRIBLE! Support is not knowledgeable and you wait hours on hold for useless support staff. I am fed up!! Scanning is horrible and dysfunctional.

Comments: Overall, I am very happy with the PM and "2-3 out of 5" happy with the EHR. Once you become familiar with the difficult quirks, it just becomes second nature. However, what is "second nature" for me now would be appalling to someone who is familiar with a most customizable, more user-friendly EHR.

Pros: The scheduling part of Advanced MD is so intuitive. To move an appointment, just click, select "move", and click on the date and time you want instead. I like how you can customize the time intervals, color code appointment types, and assign each a default length of time. Adding a patient is easy. Making billing notes, sending messages/tasks, entering patient info, are all quick and simple. There are nice features in the EHR, such as being able to pull in medication history from a national database, look up pharmacies, customize acronyms and use pull-down menus to drop in often-used phrases.

Cons: Actually customizing the templates is quite difficult if you have not been formally trained by Advanced MD specialists, which costs extra. Trying to figure it out yourself online via training videos is next to impossible because it is not customized to your situation. Also, finding training videos to answer specific questions is also near impossible. In order to print a note out, you have to select a "WordMerge" option from a menu, then click several times until a word document opens up, which you can THEN print. Far too many clicks just to print out a note, in my opinion. I have not found a simple way to print out all of a patient's notes, so I end up repeating this process many times when an entire medical record is requested -- VERY time consuming. Advanced MD offers all sorts of conferences and trainings, but they all cost outrageous amounts of money, and most are in a location where you would have to travel to get there. I wish training was more accessible and not so costly. I wish creating templates were more intuitive and more easily done by a regular run-of-the-mill user.

Pros: PM easy to use and EHR is customizable over all the software is set up in a easy to use and understand platform

Cons: notes are all held in EHR unless pulled into word doc that must be custom made by your practice and if you make any changes to this word doc then any notes prior to this change will not have those new changes. It is very confusing and time consuming! Also advancedmd is not reliable, they do not bill accurately, their fax system is a separate system that you have to go into and push out all the faxes that anyone in your office hit ''fax" on. I could go on and on with the cons of this system.

Pros: I find the software to be comprehensive and generally easy to use. I like the favorites capability for frequently used reports. The more I use it - the more I find it can do.

Cons: It's not always easy to find information on what I need it to do - which is where the exceptional Customer Service representatives come in. They're able to resolve any/every issue I have/had.

Overall: The ability to know exactly what's happening with our claims.

Pros: intuitive layout, software reflects knowledge of actual workflows, cloud-based , best set of ready-to-use reports I've encountered. It does not require a separate IT specialist systems administrator to keep it going.

Cons: occasionally I have to hold for a while waiting for a rep on the phone, but the reps are very knowledgeable and understand our business and are able to remote in and help, which is great.

Pros: Once you get used to it there is ease at working it. From other billing software that I have seen this is by far easier to maneuver through and find where and what you need to be doing.

Cons: We have had trouble, not sure if its the software or internet, but it will kick you off during the afternoon hours. This happened frequently for a while but now is down to just a few times a month. You can just be working and it just stops.

Comments: We are a fast paced Orthopaedic office with 3 surgeons and 1 PA, this system has made the office workflow between the 4 providers so much more efficient we are able to focus staffing resources in other area of need now.

Pros: From the first inquiry about AdvancedMD to contracting to set up to actually using the system, AdvancedMD and their staff have been AMAZING. The system is user friendly, easy to learn, and easy to customize to your specific practice needs. We are transferring form a less than adequate EMR system to AdvancedMD, and I cannot be happier with the decision to go with AdvancedMD. I researched at least 20 different EMR vendors and had demo's with 3 and it was apparent from the start AdvancedMD was the only choice for us.

Pros: that it is connect to the practice management program. On our old system to had to purchase two different programs. One for EHR and one for practice management.

Cons: the nursing staff doesn't like it very much. They are still getting used to the change. I don't work with the Electronic Health Record side very much. I do most of my work with the practice management program.
