Unser Unternehmen wächst immer weiter und hat viele Administratoren dazugewonnen. Eine einheitliche Infrastruktur und einheitliche Prozesse sind inzwischen essenziell, nicht nur wegen Audits, sondern auch wegen der Administrierbarkeit. Mit Tenfold ist das klar geregelt und technisch einwandfrei umgesetzt.

Pros

Tenfold ist ein sehr modulares System, das sich auch an komplexe Unternehmensstrukturen individuell anpassen kann. Wir haben unseren kompletten Benutzer-Lifecycle-Prozess mit Tenfold auf Basis unserer globalen Struktur darstellen können. Zusätzlich konnten wir die IT tatsächlich durch viel Self-Service, zum Beispiel für Führungskräfte, entlasten.

Cons

Die Einarbeitung und Implementierung kostet viel Zeit und Diskussion mit verschiedenen Fachabteilungen. Der Support ist aber über Ihr eigenes Ticketsystem gut erreichbar und hilft schnell aus.

Tenfold wurde eigentlich für die Verwaltung unseres Fileservers angeschafft, durch die vielen Möglichkeiten welche es bietet verwenden wir es mittlerweile zur Erstellung von unterschiedlichen Benutzerkonten, zuweisen von Rechten und Gruppen und den Selfservice für die Anwender

Pros

Wir haben durch Tenfold den Zugriff auf unser AD auf ein Minimum beschränkt. Die Benutzeroberfläche ist sehr leicht zu bedienen, und es können unterschiedliche Gruppen für Support, Administration und Anwender für unterschiedliche Rechte erstellt werden. Außerdem gibt es ein riesiges Automatisierugspotenzial

Cons

Die Ersteinrichtung ist sehr Komplex, und braucht viel Know How, ohne Berater ist es schwer das ganze Potenzial auszuschöpfen. Außerdem sind die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten teils sehr verschachtelt

Ich verwende Tenfold bei mehreren Kunden (zwischen 800 und 8000 User) seit 5 Jahren. Mir gefällt die einfache klare Bedienung und dass das System laufend mit sinnvollen neuen Funktionen weiter entwickelt wird. Als ich mit Tenfold begonnen habe, gab es z.B. noch keine User Lifecyclephasen. Heute könnte ich mir nicht mehr vorstellen ohne diese die Prozesse der Kunden so einfach und elegant umsetzten zu können. Auch die Anbindung an Microsoft Entra ist einfach zu konfigurieren und funktioniert wunderbar. Tenfold sollte in keiner Firma mit mehr als 50 Usern fehlen!

Pros

Die einfache Bedienung über Web Browser. Weiters ist es ganz einfach, über Powershell oder Groovy das System um eigene Funktionen und Code zu erweitern.

Cons

Dass erstellte Ressourcen nicht einfach aus einem Test-/Devsystem exportiert und in einem Produktivsystem wieder importiert werden können.

Ich arbeite nun seit fast 2 Jahren mit Tenfold und habe es in den verschiedensten Umgebungen in Betrieb genommen. Tenfold bietet ein gefühlt unzählige Anzahl an Möglichkeiten einen User Lifecycle zu automatisieren. Insbesondere die Last von den IT-Abteilungen zu nehmen. Es erfordert doch einiges an Zeit und "Hirnschmalz" aber wenn mein einmal den Dreh raus hat sieht man sehr schnell das enorme Potenzial hinter dem Produkt.

Pros

Einfach Anbindung an Fremdsysteme wie M365, AD, Exchange, div. Plugins (Matrix, Personio, etc.) Die einfach Visualisierung von Überberechtigungen und Missständen in der Umgebungen. Und ganz besonders die Möglichkeiten gefühlt jede Situation automatisieren zu können.

Cons

Die Dokumentation müsste dringend überarbeitet werden. Diese ist oft sehr überladen und unübersichtlich. Man sollte in Betracht ziehen die GUI in Zukunft etwas Benutzerfreundlicher zu machen.

Das Arbeiten mit der Anwendung mehr sehr viel Spaß, um so länger man mit der Applikationen arbeitet um so mehr Ideen kommen auf um neue Workflows ins Tenfold zu integrieren und das tägliche Arbeiten der Endanwender zu erleichtern und die Vergabe von Berechtigungen zu beschleunigen.

Pros

Ich habe schon mit einigen IAM- Tools gearbeitet aber mit Tenfold erhält man aus meiner Sicht die beste und eine sehr nutzerfreundliche IAM- Lösung mit integriertem Self Service und eine große Bandbreite an Schnittstellen.

Cons

Um so länger man mit Tenfold arbeitet, an um so mehr Stellen stellt man fest das Tenfold noch etwas verbesserungsbedürftig ist. Oft fehlt es nur an kleinen Einstellungsmöglichkeiten um Tenfold auf firmeneigene Bedürfnisse zu konfigurieren. Jedoch kann man hier Feature Requests eröffnen und wenn mehrere Kunden ähnliche Anfragen stellen stellt Tenfold auch ohne zusätzliche Kosten neue Features und Verbesserungen bereit.

Bisher sehr positive allgemeine Erfahrung mit Tenfold gemacht. Zuweisungen zur Ressourcen geht sehr schnell und einfach.

Pros

Die Übersichtlichkeit und der Umfang der möglichen Connectoren. Man findest sehr schnell was man sucht, die Anordnung der Menus ist logisch aufgebaut.

Cons

Dass man nach einer Personensuche immer wieder neu über die Suche einsteigen muss, um weitere Personen zu suchen.

Ich liebe diese Lösung, weil wir extrem schnell productiv sein können. Wir können viel konfigurieren und haben trotzdem die Möglichkeit snippet zu benutzen

Ist sehr einfach zu bedienen/konfigurieren Self Service ist selbsterklärend Die Plugins erlauben eine schnelle Integration

Cons

Ist nicht alles umsetzbar - Business Rolle vs Technische Rolle, Verschartelung Delegierung Profile werden leider in Reports nicht ausgegeben

Our overall experience has been excellent. As a distributor, we’ve onboarded multiple resellers who were able to quickly understand the solution and successfully position it with their customers. The learning curve is low, training materials are comprehensive, and the tenfold partner team is highly engaged. Our customers love the transparency it brings to user and access management, and the licensing model is transparent and scalable. tenfold is a future-proof choice in the IAM space.

Pros

The intuitive user interface and powerful automation capabilities stand out the most. From a partner perspective, tenfold is extremely easy to position and sell — the value proposition is clear, and the platform addresses real-world IAM challenges like user lifecycle management, permission visibility, and compliance. Integration with Microsoft systems is seamless, and deployment is smooth. We also appreciate the outstanding partner support and commitment from the tenfold team.

Cons

There is very little to criticize. Occasionally, more specialized customer use cases may require customizations, but even in those situations, the tenfold team is quick to support us with solutions or workarounds.

Wir nutzen Tenfold nun gut seit 6 Monaten und sind äußerst zufrieden. Es sind bisher keinerlei Probleme in Bezug auf die Funktionalität aufgetreten. Das System ist sehr wartungsarm und bedarf nur wenig Betreuung

Pros

Wenn das System einmal eingerichtet wurde, erleichtert es einem den IT-Alltag um ein wesentliches. Vor allem im Bezug auf Berechtigungen. Hier ist Tenfold den Windows eigenen Features um Welten voraus. Eine klare Empfehlung meinerseits.

Cons

Es gibt zwar eine sehr ausführliche Dokumentation, nur leider lässt sich daraus nicht all zu viel ableiten, wodurch man wieder auf Dienstleister seitens Tenfold zurückgreifen muss. Abgesehen davon gibt es kaum bis keine Nachteile.

Ich arbeite mit tenfold schon seit Jahren. Früher hatte ich es selbst bei meinem ehemaligen Arbeitgeber eingeführt. Später habe ich in der Beratung immer wieder tenfold bei meinen Kunden angetroffen. Das Produkt hat sich super entwickelt und der Fokus ist immer noch der Richtige - einfach einzuführen und praxistauglich für den Mittelstand

Pros

Das es im Vergleich zu anderen Produkten dieser Art ein echt praxistaugliches, intuitives und schnell einzuführendes Tool ist. Genau die richtige Flughöhe!

Cons

Ich habe an dem Tool nichts Wesentliches gefunden, an dem ich etwas fundiertes auszusetzen hätte....
