We are going into our 2nd year and super excited to see the continued improvements with our fleet. We have seen marked improvements in safe driving habits since starting this journey. Pros By far the largest advantage with the Netradyne system is what it allows us to see and share. The Driver-i partner application for the drivers is outstanding. This creates the most amazing transparency between the company and the driver. Drivers are given the visibility to see where they can improve driving behaviors and the power to make the change. We have found drivers who engage with the driver-i app improve their scores and driving behaviors by as much as 200%. The accuracy of the AI technology is excellent providing valid useful videos for coaching and improving the driving behavior. We routinely use captured video in orientation classes and safety awareness training. Clarity in the image has been extremely helpful at times when it was needed most. Cons The only area I have a con for Netradyne would be the support for issues discovered. I feel this is one major are in which they can improve. More timely and effective solutions would be very helpful. Sometimes the answers take a while and they do not solve the problem. The front line Customer Success managers do a great job of working with you on helping you learn and use the system. They are also great at solving most issues but the back end support needs some improvement. Customer support was always responsive and helpful. The AI technology was superb. Pros The left and right side facing cameras housed into a single unit are a very nice feature. Cons Experienced some issues on the client services side but nothing extensive enough to warrant a negative review. i believe their customer support was offshore which presented some communication challenges. GPS was not as advanced. If your going to use a video camera to point blame at a driver for something they are doing wrong, better make sure you get it right and stop false blaming drivers, therefore creating more video alerts which makes more work for office employees to review. Don't let Ai manage your drivers. Pros I am not really impressed to be honest. Its hard to find something to brag about with this particular camera. Cons Hang on... get ready... I dislike everything! It is far from user friendly, the back end office is extremely cluttered. No simple way to download captured videos for training. False video captures on many occasions. Camera does not provide clear images compared to older products. Drivers compete against each other to get a better score, what better competition than to be a safer driver?! Cons Not being able to reject multiple alerts at a time. Several speed violations are incorrect and have had to be fixed multiple times, impacting our drivers Greenzone scores. Takes a lot of asking to have the Support team go in an reject those alerts for invalid speed events across our fleet for periods of time in areas where they were incorrect. January 4, 2022 4.0 As with any dashcam system, the videos and data we receive is very eye-opening and we've learned things about our drivers we wouldn't otherwise know. Overall, Netradyne's technology inside the cameras is solid but their customer service and communication leaves a lot to be desired. Pros The AI technology in the camera itself is quite impressive and can generate very accurate alerts on a range of driver behaviors. It also integrates with our ELD provider to properly identify which driver is in which truck. Cons The calculations that go into the "green zone" score aren't spelled out anywhere so it's kind of a "magical" number they give each driver. Getting support takes hours to days and doesn't provide any useful information most times beyond what's in their help documents. For some reason they have decided to charge for access to their API. They are the only company I know that does this. Since we are not paying for it, combining scoring data from Netradyne with data from our other systems is a pain. January 4, 2022 4.0 Pros The overall ease of using Netradyne blows the competition away. Whether you're at home or in the office, you can access your events anywhere. The app is very user friendly and you can monitor and help out drivers in every situation and from everywhere. The 4 cameras are critical to seeing events and fighting for your company when accidents occur. The coaching feature is phenomenal and you can correct ad habits in real time. Customer service is excellent too. Cons There's not a whole lot to hate. I guess the initial set up was challenging but Netradyne flew out technicians to ease that pain. Operations Manager Consumer Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Satisfied Customer" January 4, 2022 5.0 Netradyne has been overall a very positive experience. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is the greatest help down there and has even driven himself up to our office (a 5 hour drive) twice to make minor repairs and just to show us how much he cares. We are a small fleet and overall a small account for this company and he always made us feel like we were a priority. Sadly, I don't exactly feel the same way any longer. The company has grown, taken on a huge account (Amazon) and they can't seem to get us new cameras in a timely fashion. The latter is probably not their fault as everyone in seemingly every industry has had their problems getting technology over from China. Pros We implemented this system because we had a few accidents the prior year and we wanted to invest in a driving program that would help curb that. This software is extremely feature rich and you can really look at the data presented from multiple angles. What separated them at the time from other companies is that their software doesn't use map indicators and actually reads road signs to help determine traffic and highway/street speeds. I'm not sure if other software companies have caught up to this but they were absolutely top of the line in their technology at the time that I purchased them for our company. The cameras annotate the things that it is seeing so you see everything on one timeline. It is very slick! Cons I don't have any dislikes about the software. My only complaint is that the mount for the hardware (3M tape that sticks the camera to the windshield) comes undone in the hot weather. We have had to replace the mount 3-4 times in our fleet. The videos are very clear. It really helps having the GPS location where it will pin point the exact location of this incidents. The ability for the drivers to see what we are seeing in the office takes a lot of pressure off us. The drivers are notified when they trigger the camera system, for good and bad. The fact that this system also rewards the drivers with stars is a great feature. Cons COVID did make the facial recognition software hard to identify the drivers. The system has provided our management team the data needed to reward great driving, training tools for improved driving as well as eliminating employment for drivers that refuse to comply with basic policy. Pros Easy to install, monitor and overall allows our company to determine which drivers and operating safe and those who are not, thus need additional training or an exit plan. Get more than we were looking for in that we also have GPS location on units at all times. Cons Not related to the install or operation of Netradyne, however least desirable attribute was our electing the inward facing camera and the initial reluctance of driver to accept. Most drivers have no problems with front facing but we decided that to fully know what is going on and to train properly, we want driver facing as well. Reason for choosing Driver•i One Came down to 2 desired partners and final decision was based on time in which Events were reported to our team. Netradyne is immediate and allows our team to determine what events are important and not vs another system that sorts them first and then sends what they believe is important. Cons Cannot see camera's in real time. Camera's are constantly needing to be replaced. Sending back malfunctioning units is very confusing and difficult. Pros The ability to be able to see in real time what the drivers are seeing through their eyes. At times it actually feels like you are in the truck sitting right behind them. Cons My only complaint thus far is that I called a couple of months ago and I could not understand the person on the other end of the phone. Not sure they were in America - it was very frustrating but the issue worked itself out. But capturing a collision is worthless. The shock of a collision isn’t recognized. Pros The cameras have four direction sights/vision. Cons The data connections are not complete. When an accident happens, the event is not recorded. Even when the power source is connected. When power source is disconnected, there is nothing to review. Unless the camera is found. So the worse the collision, the less is recorded. While comparing this device to Samsara in the same truck, Samsara captured an accident/collision, while Netradyne did not. Pros The software is easy to use and cameras are easy to install and implement. However, they do break easier than would like. Always replacing nd always have a 20 plus waiting period on new cameras to get here for warranty. Cons They break easily and we cannot get replacements fast enough.
