Pros

I like how I can create realistic 3D designs, and can sculpt images on the platform.

Cons

I do not like how touchy and sensitive the platform sometimes is.

An easy-to-use writing platform that could better integrate with publishing organizations.

Pros

Very easy to write and format a readable and beautiful blog-type article.

Cons

How to integrate with the publisher. Could not determine how to send to them to publish.

Medium is a very interesting tool. My team is exploring VR modeling right now, and what I was able to try on Medium is mind blowing.

Pros

You can import 3d models from other sources, and then finish it with Oculus integration. You can collaborate online..

Cons

Does not support HTC Vive. May be a little too confusing when you start to use it.

I'm able to 'Ideate' very quickly to "mass out" some early designs. Then if I want to get more precise I can. I do more of my really precise modeling in a traditional 3d modeling software, but that fact that I can have be best of both is powerful. I can bring my models into Medium from other programs and I can also export models from Medium to my 3d platforms. It has sped up my early "blue sky" creativity stage and I even capture the scenes while inside and use those captures in presentations. It really look cool (..and also professional) in the presentations.

Pros

It's kind of mind blowing to work and design in a 3d virtual environment. You don't even need to have a goal in mind when you put your headset on and go in. It's so much fun to just doogle in 3d with these magic tools/brushes in your hands. And that's what I like most about it. It encourages me to go in and just create. It's more engaging than drawing. I have a little bit of a shake in my dominant hand from a car accident. It makes it difficult for me to draw on paper with a pencil. But in Medium, that's not an issue. It has freed me up to explore drawing again and now in 3d.

Cons

It's kind of complex and figuring out where all the tools are and how they work takes some time. Actually, any powerful software is going to have a learning curve and that's really not a "Con" per se, but if I had one thing that I didn't like, it's just kind of overwhelming when you start out.

Reasons for choosing Medium by Adobe

I use them both. they both have their assets. But I really like the painting tools in Medium.
