Pros It is very easy to use and have friendly user interface. We can easily restrict and grant rights and permissions to the users. Grouping user is relatively easy. You can also generate alerts via SMS and email. It has lot of styles and extension available which makes it more presentable and attractive. It performance is good i.e fast in operations. Cons One of the drawback is its price, I think its a bit expensive, its complete package should be under 500$. Another thing is it closed source and it only offers MySQL system. It is an extremely easy software to set up on your own server and the admin control panel is a breeze to navigate through. The multiple themes and addons available for XenForo is great and allows you to customise your site exactly how you want to. Cons XenForo is unfortunately a pretty expensive forum software to set up initially and manage. Renewals are not cheap and the majority of good addons will set you back a lot of money.
