Pros Even though I have Photoshop, I love using PicMonkey for small edits or creating easy collages. It's super easy to figure out and creates a professional look in minutes. It's great for simple, quick social media projects and allows you to easily edit photos and create nice looking graphics if you don't have a designer on staff. Once I started working with multiple brands, I outgrew it. Pros I like that the platform is relatively easy to use and has a pretty wide array of things you can quickly do to edit photos. It's simpler than Photoshop and definitely faster with less learning curve. Cons There are limitations to the software, so it won't be a good fit if you're looking for high-end or print graphics. Also, if you're working with more than one brand, it would be helpful if the software had the ability to keep fonts and colors for each brand in a toolkit so they would be easily accessible. August 10, 2019 4.0 All in all the pros of using PicMonkey outweigh the cons so i’d recommend anyone who’s looking for a software to edit their photos to use PicMonkey it’s easy to access on any device. Pros What i like the most about PicMonkey its the fact that even though there’s a paid subscription ,the free features are all what you need to do whatever you want. The user interface is simple to navigate and clear which delivers a great user experience,add to that the fact that there’s no restrictions when using the free feature and you can download what you worked on to your device without having to lose the quality of the image. Pros PicMonkey allows the average user to create stunning graphics. It's a great alternative to someone who is budget conscious and doesn't have the means to get a software such as the Adobe Suite. Cons Since it is a cheaper alternative, there are limits to the features. It will allow you to create basic designs, but if you are used to something with a lot more freedom, you may find it limiting. Have another look: you can use templates, but you can also start from scratch, and basically do anything under the sun. Pros This is my favourite photo editing and design software. I love that it's offering so many different ways to enhance and even transform a boring photo into a spectacular one. I really get creative and enjoy playing with the awesome features, templates and powerful touch-up tools. Re-editability, storage, collections, layers, custom effects, an entire library of customizable templates crafted by pros, a mobile app for iPads and phones, curved text, and alignment grids and more. It's easy to work with. Very reasonable priced and worth it at least 100 the price. Cons I truly can't find anything to complain about. I am a fan of this software. The cost of membership is so much lower than Photoshop for instance, which is unbelievable. Now that it's become a paid-only service, I've found other (free) means of doing virtually the same that it used to do for me. Pros I used to use it all the time when it was free: +Easy to use +Many fonts that weren't (previously) available on other software I'd used +I could save it as several different file types +Several neat filtering options Cons \-Though it used to be free to use, it now requires a paid membership to use, so I no longer use it. However, when it was free: -Though it was nice and had great features, it wasn't anything that would replace something like Pixler or Photoshop. It has a lot of features you expect in programs like Adobe Photoshop of the sorts. It offers layers and resize and touching up, etc. Cons Used to be free software and then they have a paid option when you want to download or use the work you have created. Feel that the monthly cost is too high for what you get when you can avail of a full suite of apps from Adobe Creative Cloud for a monthly fee. This is a great app to have on your phone to quickly edit a photo, add filters and have a great photography or also add some text or logos and add it to your social media. I think is great for those moments when you want to share a moment or maybe a business promotion ASAP. Pros I really love the transparency option and the stickers it offers. Other of its great features is the option to erase any background the photography has. Cons I don't like very much the automatic option, I think is better to adjust manually and explode the other tools it offers. Reason for choosing PicMonkey I like that it's not only a photo editor but also has stickers, text options, and specially because of its integrated cloud that you can continue editing on the computer what you started on the phone. They aren’t really free if you still end up having to pay. It’s marketed to beginners yet it charges as it if were for professionals. Pros PicMonkey is a great photo editor that allows you to create some amazing designs, collages, backgrounds, and even stickers. One of the best features is the background removal tool, which lets you highlight an object and then erase everything else in the picture. Before, I had to spend lots of time using Photoshop to get the same effect. Cons Despite all of the amazing features, they’ve started charging quite a bit. In order to use a majority of the editing tools, you have to pay a subscription fee. Even if you use the free features, you still have to pay in order to download your creation. As long as I needed I will be a customer. Pros When I started with photography I used PicMonkey every day and now if I want to save money and it is a small edit, I still use all of my work saved there for over 4 years. So thank you for letting me become more professional. Cons I don't think I can find anything bad except now that they were forced to change and get rid of "flash" uploading all of my fonts it is a royal pain the butt. That is about it. I see so much potential and since we have mastered all of the free tools, we are discussing the premium membership. Changing programs for certain features is time-consuming. Pros First of all, we use the free version...so we love that. We use this program in tandem with several others, mainly because it is easy to use and I like some of the templates, but also because I can easily train employees how to use it. Some of the free features are on par with the more expensive editing programs. Cons Access to the program could be updated. The login can be tedious. I know I use the free version, but the "free stock" images and icons could be expanded. If they improve their marketing and offer peeks and perks to subscribing to their premium level of features, we might have already signed up. Review Source Raj P. I have been using it now for a couple of years and so I can simply tell PicMonkey is the best than any other online editors. Pros The PickMonkey's list of features I can do almost anything I want with photos I would like to edit. In addition to excellent photo editing options, PicMonkey provides a solid amount of graphic designing tools that I can use during the process of making any banner images for my website or produce impressive social media images. Cons The least helpful about PicMonkey is that it has an image size limit. It allows to choose from three different options but no option allows to upload images larger than 16 Mega Pixels and if I upload larger images than this the PicMonkey will automatically resizes the image to 4000×4000 pixels.
