### "Swiftlane is a great modern door entry and security system"

May 21, 2026

5.0

We got the door entry system a few months ago and it has been working well as both a user and an admin. A few disconnections and reboots when first installed but working great now.

Pros

This is about the support...which was great. Quick follow up when I had submitted a feature request and let me know how I could accomplish the need now without a product change.

Cons

• Charges monthly or yearly (a small amount) for some advanced features. • Did not understand before purchase exactly what (minor) system add-ons we needed to keep working when the internet was down.

### "Great Product"

May 18, 2026

5.0

I have had an overall great experience with Swiftlane. I like the interface and new video security feature.

Pros

I really like the Management and Resident interface. The facial recognition and video features are a plus.

Cons

They go down and need to be reset more often than ButterflyMx's. I am not sure why but would love that to be fixed.

### "Lousy Product and Sub-Par Customer Service"

May 17, 2026

1.0

The system look ok and has a potential to provide good service however, a product that cannot survive more that 3 months without a trouble, as well as sub-par customer service make this product expensive and not worth the investment.

Pros

Outdoor panel looks reasonably ok and easy to use. The capacity to add/remove/edit users and choose different access points is good. But nothing that other products are not providing.

Cons

The system is unreliable and needs to be re-set very often. If we can have 2 months with no problems to access the building or access points we are lucky. On top of this, customer service is as inefficient and inconsiderate as customer service can be. It took months of complaining about the constant need to re-set the system until it completely failed and then a month to solve the problem. This is neither safe nor fair for a building entry system.

### "Swiftlane Experience"

March 24, 2026

4.0

Overall the experience has been really good! I appreciate all of its features (i.e. customization, ease of use). With continued software updates Im hopeful all the bugs will be worked out so things run seamlessly.

Pros

I like several features of swiftlane: Overall, its easy to use, it didnt take long to get used to the interface once we had it installed. It is easy to set up specific codes for visitors and track when someone has used them. I like that you can unlock your door from your phone, see who you are letting in, and my partner can be alerted as well.

Cons

There have been some instances where we've had a frozen Swiftlane screen and no one could get in the building until it was fixed. Customer support does respond quickly, but it can take five to ten minutes to get the issue solved. It has not happened a lot, more in extreme cold weather.

### "Preferred Cloud Intercom system"

June 14, 2026

5.0

Pros

Smooth software, responsive team, and easy setup for new users. I own a small business and hav ehad the chance to compare Swiftlane with others and prefer this interface.

Cons

I don't have any true issues, as if anything comes up the team is quick to help troubleshoot. One of my feature requests was video review of each entry and this feature was recently added, albeit with a cost.

### "Swiftlane insall"

June 2, 2026

5.0

This is a new device that we are evaluating at one of our properties. If all goes well, we will look to add this at other locations in the furure.

Pros

After installation support (configuring) was provided in a timely manor. We used an in house electrician who was initially having trouble getting the mag door release to active when prompted by the Swiftlane device. He contacted Swiftlane for support and was able to resolve the issue. Thank you.

Cons

I will need to integrate this with Appfolio in order to make the adding and removal of tenants automated as people move in and out. This has not been attempted yet.

### "Great Customer Service. Great System"

June 18, 2026

5.0

Overall it has been great. I had to call Customer Service and they were courteous and very helpful. Really quite happy.

Pros

I love not having to struggle with keys when my arms are full. The facial recognition has worked perfectly. I also love being able to give pin codes to my children so they can enter without a key.

Cons

Occasionally I get an entry request from a delivery person that is for another resident. Luckily, with the Swiftlane System, I can talk to them and ask them which unit they are going to.

### "Swiftlane overall very satisfied"

May 6, 2026

5.0

It aligns with where buildings and security are going—smart, integrated, and user-friendly. The hardware looks sharp. It elevates the space instead of looking like an afterthought—important if you care about presentation and brand.

Pros

Swiftlane feels more like a tech product than a traditional access system—mobile-first, clean interface, and intuitive for both admins and users. The touchless entry is fast and reliable, which is a big differentiator. It’s not gimmicky—it improves flow, security, and convenience.

Cons

Sometimes the system goes offline and a reboot is needed. When this happens, a quick phone call is needed to diagnose the problem and it is quickly resolved.

### "Excellent Experience with Swiftlane"

May 24, 2026

5.0

Swiftlane is an excellent team, they are very professional and they always answered all of my questions and concerns.

Pros

The thing I liked most about Swiftlane was their fast response when I reported an issue, even when they don't respond and I leave a message. They also didn't stop until my problem was fixed.

Cons

There have been a few times where the product's internet connection was unstable, and the system wasn't working properly.

### "Overall good experience"

February 18, 2026

5.0

Overall its been a great upgrade for my building. I am not a buyer, just a user, so I cant speak more broadly to customer support or finances, but I've found it to be really useful.

Pros

In general I really like the overall functionality, but a few things stand out: 1) Being able to customize ongoing or one-time codes for visitors. it removed the need for key handoffs 2) I appreciate how many options I have for getting in - tapping open on my phone, face scan, code direct. I have a lot of options

Cons

There are a few things: 1) It can be a little buggy and the system needs to be reset (and if someone isn't inside it can be challenging). if the system shuts down and we don't know, we can miss packages etc and its pretty disruptive 2) I do think there is some bias in the face recognition software. In my experience, I think the system may have been built mostly with white male faces as the system has a harder time scanning/approving women and people of color. 3) Sometimes when a package buzzes in, my phone app glitches and I can't open it. I'm not sure if this is a switflane issue or a my phone issue

### "Swiftlane at School"

November 12, 2025

4.0

Overall, it’s been a reliable system that’s significantly improved communication and security for our school.

Pros

Swiftlane has honestly been a game changer at our school — it’s provided an added layer of safety for both students and staff. Our campus is set up like a college, with each building housing different grade levels, and Swiftlane makes it easy to manage door access across them. Our admin staff uses an iPhone with the Swiftlane app to answer the door, and it’s great being able to clearly see and hear who’s there before granting access. Some staff members preferred not to use facial recognition, so I set them up with numerical codes instead — which also comes in handy if the system temporarily loses internet connection.

Cons

One con we’ve noticed is that the boxes occasionally lose internet connection, and I have to manually reboot the Swiftlane box.

### "Effective and safe "

March 12, 2026

4.0

Overall pretty good. Provides a lot of security for your home. Keeps you connected and feeling safe whether your at home or not.

Pros

It’s accessible considering you can access entrance to your building through your phone. I like that there is an access pin for visitors and delivery. I also enjoy that when someone calls your specific apartment number, you get the call through your phone with video surveillance and an option to speak.

Cons

Sometimes the system does malfunction and you may be locked out of your building. But in general it doesn’t last too long and won’t happen often. The problem is solved promptly.

### "Ease and convenience "

February 18, 2026

4.0

It’s been useful and handy not having to use my keys. Buzzing people in is a breeze and also very useful. I love being able to buzz someone in via the app when I’m not home.

Pros

I really like how the door opens without a key by face recognition. I love the sound it makes, but when it makes the denied sound for my partner who doesn’t live here, the sound is a little loud and abrasive. I think it would also be nice if it made the acceptance sound when he typed in his code to enter.

Cons

I mean… I didn’t really have a choice in it being installed, but I don’t love face recognition stuff in general because of the potential for using the data for surveillance. It kind of creeps me out, but the convenience of it is cool.

### "Customer service"

February 23, 2026

5.0

Excellent experience with app itself and customer support is very quick. I got my issues solved in efficient manner.

Pros

Swift lane is very easy to use, and even mobile app is very reliable. Changing password and getting technical support is very easy.

Cons

Sometime, gets slow from distance but once in a year. Overall, my experience was good even when my mobile app access got blocked, they helped me very quickly only with one email request.

### "Convenience"

March 26, 2026

5.0

Swiftlane is convenient to use. Other than potential technical issues, the app seems fine and with minimal effort.

Pros

The app is easy and convenient to use. It makes it easier to manage deliveries and guests when you're away. Notifications are easy to follow.

Cons

Sometimes the gate panels/tablets reset and require you to wait, either within the app or at the gate, for it to reboot. I think some visitors, especially delivery drivers, are confused as to what to press once they're at the gate. Minor concerns about data stored for facial recognition.

Pros

The system is secure and the customer service is accessible and quick to help however they can. I also enjoy the guest pin feature.

Cons
