### "Swiftlane is Game Changing"

April 12, 2026

5.0

A++++. If you are in the market, definitely checkout Swiftlane. I still cannot get over how much easier my life is now.

Pros

Swiftlane is game changing. The SwiftReader makes door access a delight and more importantly admin so intuitive and easy. I was completely surprised at how impressive their customer support team is. I don't think they sleep so they are always available if you have questions

Cons

None. It's the clear competitive winner out there. Make sure you talk to existing Swiftlane customers. They will share similar perspectives

### "Great Product"

May 18, 2026

5.0

I have had an overall great experience with Swiftlane. I like the interface and new video security feature.

Pros

I really like the Management and Resident interface. The facial recognition and video features are a plus.

Cons

They go down and need to be reset more often than ButterflyMx's. I am not sure why but would love that to be fixed.

### "Lousy Product and Sub-Par Customer Service"

May 17, 2026

1.0

The system look ok and has a potential to provide good service however, a product that cannot survive more that 3 months without a trouble, as well as sub-par customer service make this product expensive and not worth the investment.

Pros

Outdoor panel looks reasonably ok and easy to use. The capacity to add/remove/edit users and choose different access points is good. But nothing that other products are not providing.

Cons

The system is unreliable and needs to be re-set very often. If we can have 2 months with no problems to access the building or access points we are lucky. On top of this, customer service is as inefficient and inconsiderate as customer service can be. It took months of complaining about the constant need to re-set the system until it completely failed and then a month to solve the problem. This is neither safe nor fair for a building entry system.

### "Swiftlane Experience"

March 24, 2026

4.0

Overall the experience has been really good! I appreciate all of its features (i.e. customization, ease of use). With continued software updates Im hopeful all the bugs will be worked out so things run seamlessly.

Pros

I like several features of swiftlane: Overall, its easy to use, it didnt take long to get used to the interface once we had it installed. It is easy to set up specific codes for visitors and track when someone has used them. I like that you can unlock your door from your phone, see who you are letting in, and my partner can be alerted as well.

Cons

There have been some instances where we've had a frozen Swiftlane screen and no one could get in the building until it was fixed. Customer support does respond quickly, but it can take five to ten minutes to get the issue solved. It has not happened a lot, more in extreme cold weather.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing Swiftlane

I liked swiftlanes features, and a former tenant recommended it because they use it at their building

### "One and done set up convenience"

March 29, 2026

4.0

It's very convenient especiaslly with the facial recognition unlock. We've had past issues regarding our past buzzer system and Swiftlane resolved it.

Pros

Easy to use. Facial recognition is reliable. Guest codes for delivery drivers are pretty convenient.

Cons

We've had a few times where the system could not connect to our ground floor wifi and we had to resort to using our keys again. It coincided with the freezing temperatures so it was not often.

### "Swiftlane review."

March 26, 2026

4.0

Satisfactory. When the connection is there the system offers very good functionality including face recognition giving residents easy entry to the building.

Pros

When the system is up it meets most requirements for an intercom entry system. When the system goes down customer support lets you via email before you are aware of the problem. The email includes steps you can take to resolve the issue. Customer support stays with you via email (or phone) till the issue is resolved.

Cons

The system requires an ISP connection that is available 24/7. The ISP connection I have goes down two to three times a week. That is where the customer support comes in handy to get the system back up again.

### "Swiftlane is great so far!"

April 1, 2026

5.0

Overall we are very satisfied with Swiftlane. We like it a lot more than the typical doorbell system.

Pros

Swiftlane is easy to use. I like that we can create passcodes for vendors, visitors, etc. I also like that it sends a notification when someone uses a passcode. We are still pretty new with the system but so far it has worked well.

Cons

Sometimes it glitches but not often and I'm not sure if it has something to do with our wifi connection.

### "Swiftlane overall very satisfied"

May 6, 2026

5.0

It aligns with where buildings and security are going—smart, integrated, and user-friendly. The hardware looks sharp. It elevates the space instead of looking like an afterthought—important if you care about presentation and brand.

Pros

Swiftlane feels more like a tech product than a traditional access system—mobile-first, clean interface, and intuitive for both admins and users. The touchless entry is fast and reliable, which is a big differentiator. It’s not gimmicky—it improves flow, security, and convenience.

Cons

Sometimes the system goes offline and a reboot is needed. When this happens, a quick phone call is needed to diagnose the problem and it is quickly resolved.

Pros

### "Convenience"

March 26, 2026

5.0

Swiftlane is convenient to use. Other than potential technical issues, the app seems fine and with minimal effort.

Pros

The app is easy and convenient to use. It makes it easier to manage deliveries and guests when you're away. Notifications are easy to follow.

Cons

Sometimes the gate panels/tablets reset and require you to wait, either within the app or at the gate, for it to reboot. I think some visitors, especially delivery drivers, are confused as to what to press once they're at the gate. Minor concerns about data stored for facial recognition.

### "Great for Gates"

November 16, 2025

5.0

Overall I'm really happy with the system as it gives me a lot of options to give specific people access and keep others out. I can even have the gates open for several hours if I anticipate a high flow of traffic.

Pros

We use Swiftlane for our gates on property and it's a neat system to see who's at the gate before I open it. I can also create Visitor Pins for specific people coming and going which also helps me see when they are here. I do really appreciate that their customer support reaches out before I ever know about a problem and allows me to check things out quickly.

Cons

Sometimes the app on my phone doesn't get the video calls and only lets me know when I've missed the call. It has another option for phone calls instead of video, and it is much more reliable, but I don't get to see who's at the gate.

### "Feeling Safer with Swiftlane "

November 13, 2025

4.0

Overall, I am glad we have the Swiftlane system and do feel safer. I like that I can open using my face, phone or iwatch. Also enjoy that I can give delivery people or guests a code to enter the building. It is also nice to be able to open the doors no matter where I am. No more waiting for deliveries at home.

Pros

What I like best about Swiftlane is that I don’t need keys to open the doors to the building and have several options to open the doors and don’t have to be at home waiting on deliveries. I can open the doors no matter where I am.

Cons

What I don’t like is when the system is down, but the repairs are made quickly. My building and the doors are historic and sometimes the lock catches. But I guess that can’t be helped.

### "Great tool for apartment safety "

February 9, 2026

5.0

So far 10/10. App never goes down, never had to reach out to support. I'm very happy with it and I would reccomend to anyone.

Pros

Easy to use interface, can add pins for visitors. Can use bluetooth to unlock apt door if I forgot my keys.

Cons

There are no big cons to the system. The only thing I can think of is that if someone buzzes the door, and someone else answers and accepts, it will show in the app that you accepted the call and opened the door, even if it wasn't you.

### "Easy to use!"

March 6, 2026

5.0

Pros

How easy it is to use. The camera is pretty good at identifying me when opening the door. I like that you can make your own pin for guests to enter the building. The app is easy to use as well.

Cons

Sometimes the camera cannot identify me when I am trying to open the door, due to glare. Maybe if the camera had a shield it would be easier to recognize tenants?

May 6, 2025

Pros

The facial recognition capabilities of Swiftlane enable easy and contactless entry, which is especially useful if one has groceries or other objects in their hands.

Cons

There are issues with the recognition of faces in the low light conditions; this causes extra time to wait for access.

### "Reliable product"

April 20, 2022

5.0

Extremely satisfied with the product performance as well as customer service, they follow up immediately when there is an issue.

Pros

Since it is a software that I use daily to enter my apartment building garage, there has been little to no downtime in the last year that I have been using it, so I am extremely satisfied with it.

Cons

It looks like can only open the garage door when I am close to it and not from my apartment in case I want to let someone in.
