Pros Being able to barcode track individual inventory items has been monumental in setting up our supply chain and inventory tracking. Cons Integration into the scientific field was a bit lacking, but this may be due to our company not having access to other modules. Cons We have integrations with other library software that make the connection to TME break pretty regularly, which is frustrating. We plan to upgrade to a more modern library management system in 2022 & hope that will improve the overall experience, particularly this ongoing issue. Tracking where spare parts are consumed provides better insight into equipment failures. We can assess how long since the last part was changed, and understand if a given tool is subject to more frequent parts consumption. I'd also like to give a heartfelt thanks for the team at MASS Group. When we transitioned to TME Inventory Management they supported a customize upload process, and provided good feedback on how we should configure our data to take advantage of TME features. The MASS group team has consistently provided excellent support for both the TME Inventory Management and TME CMMS software packages Pros TME Inventory Management Software has four significant benefits. 1) Seamless integration with the TME CMMS 2) Tracking of serialized items 3) Ability to issue parts to and from assets. 4) The MASS Group team has a good knowledge of both their product and industry best practice. They provided excellent guidance on how to best configure data to make the most of our installation. Cons Some of the submenus are not configurable. Ideally we could configure the information in a submenu to meet our needs. For example the supplier submenu lists the manufacturer ID instead of the name. This requires and additional look-up when ordering parts. We get emails informing us on what is past its safety stock limits so we have visibility on inventory. Pros Ease of tracking a given batch number to its transactions. The automatic report trigger reorder of materials that have breached their safety stock level. Cons Adding column for expiration date on the quantities submodule. Having a more transparent way of seeing the size configuration of materials on hand (not just the total using base unit of measure).
