Pros \- Regular email notifications. - Single location for all application attachments. - The "circulate for signatures" and automatic issue is useful. Cons \- The BoQ/Activity schedule/Variation section is very clunky; full of interlocks (refusing entirely legitimate inputs) and lacking anything like the functionality that a spreadsheet offers. - If you're an "advanced QS" you'll find yourself doing Excel assessments, fudging the same into PayApps and pasting the comment "see attached spreadsheet" an awful lot. Pros Claims do not take longer, easy way to avoid Cons Subbies have to pay the subscription, and the majority complaint. Additionally, there is no option to re-send the payapps invitation, so after set up subbies in payapps, one month after if they are going to claim, many of them has already lost the e-mail, I have had to contact payapss team several times to ask to resend the invite. Pros The monthly claims feature is a great organisational tool to follow the completion of the project and any variations claimed by subcontractors. Cons Setting up the project could be easier, creating a way to organise variations more clearly would help some project where the volume creates a lot of confusion.
