February 8, 2024 4.0 We use pVerify every week and it's such a great resource for anyone looking to verify insurance benefits! Pros I liked that, unlike other platforms, we can access all insurance plans across the nation. As a national practice it's hard to find something that does this. Cons I do think the platform could be more visually accessible for those with different disabilities. It's very "monotone". Alternatives considered [Availity](https://www.capterra.com/p/68854/Availity/) Reason for choosing pVerify pVerify offered more plans that Availity did, including Medicare. Several personnel changes. An overall waste of time and resources. Pros Had it worked, it would have been quicker and required less employees. Cons It was a horrible set-up process. It took 6 months, and they weren't able to deliver what was promised. We finally ended our business agreement, before the actual services began. Pros We like the bulk upload feature and will soon launch API integration. Cons The manual check process resets every time you run a check. It would be nice to have default settings. Switched from [CollaborateMD](https://www.capterra.com/p/81299/CollaborateMD-PMS/) CollaborateMD allows eligibility checking, but we have to check one by one. pVerify's bulk check process saves time and money. It is pretty accurate and helps to streamline our verification process. Pros Verification process is easy and efficient. January 30, 2024 3.0 There have been several glitches getting started. The customer support has been great and quickly and efficiently resolving these. Pros Batch processing of eligibility checks. Being able to verify all insurances in one place. Cons It isn't set up properly for mental health. In particular, it tells us there is a deductible even if it doesn't apply to mental health. And there are similar issues around copays. It is far from robust and we are still often falling back to other sources for eligibility checks. Reason for choosing pVerify It was recommended by some others whose opinions I respected.
