Excellent program, great all rounder with lots of features, always being improved/developed and fantastic support team

Pros

Excellent array of features, very knowledgeable team and short wait time. Dashboard is very helpful for managing bookings and filters.

Cons

slow roll out of some features after they are advertised as coming. Some more complex support tickets take many weeks with no updates and require follow up.

With the switch over from guesty to Homhero, my experience has been wonderful. The changeover process was tracked and monitored and they made sure that everything was in place before going live.

Pros

I love that they have support always available. The customer support are all super friendly and helpful. Danny, and management are always responsive and happy to take advice from our side of using the program.

Cons

There is Nothing that i least like about this system, they have come up with everything, and have it sorted.

I’ve worked with Homhero across multiple implementations and businesses, and in every case it’s become the backbone of the operation. What stands out most is the quality of the support team, along with their ongoing commitment to evolving the platform to meet the ever-changing needs of operators and the short-term rental industry.

Pros

Homhero makes it easy to manage everything in one place, with seamless channel connectivity and highly flexible automated guest communications. The integrated direct booking site and owner portal add real value, improving both revenue control and transparency. Overall, it’s a scalable platform that grows with your portfolio while reducing manual workload.

Cons

A revamped UX would be nice but I know that's coming. Also looking forward to them releasing their new Trust Accounting module.

Our experience with Homhero has been positive from the very outset. I have used quite a large number of PMS' in my career and Homhero is one of the very best. The product itself is excellent and it is backed by exceptional training and support.

Pros

A lot of consideration goes into the UI for Homhero. The layout is intuitive and easy to pick up quickly. The support staff are exceptional.

Cons

The need to use RMS for Trust Accounting and property set up. RMS is clunky, out of date and the UI is poor. Nothing is intuitive in RMS.

We’ve been using Homhero for our holiday rental business for years now, and overall it’s been a solid experience. The platform has significantly helped streamline our operations, centralise guest communications, and automate tasks that used to take up a lot of our team’s time. Homhero continues to improve with regular updates, and the support team is responsive and genuinely helpful.

Pros

Easy to Use & Clean Interface Homhero’s dashboard is intuitive — even new team members can get up to speed quickly. The layout and navigation make daily tasks straightforward. Centralised Communication Hub All guest messages from different channels are pulled into one inbox. Automation & Templates Built-in automation for guest messages, check-in instructions, and review requests has improved consistency and guest experience, while cutting down repetitive work. Responsive Support Team Whenever we’ve needed help, the Homhero support team has been quick to respond and assist with setup or troubleshooting.

Cons

There are a few areas where functionality feels basic compared to larger PMS systems. for example, advanced reporting/custom dashboards and deeper integrations with some niche tools.

We have been using HH now since 2019, the overall user experience is great. Homhero continue to grow/evolve with the ever changing market and trends.

Pros

The ease of every day PM management software. This software provides a user friendly experience for all users of our team, ranging from beginners to more advances property managers. Support team is helpful.

Cons

The template schedule email formatting is not hugely user friendly - I will generally create this and copy and paste into the templates/schedules.

Pros

HomHero is a user-friendly, web-based program that is easy to navigate and requires minimal training. The local support team is a standout feature, with staff who are not only highly knowledgeable but also very friendly and approachable, making interactions pleasant and stress-free. Response times are very quick, and the availability of phone support is invaluable for day-to-day operations. The software also integrates seamlessly with major OTAs, helping to streamline bookings, reduce manual entry, and improve overall efficiency.

Cons

Trust accounting is currently managed through a separate module rather than being fully integrated into the core system. While this adds an extra step to workflows, HomHero has advised that an integrated trust accounting system is due to be released soon, which is an exciting development and expected to significantly improve functionality.

Pros

HomHero is a really intuitive program that is easy to navigate. The support staff are fantastic with quick help. The access to step by step online help guides is fantastic - especially when completing the 'every now and then' tasks.

Cons

Not a negative - but I would like if HomHero was able to connect to Expedia / Agoda OTAs as our property \[sensitive content hidden\] are interested in these sites.

In a word - fantastic! From the very beginning when we first inquired, to implementation, to day-to-day operational questions, to the continual upgrades, it just gets better and better

HomHero knows the short-term rental market and what it takes to have a PMS that works. Love that they are Australian-owned and based, with staff who understand what a short-term accommodation business is and needs to operate successfully. Love that it is the complete package

Cons

Cannot wait for the integrated accounting so that analytics and reporting are customisable and give us the data we need
