Maybe taking measurements on images (mean, max, min pixel intensity) could be simpler. Il software mette a disposizione vari tool per eseguire segmentazione e creazione di modelli 3D. Buona la presenza di alcuni dataset precaricati sulla quale è possibile fare pratica ed esplorare le funzionalità delnsoftware Cons Non permette una gestione efficiente della mesh del modello 3D creato. Per ottenere un buon risultato finale pertanto risulta indispensabile usufruire di un software terzo per la modifica e ottimizzazione della mesh. La GUI è molto sintetizzata e non molto intuitiva. Spesso si va incontro a crash improvvisi quindi consiglio di salvare spesso i progressi. After teaching 3d printing classes for a few years our older students were quite proficient and we explored this as an option for creating more advanced models, specifically for use with a biomedical engineering unit. The students picked it up in no time! Cons It is a free software so there is no help desk or other resources to rely on when something doesn't work and you can't figure out why.
