August 16, 2022 4.0 Pros I've been looking for a site for my online courses for me to sell instead of third party sites. Until I found Uteach I hadn't seen anything which I would be able to manage by myself. But Uteach is so easy. I've had no problems uploading and sorting my videos and documents. My courses aren't live yet, but I have no doubt I'll be able to get everything else done. Cons I would like to be able to add PDFs to the video lectures as I think that looks neater than 2 separate episodes. Pros After reading some reviews about Uteach, we decided to get a licence for our own use - currently experimenting with different cases - so far it seems to be good, it's easy to work with. Has decent funtionalities and makes the process of publishing/selling courses easy. It simplifies the course creation a lot. From the many different designs to the custom admin page, everything is included and perfect. The different templates are easy to use and are available for every type of category. From sports to medicine, everything is there. The admin dashboard makes it very easy to manage and administer the users. Best of all, everything is hosted under my name and is recognizable as my own website. Recommendable for everyone! Le design de l'interface est très soigné et celle-ci peut être aisément traduite en français pour l'utilisateur final. Pros L'interface offre un design moderne et élégant qui permet d'accéder intuitivement et aisément aux nombreuses fonctions, celles qui permettent aux concepteurs de développer le contenu de leurs cours (sous forme de cursus d'apprentissage en plusieurs étapes, de leçons illustrées d'images et de vidéos, de quiz interactifs et de certificats de réussite) et celles qui permettent aux visiteurs de naviguer sur un site riche de cours méthodiquement construits, d'articles de blog et même de produits à vendre. C'est une grande satisfaction de constater que le contenu pédagogique que l'on prend tant de temps à rédiger ou à filmer est mis en valeur par la plateforme Uteach. Cons Je ne vois pas de point faible, si ce n'est que la plateforme est encore jeune et qu'elle devra tenir ses promesses. It takes so much time and effort just to build it. Now with Uteach it houses everything in one location and with the ease of use template. I was able to get my setup done within days. Love all the features that are built in Uteach, like quizzes, certificates, and payment gateway with PayPal and stripe. Cons As it's a relatively new LMS there were minor bugs that you might encounter. In my case, images were not able to be uploaded into the live classes section. The amazing support team was able to reply to my challenge within hours to get that resolved, thumbs up to them. One other thing is the Logo section of the certificate, which is rather small 100 x 100 , could be good if I can adjust them. Uteach delivered what it promises. Pros Uteach has a great lineup of features. Of particular note is the ability to sell live training events with a calendar that populates in the user's portal. Also the certificate system is a nice add on. We were manually making certificates for all our students before we found uteach. We're very excited to let uteach take care of the certificate management going forward. The ability to quickly put together the products and the landing page is also great. Cons The user interface for our admin had a little bit of a learning curve... But we're getting the hang of it. The student portal currently shows sections for each type of product / course even if the student doesn't have any of those products or even if we're not selling any of them. This makes the student portal a little less tidy than it could otherwise be. I love that my content is all in one place for clients and members to learn. The pre written email templates are great to walk them through general issues that will come up. The team is front and center with providing the admin/me with assistance as needed. Cons The learning curve of setting up the site. I am probably making it harder than it needs to be as I am used to using Elementor. But I am watching the Youtube videos that Uteach has provided and I am sure I will be up and running shortly.
