Overall, I would be relatively happy to use this platform on a daily basis - as long as they are open to making some improvements. Pros The AI Assistant tool in Vista Social. The Advanced Mode. The listening tab. Cons 1\. Right off the bat, I think the social account connection feature right at the start could be improved. Once I had connected one account, the connect screen came up again to connect another account, it didn’t say that the accounts I’d already connected were connected. It said ‘connect’, which could be confusing for some people. 2. When scheduling a post, I found it difficult to deselect the platforms that I \*didn't\* want to post on. The default option was for my post to go out on all platforms, but I will often schedule my posts separately. It took me a fair few minutes to figure out how to alter this. I had to click the arrow on the left hand side to bring up a list of my connected profiles, and then deselect it. I think that needs to be a lot more obvious. 3. The reports tab was solid, but I have seen better laid-out reports on other platforms like Metricool. These are quite simple reports in comparison. I understand that you are trying to create a simpler platform, so I imagine that a more simple report layout like yours will be really useful to some people. It needs few hours of setting up and getting the hang of it and when you are done, it's a breeze. Ease of use and great user experience means we use more of it every month and explore many of the hidden gems. Cons I think there should be a freemium version with only perhaps one or two profiles so many of the individuals could try it for longer period of time and can always switch when they are in need of more. Pros I've tried several social media management platforms in the past, but none compare to Vista Social. One of the standout features for me is the Publishing tool. It allows me to easily find, collaborate on, schedule, and even boost content across all my social channels. The visual scheduling and post previewing features have made my content planning process incredibly efficient. I love the Engagement tool, it's allowing me to manage messages, comments, and reviews all in one place. It's made interacting with my audience easy. The Vista Page is the best, can make a customizable link-in-bio and landing page feature that has helped me drive traffic and generate leads effortlessly. Cons Listening tool, I don't really need it but it is cool too, it helps me stay on top of relevant conversations and trends with timely alerts and advanced filtering. Whether freelancers or part of agencies, the platform is handy for social media managers looking to organize their projects, considering locations and time zones. 1. It has a list of various social media channels—the classics Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest, Twitter, and TikTok—but also Trip Advisor, Tumblr, Reddit, TrustPilot, etc. that Buffer, for example, doesn't yet support. 2. Performance is exceptionally responsive, with smooth navigation and no lagging between tabs. 3. I consider the built-in AI for generating content a big time saver because it allows switching between tones of voice and editing or rephrasing posts. I am excited about it because I usually do this manually on ChatGPT, as I am very picky and don't always like specific words and phrases. This feature allows me to experiment more quickly. 4. I appreciate the social listening tool to track conversations about brands, competitors, and relevant industry trends. It's a great addition to such a platform. 5. I was impressed that there is an easy-to-use landing page builder that tracks analytics. Excellent features that simplify the work of social media managers. Cons A small thing, but I am always focused on project management and think the tasks and ideas can be in one place. The tasks can be more flexible in adding categories. But they are a pain to schedule! I LOVE that Vista Social allows you to schedule Reels, and edit thumbnails, AND they have popular audios on the platform that you can add to videos that you upload. I used their AI caption tool and was honestly surprised with how well it was able to match tone. And I toggled between different tones for the same basic sentence "Excited for new braces". The AI caption tool gave me great ideas and potential hashtags to use. When it comes to content planning, I use this to help brainstorm ideas to keep content fresh and not stale. Cons I think reporting could be better. The reports it spits out has way too much white space, so I wouldn't feel confident just downloading and sending to my clients. I also think they could work on the Canva integration a bit. This isn't a bad thing, as we just design things in Canva anyway. And then upload to schedule. But if they could find a way where we don't need to take the additional step to download + upload, and can just upload from Canva directly, that would be a big plus! They have tutorials for everything which makes it easier. I love the design of the dashboard, it is simple and not much is going on. It is also very organized, and I love how you can work together with your teammates in it. Cons I am not very impressed with its hashtag feature, I wish they put the search volume of each hashtag, and hope that they can provide more specific hashtags rather than generic ones. Pros I've been in the copywriting field for quite a few years and, more recently, have branched out into social media management. I've used a couple of other SMM tools in the past. The main thing that stands out to me about Vista Social is that it's much more of an "all-in-one" tool than other platforms. I think the interface for scheduling content is super user-friendly, and I liked how I could clearly see all of my scheduled content on the calendar. Cons I personally had a few learning curves with Vista Social. It takes some time to get used to the platform, and for me, it wasn't an instant success. That said, once I got used to it, I believe it's user-friendly. I think people who aren't very familiar with these kinds of tools may have some learning bumps early on. My only other critique would be with the content creation. Some of the content turned out to be very generic or dry. That could be because I need to learn how to prompt the AI tool better though. As a social media manager, i find it extremely important to repurpose the content in different chanels and Vista Social made this process so much easier. I was also pleasantly surprised with little features like the possibility of seeing holidays and adding locations. This tool has many things which other tools don't. This is great also considering that the price is competitive. An absolute highlight of this tool for me is the automatic suggestion of trending sounds. Without this tool, you need to spend a lot of time researching trending music, checking creators who share updates on that or purchase expensive tools/subscriptions.
