When I need quick graphic design or fast data entry accomplished, it’s often there. You know how much time you waste sifting through the duds. And attempting to coordinate sometimes feels like pulling teeth, especially with varying time zones. I like that I do not have to hire an employee and can just enlist these freelance services on an as-needed basis. I like the communication channels that Fiverr has in place to make sure that the buyer and freelance agent are both on the same page and cooperative. Pros It is essentially an open marketplace for purchasing or selling services. It is mostly a freelance space where you can search based on your budget and preferences and find someone who can perform the work you are looking for. Typically, this is digital types of help like in website building, graphic and sound design, video editing, and such. Pros Vast and majority of vendors that offer a lot of services. Cons There isn't any kind of quality control nor is there tech support very helpful. They force you to stay within the business to utilize in-house credit because even when a website is delivered that isn't working or malfunctioning it is still deemed as delivered and the service requirement was fulfilled so refunds can't be given. I can find a specialist usually within 5 - 10 minutes to do the job, and make the deal. I was only disappointed once in the quality of what I received, however the rest of the time I have been ecstatic and paid a fraction of the price of what I would have elsewhere. It sometimes takes patience to find the right freelancer at the right price, but I assure you - it's worth it! Cons Sometimes there is a big disparity on price for the same item - you have do your due diligence and make sure you're finding the right job for a fair price for everyone. It is very user friendly and easy to navigate Many freelancers on Fiverr offer fast delivery options and quick turn around time . you are able to read reviews on Fiverr on anyone or whatever service you might require , thus helping you to make an informed decision . Cons There can be inconsistency in the quality of freelancers . Finding a reliable, high-quality freelancer can take time and research. Freelancers can be very competitive . This can make it challenging for high-quality freelancers to stand out, and they may feel pressured to lower their prices. Fiverr charges are constantly climbing which can add up as well as turn off potential clients , I was turned off after experiencing constant price increase . however after thorough investigation of the constant increase i understand why some fees were charged. subsequently it was slightly reduced and all was happy .Some freelancers misrepresent their skills or use stock images in portfolios. Although reviews help, there’s still a risk of working with an unqualified freelancer. Pros You can literally find a service provider to do literally any kind of task or Gig as they call them , for any kind of price range starting at only $5 on up depending on the amount of quality/ quantity you require Cons The only downside to Fiverr is that most of the service providers are from other countries so although most can communicate in English , sometimes there may be small details that get lost in translation. I used their resolution center once and their team was pretty quick and effective. Pros There are services not offered on Upwork, or at least with a more extensive talent pool compare to other places. You can find great people pretty quick, and that can really speed up projects. Cons It's more transactional, and quality can actually be lower than on other platforms. Their payment system works fine but it's also a little less usable compared to Upwork when it comes to long term contracts (works totally fine for one-off projects). Cons Interface is complicated, can't find my previous orders since they are hidden at the end of communication chain. The communication is tough to follow especially if many orders are in place. Sometimes it is necessary to hire multiple freelancers on the platform to find one that produces acceptable quality work. Cons There customer service is essentially nonexistent. There also appears to be very little monitoring of Fiverr with regards to the quality of freelancers on the platform.
