I wouldnt go back to the way I did it before I used and.co. Pros I love how everything is in one spot. I use to use 4 different softwares to complete everything I now use and.co for. The time tracking feature is so simple to use. I love how I can make a quick invoice from the time that I have tracked. I spend less time now on invoicing and more time making money. Cons The only thing I wish they has was the ability to have multiple timers running at once. I do have a few other freelancers that work under me and it would be nice if they could track their time using and.co. Firstly, it's a \*FREE\* product that allows you to conveniently and easily track your progress, tasks, invoices, and manage all of your income and expenses. It's super easy to use, the design is beautiful and crisp, the mobile app is near perfect. There also seems to be consistnet updates and they're always bringing in new features. Cons AND CO doesn't necessarily suit some of my freelancing tasks. For example, I write on a per-word rate and I complete somewhere between 20-35 tasks per months. It would be great if I could easily record how many words I composed at the end of each task and it calculated the income for me so that I can invoice correctly. I also have the invoices integrated with Stripe for electronic payment. Like most consultants, I want to spend as little time as possible on administrative tasks, and AND CO helps me do that. Cons It took a little while to get used to the project flow, but once you get over that it's pretty smooth sailing. I would like the ability to round up hours (15 or 30 minute minimums), but other than that it works very well compared to other paid solutions I've tried. Pros This software does contracts, invoicing and time tracking which are the main features I need. It has a great UI and I can also do everything on the mobile app which is convenient. I like being able to send reminders for my invoices and I like that it helps me walk through the contracts I send so I understand the legal jargon. Cons Not many cons if any. My client wanted my hours in hours:minutes when this platform has the time in decimals so I have to do some converting, but that is my client's issue really. I hate that they switched to a paid structure and that now its more expensive than the quickbooks I used to have. Pros I found out about AndCo when they got bought by Fiver and I tried it out and eventually switched from quickbooks. For starters it was free and basically did everything I needed. I ended up saving money by switching as well obtaining a few handy new features such as the ability to track when my clients open the invoices. Cons I wish the they had a section where you could track outstanding invoices from a client. What I liked about quickbooks was that when I sent an invoice it would show pending balance and update the total on the new invoice so that it reflected the old balance as well. July 18, 2018 5.0 Saves time on accounting and sending proposals and contracts! Pros One of the main reasons I started using AndCo was the online approval and digital signing of project proposals. Everything else came as a massive bonus and now I couldn't imagine working without it. Cons Some extra features could still be added IMO - but whenever I suggest them to the support team they reply super quickly to suggest a way around it, or pass it on to the developers. I would like the ability to add another 'profile' or invoice templates, as my income is spread across a range of work. For instance, I'm mainly a digital designer, but also a event technician and also a performing musician. All goes to the same account - but needs to appear to be different businesses! Always cheerful and happy to help Cons As a fairly new service it still lacks quite a few invoicing features that Id like to see going forward such as automated payment reminders with editable email messages, timers on a client basis rather than project i.e so I can log time with a client that is billable. Hourly rates tied to clients rather than manually typing in. These are somewhat luxuries though and features are being added all the time. I first started using AND CO because it was a free alternative to FreshBooks (they've since switched to a fremium model at a reasonable price). The variety of functions that it serves makes it well worth the monthly expense however I will be paying more attention to their quality now that I'm paying for it. Pros I primarily use the excellent invoicing and proposal system and appreciate the integrated online payments. Recurring subscriptions are also very useful as is time tracking even though I don't use them much. Expense tracking also integrates with my bank accounts and cards which makes expense tagging very easy. Cons The proposals and contracts could have different aesthetic templates to make them a bit easier to read for customers. I'd also love if they added mileage tracking because then I could centralize my entire expense tracking. However, I made a couple mistakes and lost access to my account in the first few days. When I tried to get help from Customer Service, they asked for my username and email address, which I had already given more than once, in the same email thread. They even claimed they couldn't find my account and asked for some form of proof that it existed so I sent them a screenshot of my account dashboard. The next response was an acknowledgement that I seemed to be having problems and if I could provide my username and email address, they'd be happy to help. Again, the entire history is contained in a single email thread. Pros I was pretty excited because Workplace seemed to have exactly what I needed. All the right features in one place, relatively easy to use, and the price was unbeatable. Unfortunately, things went south very quickly. Cons Sadly, my experience with Customer Service was incredibly disappointing. After providing my account information multiple times and even sending screenshots of current activity, they could not find my account in their system. That doesn't inspire confidence. Tracking time was awesome and it has gotten even better with new releases. If you are self employed or a freelancer you MUST have this utility" October 12, 2017 5.0 This program is quickly changing how I conduct my business, and is easily making me more organized - not to mention the fact that I feel much more professional by using it. The days of forgetting to enter work or bill a client for something small are over! Pros This application was extremely simple to get up and running, and within minutes it was custom tailored to my personal business and way of doing things. Acess to support and help is only a click away and responses are incredibly fast. The templates and automated systems make things that used to take me tons of time to create and track simple in comparison now. I get reminders on how and when to bill/invoice my clients, and creating new projects is a snap. Cons My ONLY negative comment about this platform, which took a while to think of, is that setting up and invoicing a new client for a quick (and possibly ONLY) invoice or session is a bit akward. Sometimes you do a job quick and you just need to get paid without creating a project, which is the only item I found a little lacking. Besides that, it has the necessary tools a freelancer requires: project management, task management, client management, and time tracking. The latter is the most important aspect for me as I am working with clients who prefer to be charged by the hour. This means I no longer have to track time and calculate the total cost for a task manually. This also provides the visibility a client might need. Other than that, the web app also has an easy invoicing tool. All one needs to do is choose a project and how you want to invoice it, review, then send. Invoices have integrated payment buttons already so clients can easily pay through PayPal or other available payment options. As for their support, I have not tried contacting them myself but I receive emails from them sometimes reminding me that they are easily reachable whenever I need assistance. Pros The best feature of And.co is the price- it is free for most features, and for my freelance work the free tier meets all of my expectations. I'm able to keep track of everything that I need like invoices, expenses, and income in one place, and with simple design. Cons I find the contract and proposal templates to be fairly limiting, and don't allow me the amount of customization that I prefer to really make my proposals stand out from the crowd as professional and excellent. I am not familiar with how to use them properly for when you have ongoing invoices that are usually the same. For my company, each invoice is usually different/custom, so I have never truly taken the time to learn this feature.
