I had numerous files of proposals and invoices scattered through different folders and hard drives. AndCo gave me the opportunity to consolidate everything in nice package. I can monitor my business at a glance and concentrate on what I'm best at – designing. Pros What I like about the software is the features it gave me as a freelance designer. I love how everything integrates together. I can do project timers, create and send out proposals and invoices, to even simple to-do lists. Everything is front and center in neatly designed user-interface. Another bonus of the app is the accommodating service team. They are even open to feature requests from users. Cons When I stated using the software, there was indeed a learning curve to get through. But after that, and with constant updates and improvements. Pros This product is simple but has enough features to meet the need of freelancers at a price they can afford (free!) From proposals to contracts to invoices, it can help you maintain a professional image while streamlining your workflow and keeping you organized. You can also track your billable time and your income and expenses. Cons The contract template has limited customization options. If you don't have a contract template, this will be great. If you had your lawyer create a custom document for you, this system allow you to create a custom contract from scratch. The bookkeeping module is very limited which is to be expected but it should be sufficient for the needs of creative freelancers such as web designers, writers, etc. Customer support is via chat, the degree of responsiveness varies greatly and months later I have yet to get a reply to feedback that I provided that they had requested via email. I hate dealing with customer service — as I'm sure most people do. And Co changes that feeling. With an embedded chat option, I can fire off recommendations and questions, and they quickly answer. When they say "That's a good idea. I'll let our developers know." they actually mean it. Truly an outstanding product and experience. Pros As someone who focused on doing work and struggled with the business side of things, And Co helped change that all. I'm so glad I found this at the beginning of my freelance career. It has helped me easily track time, create projects, invoice, and keep tabs on how much I've made throughout the year. When stuck, or if I have an improvement recommendation, their customer service reps are truly unsurpassed. I recommend And Co to all my friends who freelance — and I've even gotten some agencies to use it for their daily needs. Cons I'd like to think I was an early adapter of this program. I have seen impressive changes throughout the year I've used it. What I initially thought weren't good changes ended up being great in the end when I understood them. Customer support is the best and it's a full-feature site that really gets the needs of freelancers. One of the best parts is the contract options. Such a great feature! Cons I do think it could be slightly more intuitive and perhaps there could be easier ways to access certain areas, like tasks for example (a tab that clearly indicates TASKS, rather than just "My Desk" but that's personal preference). And It would be ideal to have the option to download proposals as PDFs. I think that's a big one. Everything that goes out to the client, whether it's a proposal or a contract or the invoice should be downloadable as a PDF, not just sent via email. Some clients are not up to date, unfortunately. Fiber made it very simple to locate who you needed and to shop between people to find someone that would fit exactly what you were looking for. If I needed AT shirt design I could scroll through multiple people, And look at their different work to find out if their style would be a good fit for me. When I needed some SEO work done on my Website it was easy to locate someone in my price point who could do what I needed done. I've even found multiple things that would help my business that I didn't know was available on Fiverr as I was scrolling through that they recommended to me. November 12, 2018 5.0 AND CO was quite literally the solution to my problems - I'd been doing work as a freelance designer/one-man design studio for a few years, and had been tracking projects via Excel/Google Sheets and doing up invoices manually, which could be very time consuming. I was searching around for good invoicing and project tracking apps, and AND CO turned out to be the best out of all I tried (even the paid ones), and amazingly, its completely free. I can't thank the AND CO team enough for providing this service. And their customer support is always amazing and extremely pleasant to deal with. I'd recommend this app to all freelancers - it's a no-brainer! Pros Ease of invoicing, tracking projects, help with writing up solid contracts and proposals, sending them to clients easily and professionally. It just makes everything very seamless and easy to use, yet look professional at the same time. Cons Would like some additional features/options like not needing to send an invoice but still be able to track payments as some clients don't require invoices (I end up having to "send" an invoice to myself just to be able to track the payment), also more options for editing the layout and look of the invoices (currently my logo looks huge on the invoice received by my clients). Pros has fantastic support. I can invoice a project linked to a client or just the client itself. Multiple ways on how to charge clients on projects. If I track time for a project you can just click on it later and it creates new entries. Cons the way it tracks my expenses... if linked to a project it will be added automaticly to the invoice. August 31, 2019 5.0 A must-have tool for any freelancer willing to get jobs and payment quickly. The only tool which includes most of the needed tool. Pros And co is specially designed for a freelancer in mind. It is a great tool for me, from tracking a task to get paid directly is great and very simple to use. I heardly have any problem using it. I have used it in past when it was completely free and everything is unlocked. Now current only one client is active for the free plan which is ok and Archive client when they finished everything. This helps me to concentrate on everything. Time logging for billing is most of the time accurate and proof that I have worked. Invoicing and payment gateway charge is also not a high, it's good. Cons I have nothing to say against the and.co, yes it really needs money to manage all the software and servers they provide their services on. This app checks all boxes I was looking for in a business management software! Pros I love that you can set up clients, projects, tasks, and time each task and it applies to its respective project. Then from there you can invoice it all! All for free. It's awesome. I also really love the subscription feature, that is huge for my hosting clients. I also love the shoebox and forwarding docs to it from email. Cons There are small tweaks I would love to see in the future. I would like if clients/projects could be assigned a color or something so it's easier to look over my list at a glance.
