And for the limited amount we use, the cost is extremely minimal. My overall experience was exactly what I wanted it to be: quick and easy. Thank you Geocodio! Pros Geocodio is a very capable service, with a well documented API. Integration was easy and fast, and the data helped us improve the accuracy of pin placement on a custom map. Cons No complaints of note. Often times the user interface of API tools can be treated as an afterthought, but Geocodio's is simple and easy to navigate. I’ve used similar services in the past, but none compare to what Geocodio provides. Overall, we are very impressed with the offering and would recommend it to any company that needs accurate, fast geolocation data for properties within the U.S. Pros The service was quick and easy to get started with, and the documentation is excellent, with clear examples that made integration straightforward. Cons None that I can think of. Overall, I would like to see the service expand beyond the U.S. and Canada to include key countries such as the U.K. and other EU countries. Geocodio provided the best value, performance, and accuracy of all the services we've tested and we've been happy customers for almost three years. Pros Geocodio has easy to use tools and APIs that are fast and affordable. We work with public utilities in multiple states, so features like appending the time zone are a nice added value. Cons On a few occasions, we have found small inaccuracies in some of the data. Geocodio's support team has been extremely responsive to reports of inaccuracies and made corrections quickly. Geocodes are spot on and I get results fast. Excellent customer service as well. Pros Very easy to use, fast and priced just right! I have never had an issue with any of their geocodes and the service is always available and fast. Cons Nothing. There is seriously nothing negative I can think of about this company. I have used a lot of geocoding services and this one is the best. It has created efficiencies among our ops team who previously had to manually geocode or use slow free tools that took a lot of time and effort. This tool has given us the best overall experience of any of the solutions we reviewed to help with our growing location based advertising business Pros Geocodio is extremely easy to use for anyone. The flexible upload options make geocoding projections super easy to format. The speed of the tool is extremely quick, helping to geocode large lists within minutes. The pricing is also very fair, as we transitioned from free tools that were clunky and slow, and I'm happy to pay for the ease of use as this blows the free optoins out of the park. Cons So far, I have not encourntered any negatives. This is my 3rd project since discovering the tool and have been extremely happy each time. I have never had an issue with their work. Would highly recommend them for all geocoding needs. Pros I have used Geocodio for many years and for many projects. The service is a quick and reliable way to geocode addesses for latitude and longitude. The processing can also add other demograhic data that would be hard to find otherwise. And, of course, you can reverse lat and lon data to addresses. Cons After having tried many other geocoding services there is nothing about Geocodio that I would describe as a con. It’s been consistently reliable and efficient, and easily the best provider I’ve worked with for this type of data. Pros Seamless data upload and a very intuitive interface. The ability to preview results before processing is especially useful, and the option to append Census data, including from earlier geographies, is a major advantage for research workflows. Cons The selection of layers could be more targeted (e.g., the ability to request only census block-level data), and more flexible pricing for narrower requests would be helpful. However, it would be nice if the program also automated the other parts of the process. Yet, it was easy enough to copy and paste the formula they provided into Excel. I'm sure that if your address upload is a mess it won't be as accurate. But as long as you have your ducks in a row, its fast and easy. Pros If you don't need to do massive amounts of address verification, right now, you can run these for free! I needed to try and find the US county for a set of addresses. It worked perfectly. Cons I don't have much negative to say. It could be EVEN faster? I think you'd have to have a severe lack of patience not to be pleased with an automated tool that finds address info in a matter of minutes or seconds. There are other tools that do something like this as well. I guess that could be a negative. I find it very easy to use, and the results are spot on! Thank you for building this tool and making it available for the masses. Pros The GEOCODIO website is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. The Dashboard makes it easy to locate both recent and past projects, which is especially helpful for managing ongoing work. I really appreciate the “New Upload” and “Past Uploads” features—they make it simple to reuse and reference previous uploads without starting from scratch. Additionally, the ability to map codes directly within the platform is a great touch and adds extra functionality that enhances the overall experience. While there's always room for improvement in any product, Geocodio's current services are hard to beat. Pros Geocodio is the easiest geocoding service I've every used and as far as I can tell, it has also offers high accuracy. It's also very cost effective. Cons There were some errors in the Census identifier packages early on, so I decided to do my own intersections with Census boundary files using ArcGIS. I am happy, just wish I could get more tokens for free. But I am cheap. Pros I like this product because it offers Geo Coding and census type data in one place, I am particularly glad to get the Education, Income and Age for each address. It seems to work every time with no problems. Cons It took a bit of work to get the api key working in my project, but I am not a coder, and relied on AI to do it. Got it done. I also love that it will include additional census fields for demographics, housing, etc. for free and easily as well. Their website guides you thru the process to convert your data and the entire process, from upload to review to geocoded output only takes a minute or two. We have a map of incidents on our site and periodically we have to add a few hundred new incidents which require geo locations. We use Geocodio to add those for us. Pros Easy to use. Quite comprehensive. The accuracy is great even when the addresses are formatted differently. Cons Can't say i have anything negative to say.
