We mainly used it for time tracking, employee activity monitoring, project and task tracking, and preparing timesheets for payroll. I would recommend Apploye to small and medium-sized remote teams, IT services companies, agencies, and startups that need straightforward time tracking and activity monitoring at a reasonable price. Larger organizations with more complex HR, payroll, or integration requirements may need a more comprehensive solution. Pros The biggest advantage for us was the price. Apploye provided the monitoring and time tracking features we needed without the cost of some of the larger platforms. I also found the web dashboard clean and easy to navigate, especially when reviewing activity reports and timesheets. The offline time tracking was another useful feature. When an employee lost their internet connection, the desktop app could continue tracking and then sync the information once the connection was restored. Between two demos and two trials, I spent 4+ hours of time that was entirely avoidable if sales had been transparent about limitations around tasks even though I was exceptionally clear that without a decent import from Asana, including tasks/subtasks and due dates, the software wouldn't work for our business. Pros The two demos and multiple sales support interactions via chat were friendly and fairly responsive. Cons During the sales demos and my two subsequent trials, I directly asked about specific facets of the Asana integration like support for subtasks. I also mentioned that during my first trial the task due dates didn't seem to import. I was given friendly reassurances and placating words which led me to waste more hours of myself and another member of my team to set up a second demo, only to discover that tasks are very limited and as far as we can tell, only support a creation date and not a due date. In addition, task status did not import via the Asana integration, so Apploye showed ~82,000 open tasks. In addition, I ran into sporadic error notifications during testing (creating the second trial and setting up billing rates for a test project) that impeded my efforts to test the system to confirm it meets our needs. Switched from [Lucen Track](https://www.capterra.com/p/139636/Timeneye/)[Asana](https://www.capterra.com/p/184581/Asana-PM/) We ended up unable to make the switch, despite a much lower price point for Apploye and dissatisfaction with Timeneye's reliability. I'm working on an organization that uses Apploye. I encountered an issue, and the support has been able to identify the issue, and we got it fixed (the issue is timezone, which makes my Apployee didn't capture screenshots.) Love this. Pros Real-time tracking experience. I am confident that my work is logged and recorded properly. I also love that freelancers can delete time only when they have the right permission. And of course, their support is amazing (real human). Cons None so far. I like all of the features that Apployee currently has.
