"Amazing learning companion."

Pros: Crisp and short theory sessions accompanies by labs.

Cons: There is nothing bad , it is amazing to use it on computer. It would be better if you had an android app so that we can easily use it on phones.

Switched From: Udemy Business
Reasons for Switching to KodeKloud: No labs in udemy and a lot of blabbering trainers.

"An imposter's review"

Overall: It had gotten me through multiple certification exams; of which allowed me to support more projects in my current position. This goes without saying, but at large it improved my overall quality of life as well as a sense of satisfaction at work. KodeKloud is the best when it comes to accessibility. If you want to learn Linux for example, you have immediate access to start where you should be for your level- not needing to know how to spin up your own VMs or installing your own OS. I highly recommend KodeKloud, to anyone interested in getting into IT.

Pros: The entire concept for the platform is to make learning industry-specific skills accessible and in an organized manner. I don't need to learn how to spin up a VM to learn basic Linux commands. The video tutorials were also extremely helpful. Instructors such as [sensitive content hidden] does an excellent job 'dumbing down' complicated concepts (in k8s for example).

Cons: Only two points to note from my experience in the Terraform for beginners and the course after that (I can't recall the name): 1. Sometimes a question would ask about a concept that wasn't covered earlier in the programme. 2. VSC throws a permission error despite already enabling clipboard access to my browser.

Switched From: Udemy Business
Reasons for Switching to KodeKloud: I used Udemy for my company's account, but KodeKloud personally because of all the plus-points mentioned earlier.

"Great Content but limited Management of Courses"

Overall: I have explored the content in KodeKloud for Hashicorp Consul and Vault, which helped me pass certification exams. I am also exploring cloud certifications, Kubernetes, and GitOps. The availability of content related to certifications convinced me to subscribe to the service. The lack of content across all three major clouds is a limiting factor. When I run out of content, or focus on missing technologies, I will then need to explore other solutions.

Pros: Some of the content is amazing, such as Hashicorp, Kubernetes, and GitOps material. The interactive labs are great, in that they facilitate applied learning.

Cons: The navigation of content is difficult to use and sluggish. There's no method to arrange your menu of content, such as starring content or creating your custom learning path. The hard-coded learning paths are not useful for advanced users who would know much of the content but need to fill in gaps. The feedback loops do not reach the content providers, verified this with some of the authors. There's no automatic provisioning of temp resources per lab, so content providers are forced to use their private credentials to make the labs work. When there are bugs in the labs or content, it is hard to get them fixed in the existing system, and lack of reciprocal communication.

"One platform where I can learn new skills without worrying about actual training environment "

Overall: This is awesome platform with deep knowledgeable instructors who can help you to learn new technologies with confidence.

Pros: 1. Variety of courses in different domains 2. looking to learn and get certification than this is one place you can’t miss. 3. personally, I have use this platform to certify in KCNA and Prometheus, actively learning on CKAD and CKA.

Cons: 1. new portal corses are using light blue color fonts which is annoying when you use these courses at night in white background screen.

Reasons for Switching to KodeKloud: needed better content with test environments

"One of the best learning platform for DevOps, SRE & Cloud Engineers"

Overall: It was pretty good, it helped me excelling my learning curve.

Pros: The hands on labs, quiz, knowledge check, pdfs and course structure are awesome.

Cons: Sometime you'll not get admin access in labs, which may create difficulties in some experimental learnings.
