I would've just added cron jobs to the EC2 my site is running on, but that is not intuitive considering how much is abstracted away on the Heroku platform. Cons I have to sign in to my Heroku account and then navigate to Cron To Go through the Heroku platform because of (I'm assuming) how the SSO is handled. It's a basic cron and for that it seems to suit our needs. Cons Each run of the job should have its own log file. Is the only problem that execution logs are "mashed together"? If you click "View job logs", you'll indeed see all logs available on Heroku for that specific job. However, you can see them separated per execution if you click "View job history" in the same menu, and then expand a specific execution. Note that we don't store your logs, but only pull the available logs from Heroku. We recommend adding a logging add-on to keep and view historic logs. EA Eytan A.
