Overall our relationship has improved considerably over the past 12 months as their developer team has expanded. We are getting enhancements scoped, developed and implemented in a timely manner and the BA and Client Managers do a great job maintaining communication and feedback channels. There are still areas of improvement around accounting and functionality

Pros

Improved customer support, excellent inhouse technical knowledge. Good relationships maintained with developers and Client Management. Enhancements and bug fixes now pushed through the pipeline in a timely manner

Cons

We have heavily customised this product to make it fit for purpose to our needs. There is no inhouse Tenement specialist at K2Fly so enhancements to the system are predominantly reliant on our input.

Had many false starts to get some new functionality set up but all attempts failed due to K2Fly staff turnover and hence we lost confidence. There has been limited to no tech support provided to date to users.

Pros

Is able to ingest webservices. I have not come come across any outstanding.

Cons

The GUI is not well configured and very slow. no tenement data is being drawn on the map. No one uses the mapping.

Support was fantastic and solutions were found fast. South Africa and Perth support combination were very helpful.

Pros

As soon as you get used to it, the software is easy to use.

Cons

As this was newish for our operation there were a lot of suggestions. All improvements/suggestions have been raised on service helpdesk.

Pros

Audit features look great, reporting workflows are well organized and can involved multiple person through the company.

Cons

Interface is not at all user friendly. The system look very old which is totally unconvenient. Also, building simple outputs such as reports and dashboards were not straight forward. The system is always slow. The data consolidation once all the worklows are done is tricky.

Not pleased nor annoyed, there are some great features, it just needs to funds of clients to develop properly, and that can be a big ask at times. Especially if there are similar products for a fraction of the cost.

Pros

The feature that drove the sale for this product was the integration with MTO.

Cons

The time it takes to complete a simple upload of a document is excessive, the turn around time for support tickets has slipped after the first year. The product is so customizable that there are no specific guides or manuals, i think we were sold something that was going to be too much for just a user, needed to be more focused towards a systems admin to manage.

K2Fly bring a good level of SME to the table from their experience with Infoscope and the personnel are generally keen and helpful. Due to the large K2Fly workload, access to SME resources can be intermittent, leading to incorrect assumptions about business requirements and subsequent issues with parts of the proposed solution - resulting in unnecessary rework. More diligence in understanding requirements would remediate this issue.

Pros

Relationships between functions of the software and integrated spatial mapping, both of which are important to business decision making activities.

Cons

The Business needs the ability to manipulate and mass update their data. This is currently not a feature of the solution.
