March 31, 2023 4.0 We've been able to improve the performance feedback process for both managers & employees, creating more of an ongoing, in-the-moment environment for providing feedback (as well as capturing thoughts or examples of specific performance/behaviors in the system), allowing for deeper/richer performance conversations which are grounded in more real-life examples. Survey data is linked to current issues within the business, and there is a heightened level of transparency around the linkage between performance and compensation. Pros For many of us who've been around this HR/TM space for very long, we all know there are software companies that have been chasing this seeming Holy Grail of solutions which could effectively and efficiently pull together environmental scanning (i.e. surveys) with employee engagement, goal alignment/cascading, performance monitoring & feedback, and reward & recognition. We also are aware a few players have done a great job with some of these verticals, but none have done what was needed to align them all in one software offering. None, that is, until Innovation Minds came along. This is an intuitive platform which puts the control in the hands of the manager, the employee, and HR, with custom workflows which tailor its operation to the needs of my organization and managers today, while allowing total flexibility for the changes anticipated for our rapid-growth environment. Cons If there is one thing I wish I could strengthen, it would be stronger language for employees around the anonymity of employee survey data. Reason for choosing Innovation Minds no time to review anything else at the time Switched from [Paycom](https://www.capterra.com/p/130949/Paycom/) While Paycom is perhaps the most stable of the service bureau offerings, and their single software approach gives them a tremendous advantage over ADP, Paychex, and many other players in this space when it comes to reliability, their individual modules often suffer from the same woes in that they simply don't offer the same kind of functionality of a Lattice, Innovation Minds, et al. Within the Paycom environment, their TM module offers very, very little room for customization to the needs of my organization... such as the number of competencies for an employee, and how the employee's Self Eval is completed and stored vs. how the manager's review form is completed. Without Innovation Minds, I don't think we could have accomplished what we did. Pros The most impactful features have been the collaboration tools: smart whiteboard, task managements, and idea collaborator finder. These tools were intuitive and easy to use and helped me and other students get ideas off the ground.
