The immediate assistance we receive whenever we encounter problems saves a lot of headaches. The frequent Webinars are very helpful.

Pros

The transition from our previous app was seamless for both management and employees. The features most valuable to us include its direct linkage to Quickbooks, which has made our accounting process more efficient and vulnerable to far fewer errors. The alerts received when employees enter time and expenses late are a godsend. The custom made add-ons for our specific business requirements are greatly appreciated.

Cons

Anything that was lacking at the outset was added on at our request.

We embraced SMMware as the go-to software for our Franchise business and take advantage of many of the services included in our subscription.

Pros

We love having all of our data in one place so we can generate reports and analyze information when needed. The technical support provided by the SMMware team is amazing and problems are resolved almost immediately.

Cons

Would like it if there was interface with Constant Contact as well as MailChimp. Great to have software designed specifically for our Senior Move Management industry by a team that knows the challenges we face.

Pros

Ease of use and super support form Brian!

Cons

We had to swtich from Google calendar so sometime have to keep 2 separate calendars. I would also like to have an integrated inventory system.

SMMware has been fine. I think there are ways it could be helped, but overall it is very nice to use.

Pros

I enjoy SMMware because you can be very specific with its features. Admin can pinpoint which job you were on, your mileage and it is nice to be able to see all of that.

Cons

The software, at first, is extremely confusing. Additionally, it would be nice to have some sort of clock in and out button.

The software is excellent and the training is on-going. Great thing is if you have an issue if any kind? You receive a quick response!

Pros

This software saves so much time in comparison to how I was doing things prior. It is easy to use and the training is on going if needed. I seriously love the software. It’s great for writing contracts, invoicing and time keeping. I don’t know how I ran my business prior to this excellent software.

Cons

On the time keeping side, associates can only document time in 15 minute increments. I would prefer if it was in 5 minute increments. If their scheduled at 9am and show up at 9:10, they can clock in at 9 or 9:15. So not great for accuracy in my opinion.

Great experience. I appreciate the tech support when needed. SMMware staff are easy to reach and very helpful with problem solving.

Pros

Most important to me when using SMMware is the ease of keeping track of clients and contacts. I was fortunate to have found SMMware when my business was starting to pick up. I used to write everything down on paper, then put it in my computer. Now I have been able to become more time efficient using this specific software. It is quick and easy to pull up client's complete files. This software totally integrates with my business as it is designed for Move Managers. I appreciate the invoice options available for billing clients. I appreciate the space available in each file. Now I can keep all pictures of each household inventories in each client file. Very important for good record keeping, insurance and liability purposes.

Cons

I don't have a "con" at this time. If I have to write a "con"..... There was so much to learn in the beginning, but the tech support was always available and that is much appreciated.

Reason for choosing SMMware

I researched options, I spoke to other move managers to compare software available. This SMMware developer has been specializing in the move management profession for many years. I appreciate the tech support available, I appreciate updates which are offered for move managers as we work in this profession.

We use it for client management and scheduling, but plan to expand into marketing and other features.

Pros

It's geared specifically to our industry and customer support is wonderful.

Cons

It's a work in progress, but the developers are very open.

Love to use it!

Pros

Master calendar is really, really helpful. We were using Google's calendar for this before buying SMMWare and it was very limited.

Cons

The estimate feature is a bit clunky and the format is restrictive.

I have worked with many softwares. This is easy to navigate

Pros

I like that it is constantly being improved with new features. I have never experienced a glitch or down time. Great customer service !

Cons

Some of the headers could be changed to relate to my business. Ex- when preparing an estimate the titles and details menu is confusing.

Excellent customer service and great product

Pros

This is a great comprehensive CRM tool and beyond for Move Managers. I purchased this so all of my needed functions (CRM, calendar, time entry, file sharing, invoicing) could be in one application. I love all of the SSMWare tutorial videos that are available. Those have been very helpful and the customer support is excellent!

Cons

This looks & feels a bit dated and can be a little clunky to use. I would love to see a nice dashboard without all of the dropdown options to see exactly what client or how many clients are in what stage. For example, xx leads, xx proposal sent, xx booked, xx deposit received, xx packing in progress, xx sorting in progress, xx invoiced, xx closed.

Pros

The invoice manager feature is the most helpful to me; being able to see all employees and when they spent time on a jobsite is a wonderful tool for accurately billing my clients, paying my employees, and making sure we are on par with our estimates. Also, the customizable nature of all the fields makes the product feel less generic and more adaptable to our business and its changing needs.

Cons

I would prefer to have two separate locations to store documents and photos, instead of just under "files".
