Marketing Coordinator Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Game-changing Virtual Tours for Colleges" February 22, 2026 5.0 Circuit has been a huge boost to our student recruitment initiatives and their virtual tour solution has really enabled us to showcase what our campuses look and feel like for those that can't come physically to us. We always appreciate their commitment to adding new features and upgrades to enhance the software even further. Pros Circuit replaced our previous virtual tour provider and we found their solution to be much more aesthetically appealing from a user interface perspective. The overall user experience is seamless and it was a major improvement from our previous provider. We find high degree of student engagement from those that use the virtual tour and quite often we are able to push them further down our sales pipeline with success after they've used our virtual tour. The 360 photography is immersive and really drives home what it is like to be on our campuses. The ability to also add hotspots and video media has improved engagement. Most importantly we have ongoing meetings with their customer support team who always provide us with actionable changes that we can implement to improve our tour experience. Cons When we first signed up the back-end for administrators was a little clunky and there were some redundancies when you had to navigate to certain tours or areas to add new scenes, photos, etc. Over time the back-end has improved and they've removed some of the pain points that we reported. The front-end for users was always immaculate, but the back-end has been improving with time and they always take into consideration our feedback. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible the customer service experience has been from beginning to end. Their support with teaching us the tool, offering weekly support meetings, looking into new capabilities of the platform, and even helping us with the building process itself truly went above and beyond. Pros Circuit’s customer service is incredible across the board. Everyone we’ve worked with has been consistently kind, attentive, and extremely responsive (shout out to Chris!). They take our issues and ideas seriously, and they act quickly to address them. The weekly check-ins were especially helpful for keeping us on track throughout the process. It made implementation seamless. Thanks to the production team, the final tour looks fantastic. We also especially love the customizable voice feature, which lets one of our real students participate and makes the tour feel more authentic and personal. Cons There were a few user-facing elements we hoped would include specific features that don’t exist yet (for example, a more precise way to navigate through builds within the map feature, audio for Matterport hotspots, etc.). Ultimately, these are all relatively small items. That said, every question we brought to the Circuit team was answered transparently, and the features we wanted but didn’t yet see (or that didn’t quite work the way we expected) have been shared with their development team. They’re very receptive to feedback, and in the couple of months we’ve been working with them, they’ve already rolled out solutions to some of our requests. The platform itself is intuitive and easy to use, and it allows us to build multiple tours that highlight different aspects of the campus, such as classrooms, labs, study areas, and student services. There is also room to expand to additional spaces or future campuses, which gives it long-term versatility. One of the biggest strengths has been the quality of the photography and media, which creates a polished, engaging experience that reflects our brand well. Another standout has been the support from our customer success specialist. They were highly responsive and met with us regularly throughout the project, helping us think through content structure, workflows, and even ideas for collecting user feedback and promoting the tour. That level of support made the implementation process much smoother for our small marketing team. While the platform itself is straightforward, building the tours required more time than we initially expected. This was largely due to our internal content workflow and the level of detail we wanted in the experience. But once everything was in place, it became easy to organize spaces, add hotspots, and update content in real time. Circuit has helped us fill an important gap by providing an immersive way for prospective students to explore our facilities and student spaces. Beyond recruitment, we also see many opportunities to use it across marketing, communications, and student services as we continue to expand and add new content over time. While we haven’t fully tracked student engagement or recruitment outcomes yet, the platform’s analytics dashboard gives us confidence that it will help measure impact and support a variety of future initiatives. Once you get into the rythm of building out your scenes the sky's the limit on what content you can share. This allowed for me to showcase not only our various Spaces on campus but to highlight our Student Experience and Campus Traditions. It allows for tour personalization as well as the freedem and ability to update our content as often as we need. It provides such an impactful way to tell the story of being a Johnny! From day one, we were given in-depth and personalized instruction and support from our Circuit Representative \[sensitive content hidden\], as well as the rest of the team. The platform itself is intuitive and easy to work with from importing the 360-degree photos we shot internally, to editing copy & content, to launching the product on our own channels. Replacing scenes and graphics as the tour developed was a breeze. Near the end of the initial development, we were also given helpful resources and advice for content and promotion! The team was on hand with regular check-ins every step of the way and was always ready to listen to any feedback we had. Pros The interface is intuitive and easy-to-use. The team at Circuit is extremely helpful and professional, providing regular meetings, a timeline, resources and incorporation of any feedback given to them. The platform itself is fully featured, including options for multi-language, generated text-to-audio, options for video/still photography, self-captured & Circuit captured 360 degree photography, and more. Cons I'm happy to say we had no major difficulties with the platform or the team. Whatever minor difficulties that came up during development, Circuit was on hand to adjust or advise... and bring feedback back to their development team for consideration. Circuit truly is a fantastic platform from a functional perspective and that is only enhanced by the team behind it. Pros It is powerful, yet so easy to use! We were able to properly reflect our brand, tone, and institutional energy within the platform. While we absolutely love our finished product, we understand that our campus tour will always need updating and that is where Circuit truly shines. It is so easy to use that additions and modifications can be accomplished without deep level technical expertise. Circuit also has wonderful personnel that follow a well organized system to help get their customers up and going quickly. OK, attention to detail is not a bad thing, but you better be ready to be organized, methodical, and properly in tune with your brand in order to have a successful project. Pros I liked Circuit's customer service. I uploaded all content, including copy and images, to the CMS, and asked Anny a ton of questions! She would always respond in a patient, friendly, and prompt manner, often including a blog post about the topic in her answer. Circuit is an information station. You can tell that the employees are inspired just by the kind of work that they put out. If I lived in Toronto, I would work for Circuit! The CMS is very user-friendly and intuitive to use, and any questions I do have are answered easily by their Help Centre or directly by the team. We also arranged for new photography through Circuit, and the photographer was extremely professional and efficient. Overall, Circuit has been a great choice for us; the quality of the final product is exactly what we were looking for, and the ease of use for CMS and of working with the Circuit team has made the experience enjoyable. Turns out, I didn’t need to be! Circuit is INCREDIBLY user-friendly and straight forward. But what I like most about Circuit is the team you will be working with! Their customer service leads are accommodating, personal, and a big help in moving the project forward. It's not often you work with a product and get to work closely with the founder and CEO. Their team was willing to work as fast or slow as we were when it came to launching the product. And our lead was always available for quick 10-minute calls if we had questions. I encourage you to consult with Circuit - you will be surprised at all the unique features that can help you cater to your virtual experience (adding videos, adding audio, featuring call's to action, pop-ups, contact card forms for students to complete, adding land acknowledgements, etc.) I can see how Circuit could easily be adaptable to real estate, automotive industry, tourism resorts or conference/event spaces, etc. and we are proud to support this Canadian company! Cons It is difficult to pin point something that we disliked about Circuit as a platform, and the Circuit support team. I also don't have experience using other CMS Systems. Students can explore and discover what makes our university unique and experience the vibrant culture and spaces. The 360° content allows visitors to look around campus, and hotspots provide details about each area. An interactive map offers context about where tour stops are on campus, helps with wayfinding and supports the discovery of nearby highlights. Pros The support received from the Circuit team goes above and beyond. They were there every step of the way to ensure that we successfully planned and launched our tour. The content management system (CMS) was straightforward to use, and we especially loved this about the platform: • It’s a user-friendly interface that exceeds web content accessibility guidelines • Robust analytics for tracking visitors, engagement and conversion • Lead generation capabilities directly connected to our new CRM to promote calls to action that supports our recruitment efforts and advances students toward enrollment • A flexible back-end that allows the team to edit and expand the site easily • Capabilities like an interactive map, audio guide, and 360° content that create a a memorable experience for visitors Cons I wouldn’t say there is anything we dislike about Circuit Tours as they are continuing to make upgrades based on user feedback. It does require a lot of time in the beginning to plan out the tour, take photos and do the write ups. There is a lot of support and helpful videos and blogs to help with these processes. Reason for choosing Circuit We only reviewed Circuit based on their experience with other Canadian post-secondary institutions. Working with them is always a great pleasure because they care about you and your needs and genuinely try to help when things are not going as expected. The interface, both on the editor and end-user sides, is easy to understand. After just one intro meeting, I could use the system without too much additional learning. I also like that the platform is easily integrated with WordPress websites. We can add virtual tours to any landing page without any additional help. Cons I would love to see the floor feature/several layers of maps. Besides that, the current solution already meets most of our needs as an international recruitment team. The platform is incredibly well organized and easy to navigate, allowing for an exciting and immersive experience for any visitor.The team at Circuit provides some of the best customer service of any vendor we have worked with. They are super responsive and proactive in suggesting ways to extend the experience and are always looking for feedback on how to improve their product to keep up with new demands.The biggest draw of Circuit's platform is its beautiful design and user-friendliness. The homepage and tours have that "wow" factor that boosts engagement for our visitors. The other features embedded within the tours (personalization, pop-ups, buttons, etc.) contribute to keeping our visitors interested and engaged.
