Mac users almost completely switched over to other apps because WinZip does not allow many of the compression formats used on the Macs. They don't have too much fluff, but they incorporate all the features that you used to and could want in you archiving software. Cons Well I don't like that there's programs that could crack their password capabilities fairly easy. It will both compress your file(s), and provide you with an option to password protect it. Emails often have a maximum size, so WinZip comes very handy. And unlike various file sharing devices it can just seat in your email server, in case you ever need it later.
