Pros PPM Express is a great tool for tracking portfolios and projects. My favorite feature is the status boxes on each project page. PMs can track the overall status, risks, issues and next steps on a weekly basis. It's easy to track the schedule, iterations and delivery dates. I was able to easily pull these into weekly status reports and monthly steering committee reports for my management team. Cons 1\. I needed to pull in an individual with Power BI experience to assist with reporting. 2. I'd like to be able to download a custom view into an excel or word document. Its integrations with MS applications are great and make our work faster. The user interface is very easy to use and new employees can easily use this tool. Cons The Core plan I started with is lacking in functionality, especially the OKR module, its interface is organized but has a bit outdated design, the automatic saving of a document could be a problem, especially in its mobile versions. Pros If you're looking for a tool that pulls together both MS Project & Planner and offers a simple in-house project management tool this system is well worth a review. The system offers simple, effective and easy to use functionality that enables much greater visibility on complex deliverables. Cons The reporting is undertaken in MS Power BI, which will very flexible, does require a level of knowledge on Power BI set-up.. Can be quite complex, but very clear guides and videos on YouTube. Seems like this is not a completed product and it's being reworked. From the other hand at the moment it serves to our basic needs. Pros \- we have one place to manage project portfolio Cons \- Jira integration not working as expected - at this point information coming from jira integration is useless to me - many obsolete fields which are misleading (ie. iteration field in task) - action items\\issues\\risks has one free text field without time log, so anyone can amend it any time (and why there is 'load more button' ? if I look at the risks I want to always see them all not to miss anything) - schedule - why Jira view is default one ? The main reason we use PPM at this moment is the integration with DevOps. The scheduling of these workitems makes our lives easier! Pros That it has an integration with DevOps. Cons At sofar the only small thing is that we cannot find how to setup different default views on user level.
