In my work area I configure bots to work alongside humans. I'm mostly working in a cloud ecosystem and therefore having a robust Cloud server is key. With IBM, I get top networking speeds and fine-grained control while provisioning my instances. Overall, IBM Cloud Virtual Servers is worth every penny.

Pros

Of all the virtual servers I have engaged with, IBM has the fastest provisioning compute capacity. Delivers incredible networking speeds. Allows you to choose your preferred core and RAM depending on your workload.

Cons

The software is highly priced but our company already achieved a full ROI.

Ibm Cloud Virtual servers have highly favored our cloud infrastructure, offering us suitable outbound packages for our networks. We have subscribed to the pay as you use model of billing which enables us to obtain value for all our utility.

Pros

It works with all kinds of workloads with plenty of storage to suit your needs. Very flexible in terms of pricing, with billing options in relation to size and capacity. Allows you to choose a preferred profile depending on your liking from the cloud console.

Cons

We have used the software for three years now and the results have been appealing all through. The uptimes are consistent and you get value for every penny you pay for the hosting services.

IBM Cloud Virtual Servers have been useful for our web application deployments in a fast and secured manner. In case of any server related issues, we drop a mail to IBM Cloud support team who have resolved our problems and also offered documentation for our future references. Since their virtual servers are raw instances, we are able to configure it based on our needs.

Pros

1\. Its reliability in our production deployment phase is impressive as it provides 99% availability of servers. 2. Setting up its environment for instantiating our virtual servers is quick and easy to configure. 3. Once we establish our web application in IBM Cloud, we are able to observe substantial increase in performance and accessibility. 4. We are given various options such as spot instance, reserved instance and dedicated instance provisioning from which we can obtain our servers based on our bandwidth and utilization statistics. 5. We were able to successfully migrate our client application which was present for more than 5 years into IBM Cloud Platform and deliver it as per their expectations within our deadlines.

Cons

1\. In our web applications, we found difficulties in deploying PHP applications into our IBM virtual servers. 2. In case when we use containerization strategies, the configuration of Docker connection is complex. 3. Regional support is less when compared with its other competitors such as AWS and Azure which offers availability of server in many geographical regions to reduce latency and to promote content delivery.
