It is a good platform if you are using it. Way too expensive for what I wanted it for so it wasn't worth it for me.

Pros

Discord is great if you wish to have it for the rest of your life as it is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel subscriptions!!

Cons

Keep billing even after cancelled. I have tried for the last 3 months to cancel and stop billing. Now my account is disabled and I can't even log in but I am still getting billed.

Overall I like discord for personal use. I think it is a great software for building community, but I would not use it for work.

Pros

We like how community-oriented Discord is. Discord channels were a good way to keep organized, and supported multi-media uploads.

Cons

We were concerned about the security of messages and files shared on Discord. Discord was also not too commonly used by others in our network, so there was a learning curve whenever we onboarded new members.

Got introduced to Discord from a former colleague, and it is really good for group calls. The connection is really fast and seamless thus we rarely experience any lag.

Easy to use, fast and smooth connection for calls.

Sometimes it crashes, or the loading process takes too long.

Pros

Free powerhouse alternative to Teams and Slack. Has a great ecosystem of bots and tools, that are all affordable.

Cons

The DMs are outside the Server experience, taking a bit more time to find your team mates and colleagues.

Discord have more really good features and you can improve it by get a nitro that mean you need to purchase their plans . but you can enjoy in free system also. As i thin k system need to have more secure measurements and need some features to report it. I'm really like is the system have some of offline features also for view old messages. mostly discord is really good and we can use easy to an one who like to play games and wanna talk with large community with proper manner .

Pros

This is free and really easy to use and simple. This system is fully made for the gamers in beginning. And now its really Improve with lot, If you want you can share screen with anyone while you doing your playing or works and as i know this is the first app that it starts as first. and in here we can do low of things like group talking and watching films also as a group, more than other everything i recommend this for most group activity . We can make make community and in that we can divide lot of subcategory this is mostly i like in there. other thing is Customization and Control this is really good feature, we give permission and roles and we can have fully control.

Cons

Mainly i have a issue with the notification sounds, when we are in group chat with lot in active server overcome volume of notification. when we consider about the this need lot of performance and it affect to some old less powerful devices mostly it happen to me also once. and i think in here we need more privacy concerns because in here its not secure at all with harassment and i think this system need more security features . This required more good and stable internet connection it will be a issue with someone who stay a place with low connectivity .

It is clunky at best for adding images to posts and joining audio or video sessions. I'm multiple groups and each group only has a small icon to ID it, so finding each group is difficult. So this latest experience really topped the cake. I am contemplating not using it anymore. And tomorrow I receive a new (used, but to me) PC I purchased mainly to be my dedicated Discord PC.

Pros

Multiple forums available on one application.

Cons

I have used Discord for about 5 years. A problem I have faced is scammers direct messaging me. Discord doesn't seem to be able to do anything about that. Last week I received an invitation to join a Discord forum by a vendor from whom I have purchased several hundred $-worth of product. I tried several times to join that forum on 2 different PCs. Because their service was lousy, they added insult to injury by suspending my account. I appealed 4 days ago -- crickets.

In generale trovo Discord un metodo comodo ed intuitivo per restare in contatto con gli amici e trascorrere insieme qualche serata di divertimento giocando ai videogiochi, o anche solo chiacchierando.

Pros

Di Discord ho apprezzato molto la sua facilità di utilizzo e mi ha anche permesso di passare serate di divertimento con gli amici attraverso le chiamate di gruppo.

Cons

Talvolta ho riscontrato alcuni problemi che mi hanno costretto a riavviare l'applicazione: non mi si sentiva in cuffia, oppure mi si disconnetteva da solo. Tutto ciò però non ha influito sulla mia esperienza complessiva nell'utilizzo del software.

I love the ability to spend time with friends that may not live near me. And the fact that I can play games with friends without using in game chat

I can’t name one bad thing about discord. The only time I have any issues is when my network isn’t working well but that’s not discords fault
