It employs a standard layout and offers extensive customization options. I appreciate the capability to add numerous users with various levels of access to the system. They are receptive to changes, which I like, although it seems they might sometimes take on more than they can handle, potentially affecting consistency. I find it user-friendly and appreciate the robust features for creation. There are many components to explore and develop. Cons Hailey lacks a strong talent review process and visualization of such a process. Meaning a Talent review based on theoretical framework to track talent progression over the years. I think you can ad a lo and solutions exist but they don't seem fully thought-out from a users prespective. As the 360 or employee survey the system can not handle all needed admin ones started and utput is only CVS. I lack multimedia content like pictures and videos and offer more granular permissions, like letting a CFO view aggregated data. Automatic data delivery without manual extraction would be beneficial. Integrations payroll systems are there but not working as you would like as end user. Cons As Hailey is a startup, and a product that is being developed all the time, and as I use the product in Finnish, sometimes its translations are not correct - which gives an unprofessional impression. There's a few things here and there that would make it even better, some of the things mentioned above, but my overall experience with Hailey HR is great. Pros I like how easy it is to navigate on the platform, it is very user-friendly. I like the fact that Hailey starts small and builds upon the features with the customer's opinions and needs in mind. That way, Hailey will become a platform that is very customer-centric with features really fitting the customer's needs. Cons The backside of releasing new features quickly, is that they in the beginning doesn't meet all needs. A few concrete examples: - Surveys. We use Hailey HR for pulse surveys. It allows us to send a questionnaire every month, using the same questions, and thereby get a pulse of the organization. However, it is not automated at all, meaning we have to manually release the pulse survey every month as well as manually remind people that has not responded. Also, even if we use the same questions every time, Hailey doesn't give you an overview of all answers collected throughout the year, instead you have to go into each survey to see the answers for that month in particular. We solve this by uploading the answers on a Notion page, where we gather all responses throughout the year, to get a better understanding how the responses differ from month to month. Other example: The recruitment feature they just released. It is a great feature, great UX/UI, and I have zero doubts that it will become a super valuable feature. However, there's a lot of necessary features missing, such as creating a career page, being able to communicate with the candidates in the platform, things that for instance Teamtailor and Jobylon offers today. But, as mentioned above, starting small and building upon what is needed from the customers, is a great way of building an awesome platform, and I have no doubts that Hailey's way of doing it is the way to go. Reason for choosing Hailey HR Mainly the usability and the features offered, but also the fact that it's a flexible offer, allowing us to pay monthly. It was an additional plus for us that the system allows us to manage all work-related documentation such as contracts, certifications, driving licenses, hygiene passports, etc. in one place. Easy to set-up. As soon as I have any problem, small or big, I always get really fast help from their customer service, which is very pleasing. I have had a really nice overall experience with Hailey from the start. Nothing to complain about really. They are continutosly growing and releasing new features and updates. One thing that is something extra about them is their "newsletter" that you get every other 2-3 weeks, when they are finished with a spring. Here you can read about all new updates and new features. Always fun to read those! Pros What I like the most is the simplicity of the system. It has a nice, clean and bright design. It's logical. And almost most important, it's easy for new employees to get their tasks during their onboarding. And I get notifications and tasks regarding preboarding & onboarding (and other workflows that I have set-up), so I don't miss anything. Cons Nothing to complain about really. Since they are a scale-up saas-company it's understandable that not 100% of all features are released YET. But I know that their is more great things to come! I work in the system almost on a daily basis, and I manage just fine. So the only "bad" thing is that it's not 100% finished. In addition, from an HR perspective, I can follow how far a process has come, if it is a manager who is stuck, I know when to help. Employees can access to their own personnel file, apply for leave and find all internal contact information. Incredibly flexible system. In a short time, work environment activities to correct employment contracts have been created and signed digitally. In addition, HR key figures are presented automatically.But best of all, I get quick and amazing personal help from Hailey's support when I need it. Cons The system is updated frequently, as it is under development, which means that I need to spend time learning the system's news. Sometimes there are updates every month.I need to spend time creating company-specific templates.To integrate with our Payroll partner, I need to send an output file, manually, from Hailey at an exact time. Pros That it gathers all information about employees in one place. For example, notice periods, salary, documents, contact information, date of employment, etc. etc. It simplifies everything administratively regarding recruitment as it is possible to create, send and sign contracts via Hailey. It makes preboarding and new employee onboarding a lot easier because it is possible to set up automated flows in Hailey that creates tasks at the right time to the right person. These flows can also be set up for offboarding or when a colleague goes from probationary employment to a permanent employment. It can easily be integrated with both slack and our intranet. Another great pro is the service! We always get quick answers when we have questions and help with setting up and adjusting things when needed. Cons It would be nice to be able to customize some sections a bit more (Job General Section). It would also be nice with a more developed integration with slack. It's easy to get an overview of groups of employees as well as individuals. The managers can find information about their employees in one place and the employees gets more transparency on what data that is collected by the company.
