Although LongShot can write a blog that ranks high on search engines, I find AI assistance useful to overcome writer's block. My outlook for the tool's future is pretty optimistic, and I think that things look good—another future success story waiting to happen. Pros In a short period, LongShot has grown tremendously. I'll get right to it and cover a few of their features that I believe are game-changers when it comes to AI content writers. The first is their Niche feature, which helps AI write better content for you based on your niche. It gives AI the context you're trying to convey to the AI. The Niche feature provides good results for me, so I'm pretty happy! Among other features that I think are crucial for AI, writers are the Fact Check and Claim Detection features. AI tends to write garbage every now and then. That's where these two features ensure the content is factually accurate to combat this issue. And finally, the Write more feature! Love it! An absolute beaut. Cons I don't have many complaints about this beautiful product. LongShot team can surely work on the UI/UX of their platform, but that's not really a big deal because the backend team is always bringing out updates at regular intervals. With Longshot, even with the editing I do to the generated blog posts, it still takes less time than ordering articles, reviewing articles, approving articles, etc., etc. Pros I use Longshot for product descriptions and blog posts. It's very easy to use - I can fill out a couple of boxes for a product description and it will generate 3 options, from which I either choose one or combine two or more to fill out the description. Very quick and easy. The blog posts make grammatical sense and are thorough and readable - very happy with the output. I do edit to add my own thoughts and do some edits if I feel it necessary, but it doesn't require much. Cons For some reason, I could never find my past blog posts. But once I figured it out, it was okay. It started with generating articles now they added a better outline, better keywords, a fact-checker, a marketing copy generator, a product copy generator and many more. I think the company is in their infancy but as time goes they are adding more and more features that keep on improving. Overall they are doing a good job, and just hope that it keeps getting better. Pros The thing that I like the most about the product is that I don't have to write about things that are tedious to write. For example, I'm writing a blog, and I need a definition of a term. Longshot really helps you with that. So whenever I am stuck or I want a quick paragraph to be generated. I write a command (eg. write a paragraph about the definition of hyperparameter tuning), and the AI-generated a pretty good copy. So it saves you a lot of time, allows you to focus on what is important in your article and can help you easily transform a 500 words piece into a 1000 word one. Pretty awesome. The quality of the text generated is more often than not very good too. They have been cases in which the generated text isn't good, so you will have to generate a few times to get it right. Cons One of the things that could be improved was the length of the content. I want to be able to generate full articles after I give a couple of instructions, outlines or paragraphs. That would take this software to the next level. As of now if you want to use this tool to extend your writing, then it is great. If you want to generate a full article from this tool, it's alright BUT expect to do a lot of editing.
