Multiple threat-specific alerts can be sent at one time using the real-time floor plan campus map. Plus, those alerts can accommodate multi-level building elevation and photographic event documentation.
From the 2nd floor, a staff user spots an armed assailant crossing the campus. In less than 10 seconds, the spotter can notify in real-time all active users and local first responders instantly.
After notifying all active users simultaneously, the spotter can call or text 9-1-1 from within the app. Potential loss of life can happen with pre-set evacuation routes as other tools provide. Only Active Defender provides true actionable awareness.
Active users outside the buildings can retreat inward for the lockdown protocol, securing all active users and those they are responsible for inside the buildings. Manual location setting or GPS can show their new safe position inside the map view.
While local first responder are en route to contain the situation, status updates can be sent with 1 tap of the Status Button and the red "Need Help" status changes to the green "I'm Okay."
